Description of Work: I called a couple weeks ago and talked with Todd. He said he would come over the following day to look at the roof. Unlike many contractors in our area, he actually did it. He said he would get me an estimate in the next day or two, and he actually did that too. :-) | |They replaced the roofing (asphalt tiles) on my 48'x24' workshop. They also replaced the damaged / rotted plywood, the vents, and ridge vent. It took one day for tear off of the old roofing and plywood repair. The next day they laid down the felt, vents, and roofing tiles. | |The new roof is fantastic. We chose a salt-and-pepper color to help withstand the summers here in Redding.

 + 0 moreI did a lot of research before I picked them. I got at least four bids. There was a considerable difference between them. Two of them were real close; the two top ones were within a $1,000. I went with the top one. I had asked for at least three references and I called and talked to people. He was just right on. He wouldn't do it unless there were five days of good weather. The weather forecast changed and they came on a Saturday because they were two days from finishing and they wanted to make sure it wouldn't hurt anything if it rained. I was really impressed. They did a super job and more than what we asked for. They cleaned up and there wasn't one piece of asphalt tile anywhere. It was great and they came when they said they would. They said it would take five days to do it and that is exactly how long it took. They didn't need to do any repairs on the roof. It has a lifetime warranty. It was expensive, but it was definitely worth it. They have been in business for a long time.
Description of Work: I used Pacific West Roofing to do our roof. We have a 2300 square foot one story home with a 2-car garage. It is a big roof. They torn off the old roof and put on a new roof with new gutters because we requested them. The roofing was really high grade.

 + -1 moreHe and his entire crew were prompt, courteous, professional, and did what they said they would do. He was the only one honest enough to tell us what needed to occur to make it where we would not have recurring damages in specific areas. Cannot say enough good things about him. We wish all contractors that we have dealt with were as good. He has excellent communication skills and went above and beyond to get the job done and it is beautiful.
Description of Work: This company removed our old roofing and replaced with new roofing. They also repaired dry rot damage under the eaves and also replaced all the flashing around the areas of our roof that needed it. They placed special lining on the sides of the roof to prevent the dry rot from occurring again.
