Move went well. The guys from Affordable Piano were late arriving (they give a two-hour window) and apologized. The downside of the appointment was I was given a middle time slot (12:30pm to 2:30 pm), combined with the tardiness, meant that the entire day was centered around this move. Allow ample time for this process. The gentlemen who provided this service were friendly and professional and took every precaution to assure no damage occurred.

Everything went just as stated when I agreed to this move. On time, quick and careful. Both movers were professional and friendly. Placed piano in exact location I wanted at destination. All for a quite reasonable cost, nearly half of another quote I got.

Affordable Piano Movers & Storage moved an upright piano for me into a new home and up difficult stairs with a hair-pin turn. This was NOT an easy task and they did an excellent job, were on time, courteous and professional, and got the piano moved in gently to its new home on the second floor. Highly recommend hiring them if you need a piano moved!

It went very well. Kevin (one of the two movers) kept me updated at all stages of the move as to when they would arrive, and also let me know when and why they were delayed (a combination of unusual traffic for a Saturday and a customer not being home at a scheduled time put them a half-hour behind). I appreciated the communication and I especially appreciated the great care they took with the piano, and that they answered all my questions and were super-helpful. The best part--they took such good care of the piano when they moved it that it arrived still in tune and ready to play! :)

The piano was fine, but communication was lacking, and costs were higher than expected.

They were good.? They were very good.? The price was a little higher because it was only a mile from there to here so I think $100 was a little too much.? Professionalism was good, very good.? I would use again if they give a better price. It was less than 30 minutes so the price I think was high.? Everything else was good other than price.? It should depend on distance, that's what I mean.? If the distance is like a mile or 2 it should be like $75.

It went well. They were on time and protected the piano very carefully. They could have used a third person with the steps. The team were very knowledgeable about pianos and gave me information on protecting my piano from the dampness at the beach. I will call them to install a warmer.

Great. I am in the piano business of tuning, repair, buying and selling pianos. I have used Affordable Piano Movers exclusively for over 10 years. They always provide excellent experience and service and go out of their way to make every move happen flawlessly.

Called Frank 2 days before target date. Affordable was able to accommodate preferred delivery date and times. Frank was very easy to work with - friendly, responsive to all my questions and requests and accessible. The pickup and delivery went very smoothly.

It was a tight squeeze to get the piano up the condo's tight U-turn stairs but they did it! All the guys were super nice and very careful.

Super friendly. Careful to not damage doorways or steps when moving. Knew how to handle the delicate upright piano. Strong arms! Charged a flat fee plus variable fee for # of steps they had to navigate. (First 3 steps are free, each additional is $10). They charged a small additional fee for the piano also being a player piano... Which I didn't realize added a lot more weight. They used a roller cart, padding, wooden planks and their considerable muscles to do a great job, on time. All in all, they were very much worth the value for the haul from I-8/Waring Rd to the very tip of point Loma.

I highly recommend these movers. They were very careful removing the piano from our former home with marble floors to our new (smaller) home. The took off the legs, wrapped the piano in padding and put it on a special dolly to move it to the truck. At the new location, they reassembled the piano, placed it just where I wanted it. They are very professional and knowledgeable about pianos.
