+ -1 moreBack in July I had Steve the owner come by and give me an estimate. I did not get around to the actual cleaning until yesterday (Nov 1). Ideally one would want their carpet cleaned early in the morning however, the only time available (because I did not call far enough in advance) was between 2 and 4 pm. Daniel was my cleaner and he called at about 2 pm to tell me that he most likely would not arrive until 4 pm. He arrived right a 4 pm and immediately began working. I definately would use this service again.
Description of Work: Three rooms downstairs, stairs (14) and a large bedroom and hall upstairs. Two rooms had very bad spots.

+ 0 moreOverall, I am satisfied. They arrived with two men and two trucks so they were both working the entire time. They spent several hours and I didn't feel they were rushed to leave.
Description of Work: I chose Steve's for an estimate because they were an accepted vendor of my large HOA. Steve answered my email for an estimate promptly. He fit me into his schedule so the date worked out nicely for me. His two trucks were late but we did get a telephone call that they were tied up on another job longer than they had anticipated. When they arrived, they got to work and said the two of them would handle all the furniture moving. They were polite and handled my special requests like cleaning the carpet under my bed really well because of my animals. I have 24" ceramic tiles throughout my kitchen and living room that I didn't think they were too dirty other than some of the high traffic spots. After they were done with the tile, it was quite clean. Surprisingly there were a couple of spots on the tile they worked on and wouldn't come clean, I don't know what I spilled but that was disappointing. I did have them seal all the grout. They were able to test the grout to see if it had sealer on/in it. I had it sealed 5 years ago when I had it installed but their test indicated it had no current protection. Overall, the carpet, tile and couches came out nice. With all I had done, I felt it was a fair price.

+ -1 moreWent well. They were expedient, efficient and professional. They appeared knowledgeable regarding carpet types and appropriate treatments. They worked in a team of two. Was happy with the result but it took a bit longer than they said to dry. The weather was not warm that day.

After inspecting the areas that I had described over the phone, they reduced the charge by $30. The carpets look like new, there are no bulges or ripples, and they quickly dried. I highly recommend them.

+ -1 moreAwesome customer service. They guy was so honest and really good at explaning and telling us his opinion and what he thought would be our best course of action. I actually learned quite a bit about carpet and will defintiely be calling them for all my carpet and tile needs
Description of Work: We had them come in to clean our rug that had been pee'd on repeatedly by multiple dogs (not just our own). He showed us the damage and explained the process and cost and was very honest and upfront about the whole thing. We decided to hold off on the cleaning and look into buying a new rug but anytime we need carpet cleaning I will be calling them. We also got an estimate on cleaning our grout that was very reasonable and we will be getting some sometime soon.

The upholstery wasn't real dirty - I just wanted them freshened up, and they accomodated my request, even though they told me spending the extra money wasn't necessary! I was shocked by their honesty. Very detail oriented and clean.

Smith's Desert Carpet Cleaning was not only very professional but very knowledgable about the products used to do the cleaning.
