Allianz Heating & Air

Alliance was a bidder only in a major HVAC renovation. However, even though theirs was not the successful bid they were right their in the middle with a quality product - which they did not embellish. They were well versed in the field, prompt and responsive to our many questions.

Work was done professionally, promptly, and effectively. The staff were professional and personable and the upper level bedrooms now cool well.

I was quite pleased with the technician who was more than happy to explain the problem, how my system works and showed me the internal system when he had it opened. The problem with my furnace was a routine issue. The igniter element, which was 10 yrs old had failed and required replacement. I was charged appx $135 for the part alone however I latter found the part on-line for a fraction of that amount. Still, overall, I feel this company can be trusted, which has been a issue for me in the past with a different company. All in all, they get a 5 start rating from me and more important they will get my return business.

Martin's team came on time and on schedule. They were very professional and went above and beyond what most AC and heating companies do. They recommended a blower for the master bathroom and told us if we brought one they would install it at no extra charge. They balanced the coolness of the AC to the whole house and answered all questions. When I thought that the attic fan was not connected, they came out and reviewed it and informed us that it was not needed and was a drain on electricity. Martin is very personable and he goes over every aspect of your new HVAC that will keep you home cool and comfortable and recommends other aspects to improve the SEER rating. We wound up with a SEER unit of 16.5 according the the contract. When I viewed the condenser unit and found out it was listed as a 14.5 SEER, I called Martin and he told me that with all the other equipment attached it will enhanced it to 16.5 SEER. I would recommend Allianz Heating and Air to anyone for their work, professionalism and humor.

Martin and colleagues at Allianz were fantastic. Very friendly, informative, efficient, and professional. They explained everything that needed to be done and did just that, no extras, no hard sell. I've been waiting to write this review because I wanted to take some time to see how the new unit performs. I've been though winter and most of this summer and it has performed beautifully, not one hiccup. Thank you Martin and company, I am completely satisfied with the excellent service you provided.

They were not my first choice from listening to neighbors and their compamies. It was 113 degrees and the first choice could not come for a week and a half. Allainz came on Fourth of July, no extra charge. The guys were great. I had to leave and they finished before my return. They even locked up the house. A little more than a week later I received a bakers dozen of cookies as a thank you. The unit is working fine so far and my experinece was good.

They were very good! They were on time and professional. They didn't try to sell me a new air conditioner, and they didn't try to increase their bill by saying anything.

I called Allianz on Sunday evening...They arrived on Monday afternoon to check my air conditioning. They replaced the capacitor and serviced the unit...It is a really busy time (Its been well over 100 degrees they last 5 days..) for them. I was pleased they arrived in a timely fashion...and could get the unit going again. They are very professional.

They were so efficient and very well priced. The owner came out and he checked to make sure everything was working. He was very personable. I would highly recommend them.

I consulted Angie's list for a provider in Redding as I live in Lincoln, CA. The residence where the repair was done is used as a rental. My converations with office personnel were always very courteous and informative. The service person worked with my tenant for scheduling repair work. All reports are that everything was taken care of in a timely manner. I have followed up with scheduling a year maintenance plan for both the heating and air conditioner units through Allianzi.

They gave me four quotes and four different options to use and I used the one that was at his suggestion. They were more efficient and I went with them. They were real thorough and did a good job. I would use them again.

I'm trying to get another season or two out of my 23 year old HVAC systetm. Allianz quoted me a new system, which was less than the other company I had otained a quote from, who's MO is to sell the system at a markup then add in a bunch of bogus rebates and discounts to make you think you are getting a good deal. Unfortunately, it was still more than my budget could bear this year. I asked if there was anything I could do to make life easier for my existing system. They looked in my attic and recommended pulling the ducts down from the roof, laying them on the rafters, then adding more insulation to cover the ducts. It looked like there was only about 6" of insulation present in the attic. I decided to have this work done. When the crew came out to do the work, they discovered that the trusses in the attic were constucted in an odd way with two bottom menbers, so there was actually about 12" of insulation present. The crew could easily have gone ahead and executed the work order and I would have happily paid them, but instead they informed me that what they were proposing to do really wouldn't have that much benefit because there was already a lot of insulation in the attic. They recommended waiting to realign the ducts when I get an new system. They didn't even charge me for the time it took to test my duct work, and they cleaned my condensor and checked the freon levels, all for free!. This is my second experience with the honesty of this company. The first time was when my AC quit on a hot summer day. I figured it was done for and was anticipating buying a new system. Alliance came out the same day I called and quickly diagnosed the problem as a bad capacitor, which they had on the truck and were able to replace on the spot for a very reasonable price. Honesty is one of the most important things I look for in a contractor. Alliance has demonstrated that to me twice now. Needless to say, this company has all my future HVAC business.

