This will be the third time I have used Pacific West Roofing. Todd guarantees his company's work. He has come out over the years whenever I called to ck the roof at no charge, once to seal around a satellite installed. Cannot say enough good things about this company.

Excellent, a beautiful roof. This is a large and very steep roof.. Todd is very professional and pleasant to work with. This is the second house he has roofed for us and would recommend him To anyone. Todd has a excellent crew, that comments very highly of him. They are very hard workers that stayed on the job and so positive even with over 100 degree heat everyday they worked. It is great to see Todd work side by side with his guys.

Our 26 year old shingle roofing was past due for replacement. Pacific West Roofing was one of the roofing companies we were considering. I contacted Todd Fischer from Pacific West, and he promptly came out to discuss the project with me. He was very knowledgeable and clearly shared all the latest roofing information with me and told me precisely what the project would entail. The fact that he is very personable, too, helped me to make the decision to go with his company. Because of all the rainy weather we had this spring, they had quite a large backload of projects. They were not able to start for a couple of months, but it turned out to be worth the wait. The crew arrived early in the morning on the starting date. They worked quickly and efficiently even though the temperature was in the triple digits. Because of the extreme heat, they had to quit a little early each day of the project, but they always completely cleaned up around the perimeter of the house before they left. As the project progressed, Todd showed me an area of dry rot and also pointed out some boards that were showing sun damage. He indicated that a couple of boards probably should be replaced now (or very soon) but left it entirely up to me about what to do about that and other areas of possible concern. I, of course, had them repair the area of dry rot and also had them replace the 2 boards that most needed replacing. That added a little to the cost, but it will be worth it in the long run. Roofing replacement is expensive, but because of the extent of the work they did, the quality of their work and the quality of the materials they used, I feel the cost of their service was reasonable and competitive. In addition to the above mentioned services, they also spotlessly cleaned the gutters (which were filled to the brim with decomposed leaves and other 'gunk') and added 3 attic vents to the roof. All in all, we are extremely pleased with Pacific West Roofing and Todd Fischer. The project went very smoothly and exactly as Todd originally presented it to me. I wholeheartedly recommend this company for your roofing needs. I am confident that you, too, will find working with Todd Fischer a pleasure.

Todd and his men were very professional and the work site was cleaned up each day. I could see how much dry rot needed to be replaced, and I am confident that the work was done correctly. I also learned why they were putting in the type of roof vent they used, and why my old roof vent didn't work. Also, I had new gutters installed, and likewise, I could see the difference in how they were not properly installed before....now I have gutters and downspouts that will work! My roof cost was $8400; the cost of replacing A LOT of dry rot was $$2650. I'm VERY happy with my roof!

I was extremely please with the work performed by Pacific West Roofing. Todd and his crew are highly trained and conscientious. As the weather changed from what was originally predicted and they did not have a clear five days to complete the job as expected, his crew worked tirelessly to finish the roofing project in four days. This company's crew is highly skilled and take great pride in their work. Each and every person on the crew was courteous and always took time to answer my questions or concerns as to any aspects of the project. My place was always left spotless at the end of each day. I will never contract with any other company for any roofing needs.

Todd Fischer and his crew were very punctual and professional. On the final day Todd inspected the roof and did any necessary clean up. I was impressed that the owner was involved with the work and not just collecting a check. The work done was beyond my expectations. Thank you Todd and crew.

