LA Rocque Better Roofs

We were satisfied with the services and the work. I thought they did the job quickly and it looks good. They cleaned up well afterwards. I'm pleased with the work. The only thing I didn't like was that they missed the first date that they had proposed to do the work however there was a significant wind storm that had just occurred and I think that delayed them.

I made an appointment for an estimate. Mr. Henderson arrived at the date and time agreed on. Mr. Henderson gave me his card. I explained the job to Mr. Henderson. Mr. Henderson talked to me about a rock roof. Mr. Henderson then told me he would email an estimate to me and he began to examine the work area. Mr. Henderson left about 15 to 20 minutes later and I never heard from him or the company again.

One team came out the first morning and removed all old materials in less than another. Second team came out the same day and replaced bad wood. Project was held up a couple of days waiting for the city inspector, but following this the roofing team worked one long day and completed everything.

They came out and gave us an estimate. They did a good job, but I still got other quotes. The other people that came told us right away that our roof was pretty good and we wouldn't even need a new roof for another 7-10 years. All we needed was a repair on the portion that was leaking and the diamond line edging just needed a tune up.

Their price was a little on the high side. It was $1600. They were punctual. Before they left, they cleaned everything up. They made sure everything was done right. Their followup was good. I would use them again in the future if needed.

I really liked them. They were very professional. They took pictures of what they were going to fix and it was whole kind of portfolio of what needed to be done and how much it would cost. So I really liked that. The work was done in a timely manner and I was really happy with that. I liked that they were very professional and just that they took pictures to show what they were doing. I did recommend them to one of my friend.

The price was reasonable and the work was well done. Workers were professional and thorough. The only negative was with the communication. They were not proactive in letting us know when they would be on-site. Some work had to be rescheduled due to weather but there was no communication as to when they would return.

I went to the company to ask questions and understand the processes that It would take to install a roof. All my questions were answered and I was given additional information I didn't know to ask. I was very satisfied with this company and I would recommend then to anyone who needed a roof.

Great job and I would recommend LaRocque Roofing every time. Demo started one day, roof was on in a couple of days, Hardly any trash was left (staples continue to pop up in my back yard) The reality was that the leak in the roof was really due to the glazing in the skylights. After I complained about my roof still leaking (10 months+ after completion of the job) the project manager came out at least two more times over the next year to investigate (loved this!) He eventually did tests to determine that the leak problem was the skylights and had his guys apply window glazing after a year of hearing me complain about the leaks. I appreciated his patience and continuing to work with me even when it turned out not to be the roofing. B rating on responsiveness was partially me as I called frequently so I probably made it onto the 'Pest' list.

Did a good job although contract was a little hard too understand to determine final cost since condition of sheet plywood under roof could not be pre-determined .

He came out, and did the walk through. He did all the measurements. He was good. We haven't received the price yet. When my husband talked to him, he was out here within two days. His punctuality was excellent.

They responded to my inquiry the next day. The estimate was complete, professional, and extremely thorough. It included a diagram of the areas they were going to fix which was very helpful. They started earlier in the day than they indicated (which was fine). Paid in cash and received additional 10% discount. Would definitely hire them again.

I spent about $1497 on that service. The job was pretty good and I got through with talking with them yesterday because they were supposed to send me the invoice when the job was completed. I had to call the office and I finally got it in the mail today. Another thing was that they were supposed to give me 24 hours advance notice before coming out to work. Instead, they called me at 6:30 in the morning to find out if it was okay to come that day. They said that they called someone else by mistate to give advance notice so they felt it was okay to call at 6:30 a.m. on the day they wanted to work. I felt that they should have waited and made the appointment for another day instead of trying to come in on the day that they messed up.

They had a fairly reasonable price and they are doing what they said they would do. I can’t think of anything that they need to improve upon. They are very professional and I like them.

Actually there wasn't enough water damage to replace any wood. In the end they just added tiles where tiles had been blown off or cracked. We needed someone to plug the holes in the roof. We were worried that there might have been some water damage. They did the work, and it turned out fine. My wife and mother-in-law were not home when the work was done. What impressed them was that the estimate was very comprehensive. They made a map of all the problem areas that they were going to fix. There were other companies that were cheaper, but they felt that this one was the most professional.

A person came out to inspect. He then gave me a very detailed estimate. I did not follow through with them. I did not choose them because I got a better estimate from another company.

The work was performed in a very professional manner.

It was a positive experience and they've done a great job of following up to see if we need anymore assistance.

They did a great job for me. They were very nice people. They did exactly what they said they were going to do. I did not have any complaints at all. They were very professional. I used to be a general contractor myself, so I know that they did a very good job. I would recommend them to my family and friends. The price they charged me was very reasonable.

We found them on Angie's List and I saw other positive customer reviews. They were close by, friendly and made you feel comfortable. They went up on the roof to assess the situation and took pictures which I really appreciated. They drew up a diagram of pictures to go over the situation. From there we decided to have the work done. There haven't been any leaks afterward and they showed us pictures of the finished work. They showed us a lot of documentation and they had a whole portfolio with letters of recommendation. They were very professional and I felt like the price was reasonable. I would definitely hire them back if I needed to.

How did it go? According to Hoyle. Estimator arrived as scheduled. Company set up a work date mutually agreeable and kept the date & time [!] Workers showed up as booked, promptly did the work and cleaned up after themselves. I am frequently dissatisfied with contractors performance but this job was the exact opposite.

All of the company representatives were friendly and helpful. They provided three detailed quotes for varying levels of repair. The estimator was running a few minutes late for the appointment to look at the roof, but he called well ahead of time and arrived promptly at the new time. The quotes explained the work in detail and they were very forthcoming with answers to our questions about the options. The work crew arrived promptly every day and, except for a brief weather delay met the detailed schedule specified in the quote. All of the work materials were stored neatly and out of the way during the job and at the end of each day all of the debris was removed. I was surprised that the entire job caused no inconvenience or disruption at all. At the completion of the job they literally left no sign of having been there except for the repaired roof. The only odd thing was that when the job was complete, they gave no indication that they were finished; they just disappeared. The roof looked finished and all of the materials were gone, so I called a few days later to confirm that they were done and to pay them. The roof looks good and in the three heavy rains since the repair it has worked well too.

They came to our house and did an estimate for us. We were happy with the price, went to their office to select the color for the new roof. They honored the 5% discount offered from Angies list. They began the job on time as promised, it was completed on time and the clean up was exceptional.

They are wonderful and I love their service. The pricing is very reasonable.