Martin and his staff were fantastic through the whole process - I mean everyone - the office people, the guys - Tony and Drew. they were polite, knowledgeable, they worked with me the whole way, told me everything they were doing. They didn.t do or not do anything without checking with me. They were also very polite even when I was pokin around asking questions. The work was all quality and so were the materials. When they encountered problems that were due to previous installations they involved me and worked out solutions. My wife was at home sick during most of the time that they were working on our home and they did there very best to work and take into consideration her situation and kept the noise down to. I did not worry about Tony and Drew being in my home they were honest trustworthy guys that were there to do a job and they did. Martin and crew met all time and cost expectations. If I could give Martin an A++ I would - and I can't be bought, I couldn't be more sincere about Allianz. I will use Allianz for all of the services they in the future should i need them,it would treally be silly to go anywhere else.

The price was not the only reason we selected them. They demonstrated that they really WANTED the job. They were professional, courteous, on time, on budget and cleaned up when they were done. I would HIGHLY recommend this company!

Martin McGraeff and his crew from Allianz Heating and air were professional very polite, clean and neat. Did I mention prompt and fast, a short day and a half. They cleaned up after replacing our heating/air conditioning unit, you couldn't tell they were even here. Except now we have heat ! This unit works great and looks nice. They did a great job on the roof and inside we have nice new vents that really let the air flow. It is amazing how much better this new unit heats our home compared the old one. We are also excited about the energy savers rebates we will get from our utility company. I have alot of confidence in Allianz and Martin McGraeff and would certainly recommend him to friends and family. Thank you Allianz for your expert work.

This is a wonderful and honest company which deserves the highest rating possible. They gave me a 10 year warranty (parts and labor) for my new furnace. When I originally called them to come out and check the old furnace since it would not come on, I thought I would have to wait for several days and instead they were here to help me within three hours of my phone call. I highly recommend them to others. If giving out gold stars they would definately get one.

When I purchased the air conditioning and heating unit from them I liked the fact in the very beginning that there was no hard sell. They provided answers to all of my questions and their estimate was fair, so I hired them and they did the work. They were courteous and I was very pleased with the work they did and so I have them come twice a year to do maintenance, once in the spring and once in the fall. I would definitely recommend their company.

They did a timely job. They did what they said they were going to do. They got the heater installed in the amount of time they said they would do it. The heater has been working fine ever since.

The folks at Allianz were fantastic. While giving us a quote to replace our unit (which died on one of the hottest days of the year) Martin attempted to get our old AC going so we wouldn't be without. When that didn't work, he had another tech come by the next day to give it a try with a different part. When that was unsuccessful, he loaned us a portable AC unit to get us by until they could do the install. They were booked up being the middle of summer and we ended up waiting 2 weeks to get it done. I didn't think this was unreasonable considering the time of the year. The loaner portable AC was big enough to keep one room cool which was a real life saver when it hit 110. The install itself took 2 days which also seemed reasonable considering the amount of work that had to be done and the fact that the attic is unbearable after about 2 pm. Everyone was clean, courteous and professional. When they left, everything was as clean as when they arrived and the new AC is purring away. This is our second house that we have used Allainz on and I have not been disappointed. They truly do go above and beyond to meet customer satisfaction.

Once we accepted the bid, they completed the work within a day. The new furnace is running just fine now.

I think I just hunted them up out of the Yellow Pages. It was good service, but nothing exceptional I would think.
