Description of Work: A/C was blowing hot air , Allianz came out same day I called , very prompt and professional, fixed the problem. Our unit is old, I appreciated them not trying to sell me a new one and fixed the problem. I will definitely sign up for their service contract, it sounds like a good deal.

+ 0 moreIt went great! I got my insulation blown in, and had another company install a few new turbine vents. The insulation guys even found where the builder from 20 years ago had just stuffed the batting up against the eve vents, which is a big no no! All good now though and my energy bill shows it!
Description of Work: Martin, the owner of Allianz Heating & Air, aka homecomfort.org came right out to my house after a phone call requesting a price on insulation. I was about to have a new roof put on and the roofing contractor advised me that the city would demand an upgrade from my 20 year old R19 to at least a factor of R38. Martin climbed up in the attic and discovered another issue with the recessed lights previously installed by an electrician. Seems the kind of can lights they used were not the kind you could just pile more insulation on. I had to construct little enclosures for all six lights, but the point is... Martin took the extra time to call the city and find out all about it, thereby keeping my attic fire safe! Other less diligent contractors might have simply blown in the insulation without checking. Martin knows his stuff! I knew and trusted him before, but NOW I really do. He saved us a ton of money on the whole deal.

+ -1 moreOur hvac system was old so we decided to have it replaced. We had estimates from 5 companies, & went with Allianz. Martin the owner, came to our home and checked our old system and went through our home and gave us a very good bid. After dealing with high preasure salesmen it was a pleasure dealing with Martin. A few days latter they started the job, removing the old furnace from the attic, which was no easy job. There is no room in our attic because of the many trusses. They then had to reconfigure a new system that would be in our garage. They did a wonderful job, no mess or fuss and were ot of here on the 3rd day. We couldn't be more happy...
Description of Work: We had Allianz Heating & Air install our new system. We were very impressed with the quality of their work. Martin & his crew were promt courteous & very efficient. They removed our old system that was 17 yrs. old, from the attic, and installed the new system in our garage. The whole process took less then three days. They were very professional and they did a wonderful job. We couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. We will definitely use them again for any heating & air conditioning work we may have in the future...

+ -1 moreEveryone at Allianz was courteous friendly and professional, the unit that was installed works great and should save me some money, Martin arranged for my rebates that will help offset the cost and he gave me my Angie's list $200 discount. All in all a great experience.
Description of Work: I called Allianz because my heater quit working, a tech came out and told me my heat exchanger was cracked and could not be used because it wasn't safe. We talked about installing a new unit where he gave me a quote, the next day the company owner came out to talk about the right unit for my home. Martin the company owner made arrangements with the roofing company that I had scheduled the following week to replace my roof so both could be done at the same time without any problems.

Description of Work: Orginally contracted with company for AC replacement and duct repairs in July 2010. The job was completed in one day and was satisfactory in all respects. Later that fall when our furnace decided not to work, I called them again and the trouble was repaired and the system tested.....and again done in a timely and professional manner.

+ -1 moreFrom start to finish (only 2 days) the techs were on time and very polite and very professional. The old heat pump unit was right in middle of the living room wall and an eye sore. They removed the old unit and repaired the drywall. They installed the new unit, which is beautiful because it is out of the way and not an eye sore. It works great and the two techs were very clean and made sure the room was finish right. We are VERY pleased. They also handled all the permits, inspectors and our energy rebates.
Description of Work: we had a mini split system (a/c - heat) installed and the old heat pump removed from the wall.

We highly recommend this company as they provide excellent, prompt, same day service if there is ever a problem, the price for our new system was within the guidelines we had set, and they did all the paperwork for us regarding the energy rebates and credits. The owner of the company was friendly and spent a lot of time with us before we purchased our system and the workers who installed the system were very efficient and knowledgeable.
