Description of Work: Complicated bathroom sink/faucet repair. Had another plumber look at it first. They suggested I buy new fixtures because they couldn't get the old ones off. I called Henry Bush and they had it fixed right away (no new fixtures). It was a tough job but it was done perfectly.

Description of Work: I requested that the Service Technician give my central air conditioning unit a thorough inspection because of problems with inadequate cooling. Previous to this I had a consultant from this company come and check to see if there were any major problems with the attic ducting and insulation. He said that there did not appear to be any breaks in the ductwork so I asked why I would have such a difference between the performance of the unit this summer as compared to last summer. He stated that I had a distribution problem because of the poorly laid out ductwork and gave me an estimate for replacing all the ductwork and an option to add new insulation. I pressed him for an answer to my question about the drastic difference between this year and last and he finally said that maybe a dirty coil or low refrigerant could possibly cause the problem. I then called the company to have a technician come out and check the unit. When he came, I explained to him the situation and he felt that it was a problem at the unit. He did a thorough inspection of the unit and found that it was very low on refrigerant. He added more and almost immediately the air was cooler. He then checked for leaks in the coil and didn't find any except for the service port cap that was not screwed on tight and felt that was probably where the leakage had occurred. I was extremely pleased that this technician listened to what I said and his 30+ years of experience led him to the correct solution. I will be asking for him the next time I need anything done to my HVAC system.

+ -1 moreThe overall experience was bad. The workers were slow and made many mistakes. The biggest is when they accidently cut through and electrical line with one of their saws. The electrician they hired to fix the problem pointed out another issue with their work. It was just one thing after another all caused by workers' mistakes or miscommunication between sales and service. In the end, the owner of ther compnay came out and apologized. Clearly he was as frustrated as we were about how poorly the whole project went. He gave us about $500 to help make things right. Just glad its all behind us now.

+ -1 moreThe 1st visit was professional and reasonable. Overnight the heater went out again. The same serviceman came the 2nd time and went directly to work and fixed the problem again. He handed me a bill for more than I had paid the day before. He stated that the part he had just replaced was one he had tried the day before but at that time didn't think it was the problem. After I signed the paperwork, I realized I signed the estimate agreement, which of course I hadn't seen before he went to work. I was in no position to argue as I was taking care of my husband who had cancer and was on hospice. I can't believe someone would take advantage of me in this way. Or perhaps this is how the company works.

The installation team was very cordial and professional. They offered a rebate which required their employees to be trained in order to offer this to customers which I liked.
