Payless Handyman

Description of Work: I noticed that my dad was having problems getting his new walker up to our front door. I sent Payless Handyman a text asking about the pricing of a ramp to the front door. They responded quickly saying one made of wood might last 2 years and one made of concrete would out last all of us. Meanwhile my spouse and dad found some medal ramps on the internet and they decided this was the way to fix this issue. I still plan to contact Payless Handy for some other home repairs once I get my tax refund.

Description of Work: Fixed the shower faucet patched some holes

Description of Work: Drywall repair was done perfectly. Service was excellent. I had a time crunch and work was done on time as promised.

Description of Work: He did not get the job. Although his ad says he was willing to travel to Corona, he quoted us (over the phone) a ridiculously high amount. Three times what Home Depot charged us to install a prehung French door. We were looking for a handy man to do several small projects around the house. We are still looking. Disappointed with Angie's list.

Description of Work: Repaired damaged dry wall

Description of Work: I called to ask him about trimming 8 interior doors since they're rubbing on our new carpet. He told me that the distance from him would force him to charge us more than he is comfortable with, so he suggested I find someone closer so I could save alot of money. what an honest guy! also, he gave me some pointers on doing it myself since I told him that I might just do them on my own. He spent about five minutes giving me tips and tricks to doing the job right. I'd probably hire him in the future for a larger job where the transportation cost wouldn't be as much of an impact as with this small job.

Description of Work: On 8/9/12 my warehouse manager contacted Les about a few various minor projects our shop needed performed. Les asked that we send some info on the projects via e-mail which my manager did in detail along with attached photos. Les said he would get back with a quote when he received the info. No response on Thursday 8/9/12, no big deal as it was the same day. Manager called Friday 8/10/12 twice, once in the morning once in the afternoon and left a message to call us back as we wanted to move on the fixes asap, again no response. No messages were left from Les at the office through the weekend of 8/11-8/12. Monday 8/13/12 rolled around and again no response. We have moved on. I understand busy as I run a company but what I have never had any patience with was No Response. My time and my employees time is very valuable and all we ask is to know where we stand with a contractor, I give no excuses or leeway for lack of communication ever which is why I feel strongly about taking the time out of my busy morning to give a review on the customer service provided.