No response to a request for a quote

As the maintenance supervisor for our volunteer fire department I was asked to obtain 3 bids for a new roof with rain gutters. I called 3 roofing companies in Redding and met personally with a representative from each. Todd with Pacific West Roofing impressed me. His knowledge, professionalism and experience told me he was the right company for the job. Being a community funded non profit volunteer fire department, our resources are limited and Todd took that into consideration and his price was within our budget. His crew arrived on time everyday, worked a full day and cleaned up everyday before going home. We now have a beautiful roof and are very happy. Todd bid on this job along with five other local roofing companies. His professional demeanor and knowledge stood out among the bidders. It was also clear he was highly regarded by the local roofing suppliers and recently retired peers. What we wanted was a quality roof at a reasonable price. Pacific West Roofing delivered it. Work required complete tear off of old shingles and underlayment, replacing selected wood sheathing, fascia boards, flashing, and above roof vents and pipes, removing old skylights and installing new upgrades skylights, installing new underlayment, and upgraded shingles, cleaning gutters and installing gutter covers. We knew when we bought the home, that selected roof sheathing and fascia boards showed signs of wet and dry rot in places. The old roof and skylights should have been replaced years earlier. So we were expecting bad news once the roof was stripped. Under the bidding process, we asked bidders for estimates on sheathing and skylight replacement. Todd was the only contractor who said he couldn't really provide that information realistically in advance. So that was our only concern going forward. Todd and his crew arrived early every day and worked throughout the day each and every day. Watching them work it was clear everyone knew what they were doing and how to do it efficiently. At the end of each day you could not even tell they were there as they cleaned up everything at the end of each day. Despite what was clearly a hard working crew, they also all had a sense of humor and were friendly and well-mannered throughout the project. They were truly a well knit crew. Once the roof was stripped it was apparent that selected sheathing and fascia boards had to be replaced. The additional cost would take us over budget. Todd provided a solution. He was willing to provide the skylights at cost to help cover the sheathing and fascia work. The day after work was completed, we discovered two minor problems. First, the roofing nails used to hold down the flashing, underlayment, and shingles on the downslope side of each dipping skylight were a bit too long. The nail tips had come through interior ceiling drywall. Instead of just clipping them off, and painting over the remaining ends, which is what most roofers would do, Todd replaced everything on the roof but used shorter nails. Second, the nonreplaced vent and pipes were painted but those on the north section of the roof all began to peel within a few months. Todd is returning to repaint the above this fall at no charge. Whereas the work performed initially might seem expensive, we had a number of requirements that were deemed essential to getting a roof that really lasted for 25-30 years. We used locally manufactured (Malarkey) 30 year shingles (fifteen full followed by 15 prorated) warranty. The latter is a warranty that the manufacturer actually honors, unlike the suto long-term warranties offered by most major national shingle manufacturers, many of whom who are now facing class action lawsuits because of the truly poor quality of their premier shingles. We had shingles attached using five rather than three nails due to high wind conditions that often occur in our area. Also all sheathing and fascia showing wet or dry rot and flashing was replaced. Our upgraded replacement skylights were low E dual pane argon filled self cleaning and are also similarly warrantied against leakage. They were installed in a manner that ensured reduced potential for further reduce. We also installed the number one rated fire-sealed attic intake and exhaust vents on both house and garage given the high fire risk zone we live in. Finally the roof work was done extremely well. Minimally it had to be done to meet local current city building codes, and approved by city inspectors. Actually it was done to a much higher standard of quality because that is the nature of Pacific West Roofing. Upon completion, there are clean sight lines and flat planes throughout, with no dips or bumps, with in valleys looking like the roofing company adds---perfect abutments leading to a laser straight line of sight along the valley bottom from ridge top to gutters. The quality of Pacific West Roofing work is reflected in their warranty on workmanship, which is for ten years. (What roofer does that anymore?) Since we have had the work done, many neighbors and visitors have commented on how beautiful it looks.

It went very well. The crew and and owner (Todd Fisher) started on Tuesday 4/28 and finished on Friday 5/1/2015. The crew is well trained, courteous and very professional. The cleanup was superb, the owner (Royce Bishop) did not have pick up anything. The crew came every morning at 7:00am and started, there was no wasting of time, more importantly they all worked as a Team. Exceptional crew and boss. The crew had a leader and if there were any questions they came to him for direction. I my wife and I were duly impressed by their team work and professional attitude.

They did a great job. It required a lot of scheduling because the business was open and they had to work around the dropping of and picking of students. They found some dry rot and different issues that had to be addressed and they handled it and was still on schedule.I also went to the Roofing Roofing the suppliers and they told me they were very reputable and paid their bills so no liens would be pit on my building. Todd Fisher the owner of the company was easy to work with and very professional. They also left the premises in good condition every day which is a big deal when you are running a business.

Better than we could have ever expected (see what Todd and his crew did.)

