Our experience goes beyond excellent. From the first call (with a gentlemen whose name I can't recall) to final delivery, the service was top-notch. The rep who I initially spoke with was friendly, informative, and very helpful. We also needed our piano moved fairly quickly and Affordable was able to accommodate. Everything went exactly to schedule. Someone called us the day before to let us know the time window when the movers would come. And 45 minutes before the movers arrived - they also called. (They were right on time.) Danny and Ivan - our movers - were amazing. Consummate professionals (and really nice guys), who really knew how to negotiate our heavy Yamaha down a steep flight of stairs out of our old house. I must say it was very impressive watching them move the piano. And they handled the piano extremely carefully at every step. At our new house, they had a real challenge. They had to get the piano up an L-shaped staircase - with light sconces on the wall. It took them an hour to do it, but they made it up the flight without a scratch to either the piano or our walls. They also made the helpful suggestion that we get special pads under the feet/rollers of the piano so that we wouldn't scratch our new hardwood floor (an additional $35, but well worth it). They also advised us how to move the piano around the room, so that we wouldn't damage it. We have used many folks on Angie's List - and have been extremely pleased overall. But Affordable Piano Movers - I must say - is at the top of our list. Thanks, guys!

We chose Affordable Piano Movers because they were the most highly rated on Angie's List. Their quote was $99 flat for a move of an upright (console) piano and bench from Long Beach to Santa Ana. The gentlemen were on time--in fact, they were *too* prompt; the person meeting them at the pick-up location hadn't arrived yet. However, Affordable's men kept in contact with us on cell phone and were able to wait until she was able to get there. The whole thing went fairly quickly. When the gentlemen arrived, they noticed our hardwood floor and suggested plastic cups for the piano wheels. We hadn't had the chance to get them ahead of time, and the gentlemen were able to sell them to us; it saved us a trip to the hardware store, so we were grateful. We gave the gentlemen a trip because they were professional, they moved the piano without harm to the instrument or to anything else, they waited until the pick-up contact was able to arrive, and they helped us move the patio furniture that obstructed the pathway. We don't anticipate having another piano move anytime soon, but if we do, we will use Affordable again.

They did a great job of moving our upright piano. They called the evening before to coordinate the pickup and delivery (we bought the piano from a friend). On the day of delivery, they called to let us know that they would be a few minutes late. They were friendly and moved the piano right where we asked. We would definitely use their services again.

They were prompt and professional. While it was very scary for me to see that piano going up our staircase, it was quite evident they knew what they were doing. They were careful, took their time, and asked me to show them exactly where I wanted the piano to be placed. I was surprised to find splinters in my carpet at the top of the stairs -- which I vacuumed up pretty easily. Company does not take personal checks.

They were punctual and very professional. They took extreme care to make sure they did not damage the piano or bump into any furniture or walls. I would hire them again!!

Excelent, Affordable, polite, professional and very careful. They know what they are doing and do it well. They were running a little late (maybe 25 minutes late) but called and let us know well ahead of time. Very pleased with their service and would highly recommend them. I moved pianos and organ when in high school and college and it is hard work that requires as much expertise as strength. Excellent operation.

I have a love for pianos and like to "switch them out" every once in a while. I have used Affordable Piano Movers 5 times in the past 3 months for 2 baby grands, 1 full size grand and an upright and they are just the best! Frank who handles the phones and initial contact is great to work with, they always call a day before to confirm a 2 hour window for the pick up time and their crews are very professional, courteous and super careful, but FAST! They really know what they are doing! I have used 2 other piano moving companies in the past that were a total disaster, so I am confident that this company is really your best choice in Orange County!

The company was professional on the phone as they quoted $99 for each move, i.e., they moved the piano from the living room to the dining room 1 day before the carpet was replaced, then returned 2 days later to move it back, for a total of $198. That was the lowest quote we received even though it was a very short move. The movers were careful, professional and prompt.

Prompt response to voicemail. Reasonable quote. Available next day, as advertised. Arrived 15 minutes early. Calm, graceful and highly professional. Friendly. Took terrific care of my piano. Brilliant. Charge was as quoted. Done in under and hour.

No problems whatsoever. I had to reschedule date--company was very accommodating.