We just completed a total re-roof on our 16 year old house, in which the original roof installation on the house had been completed very poorly- by a different roofing company, of course. Pacific West Roofing was an excellent roofing company with which to work. Todd Fischer was with us the entire time- from discussing all of the original roofing inadequacies and poor installation to problem solving how the original mistakes would be fixed BEFORE the new roof went on. He and his crew- (all pleasant and courteous young men), were extremely attentive to every detail, and took as much care with our property as they would their own homes. There was minimal mess, and they tore the old roof down to the plywood sheeting, correcting various issues as they went. Todd also worked to arrange the necessary repairs we needed for both stucco and gutter issues. He kept us informed of every step in the progress and what to expect, and also the problems that were encountered along the way. I have the utmost confidence in our new roof- and am actually looking forward to a good downpour, because I am certain we are now well-protected. I highly recommend this roofing company.

I can, without reservation, recommend Pacific West Roofing as a fair and efficient roofing company. Todd had a fair bid, sample of material, and a time frame for the project within 24 hours. His crew, kept me appraised of the progress, and did an excellent job of clean up. They even cleaned up some things that I don't believe they caused. After the bid was in, we discovered that there were 2 layers of old roofing, rather than just the one. Todd told me it would cost him extra for time and dump fees, but he was willing to absorb the extra. I would recommend and use again in the future.

I was very happy with Pacific West Roofing. Todd, the owner, showed up on time for his bid and took a lot of care and time explaining all the different options to me. He was great about keeping up communication and letting us know when they could get our job done. They showed up promptly on the day they were scheduled. It took them an extra couple of days than anticipated, but that was because they did such a thorough job and added some extra waterproofing in an area that needed it--they could see it once they pulled the old material off. He only charged me for the cost of the gutter covers and didn't add in any extra labor for installing them. His crew was polite and respectful. They left my yard immaculate. I think it was actually cleaner than when they came!

It went great. His workers were pleasant and they cleaned up daily (very impressive). They were here on time each morning and were mindful of keeping the gates closed so my dogs would not get loose. The contractor updated me daily and was more than happy to answer any and all of my questions. I felt perfectly secure in leaving the house while they were working. I am now retired from the city of Redding and after meeting the contractor and his crew I would have been completely comfortable in having this done while I was away at work. The roof is absolutely beautiful and I would highly recommend this contractor.

Pacific West Roofing did an excellent and timely job and a fantastic job of cleaning up.

They were fine. They did the measurement and evaluation. I didn't use them because the other company had few things more included in the bid and they are just bit expensive than others bids as well. I would not use them again.

They did an excellent job of installing my new roof. The price was good, they did the job quickly, did not try to add extra costs, and the clean up was like they were never there, but I had a new roof. They were very considerate and professional.

We have used Pacific West Roofing twice and we have been VERY satisfied with them. They came when they said they would, performed the job very quickly and professionally, our roof looked beautiful, and the part that leaked hasn't had a problem since. The second time, not only did Todd do the job, in the same quick and professional manner, but the help us deal with the insurance company, that only wanted to patch the roof, with shingles that wouldn't have matched and would have looked terrible. Both times we were given a written estimate and that is what we ended up paying. Both times the area was cleaned up so well that you would never know that they had ever been there. Todd is friendly, helpful and professional, and I have recommended him and his company to several people and will continue to do so. I also wouldn't hesitate to use him again should we need to on a future project.

Todd and his crew arrived on time, and worked quickly and professionally. The clean up was 100%, as I didn't find even one lost nail or old shingle on the ground. He kept me informed on progress. He called the night before to tell me he would be there the next day. He also advised me on what to look for in any future needed repair. It was fun to watch them work as a team.

The company completed the job in a timely manner, even coming in on a weekend due to the threat of rain. They cleaned up every speck of old roofing with no damage to any landscaping. We had 3 estimates done prior to hiring them. They were the most expensive but had the best recommendations. I had called at least 3 previous customers for each of the 3 companies we had gotten bids from and Pacific West Roofing had the strongest recommendations. We do not regret the decision.

Todd and crew arrived every day like they said they would. They did a lot of prep before roofing. Our 2 flat roofs were done with hot roofing. They look great, all the seams are even and uniformed. The new shingles ( Todd helped us chose the color ) went next. Wow the roof looks fantastic! We are so glad we chose Pacific West. This company is very professional. They do a great job, have good work ethics, are on time, and clean up after each work day. They do what they say the`re going to do. We will and have recommended Pacific West Roofing to our friends, family and neighbors. When Todd , the owner, tells you what he`s going to do , he does it. This is the first new roof we`ve ever had done and are very pleased with the out come and our contractor.
