LA Rocque Better Roofs

We have had 4 roof repairs in the past 2 years. They were by far the best roofers. We have had 3 roofers out and they were the best so we have had them out twice. We have some kind of leak. It never rains here so you get a roof repair done and it doesn't rain for a year or two so you don't know if it is fixed or not. At any rate we had major rains here, and suddenly there was water coming in under the flooring around the fire place and the door. It has ruined the floor. We didn't know exactly where the water was coming in from. It was the chimney sweep who identified what he thought was some of the issues. When LA Rocque came out they advised on some things that we think might resolve the problem and we did re roofing all around the chimney, so we will see. I am pretty confident that they were both trouble shooters trying to figure out the problem and where they leak was coming from. They say they come at a certain time. They were actually a half of an hour early. They are clean, they pick up after themselves. You can just see the work, it is very very good. It was exactly what they quoted.

Very well. They gave a quote and scheduled time and met both exactly. It hasn't rained since but I believe they have fixed it. Workmanship looked very good and their clean up was excellent

LA Rocque would take pictures, provide recommendations, and always worked to provide 110% of the expected value for their services. In speaking with our representative, it was a very professional and intelligent discussion. The areas where I had questions were answered in full detail and examples of other units with similar problems were used to identify the risk of not executing the work as discussed. I would highly recommend their services.

Supervisor came back next day to inspect and get my impression of the work. Their performance is a gold standard for their competition to catch up to.

I can't fault their work. The new roof looks great and doesn't leak at all. They did arrive very late on tear off day; as I understand it another job went long and then the truck developed a problem. They had two trucks and a large crew here at the end of the day to get back on track. They let my spouse know what was happening as they worked. I have an add on room I didn't have them do, as part of this job. When I am ready and have the funds; I will call them for that job as well. I asked around and checked Angie's list and they came well recommended. LA Rocque Better Roofs does good work in a generally timely manner, and the new roof is a great improvement.

The company was very accommodating. They scheduled the appointment and kept in constant contact until the job was completed.

At first great, we were satisfied with there pricing, but when it came time to giving me the tile I picked out on the sample board, Shelby couldn't comprehend that I wanted that specific color, he kept bringing me different tiles that I think were cheaper than what I was quoted for in the price. Its like he was trying to pawn off a cheaper product after telling me the kind of tile I liked was what the quote was for. He would tell me "oh I don't know where that sample board is, I might of thrown it out?" Then I said to him that his attitude doesn't seem like he really wants the job, and that I will hire somebody else. Just very strange in how he responds to direct questions, and when asked what the specifics are, he likes to say Oh well then I'll need more guys and then I'll have to charge more. blah blah blah.... I wouldn't use this company, and if you do just don't use Shelby. He wasn't all there in the personality dept.

Responsive front office providing phone and email information. Brian Henderson, Estimator, is knowledgeable about his product and took time to discuss options available to restore the integrity of a roof on a 85 year old, architecturally distinct house in a designated historic neighborhood. He took measurements, surveyed the roof and took photographs. His promised assessment and proposal arrived a few days later. Several proposals are being considered, but La Rocque is a serious contender because the proposal and contract provides a step-by-step sequence of events and the timeline is reasonable.

Good quality work and very professional

It went very well. As mentioned above, I initially got a rough estimate of the repair costs from La Rocque based on some photos our home inspector took. This quickie estimate was important to me, because at that stage I needed to know ASAP whether this was a big costly deal, or just a routine repair job. Some roofers might not want to give a rough estimate based on photos, so I was grateful when La Rocque accommodated us on this. After the house purchase was completed, they sent a man out to give a more detailed estimate. His estimate was consistent with the quickie estimate they initially gave me. Soon after that, they did the actual repairs, and they charged me the exact amount of their estimate. I was glad they only charged what they said they would charge. And I was glad they did not try to sell me an entire roofing job. So if I need roofing repairs in the future, I intend to go to this same company again.

I also recommended them to my neighbor. I liked the way they were professional and nice. They did the job great and worked really well. They worked quickly during hot weather and also cleaned up well. Their response was excellent.

This was a great experience from start to finsh. The crew arrived on time. Did a great job cleaning up each day and at the end of the job. I would give all areas an "A" grade except that the painting that was done on the exposed wood on the patio cover is starting to flake. We painted the other exposed wood with a different paint and it is looking just fine.

The work seemed to go well, but there is only one small part of the roof I can actually see on the 2-story property. They were nice and seemed very qualified. They called when the work was done and the project manager called me back after hours to discuss my questions. There was a communication error so they came when I wasn't expecting them (they left a message to tell me they were coming in a couple days but didn't wait to get confirmation back from me...turns out I was out of the country on those few days, without cell service, and didn't get the messages, so it was my fault too). This meant I wasn't there when they did the work, and I was disappointed because I had some questions/requests I wanted to discuss and wanted to ensure the visible parts were completed as requested/discussed. They were good with updating me about weather-related delays, and they came back the next day to address a minor request.

This went very well. They were very nice to work with, did a great job and cleaned up after themselves.

The job went great; really well. I reviewed their website so decided to use them. I give them all A's and will use them again in the future.

They're good. We were happy with what they did and we have no problems. Everything seems to be OK.

A corner of my roof was pounded with strong winds and the shingles were blown away. I got quotes from 2 companies, but the first one seemed not too much interested (maybe it was a small job for them). I contacted LA Rocque and they were very professional! Local forecast indicated that rain was coming within 4 days, so I specifically included in the contract that the repair should be done within 4 days. They accepted my request, were very proactive, and gave me a quote $25 cheaper than the first company. Despite no one was at the house during working hours, they came and repaired my roof as combined. Another guy from the company came one day later to check the final result of the service. They only charge me after this inspection was done. Being a busy couple, we sent the check by mail and worked just fine. I basically solved my roof problem with few phone calls, and everybody was very helpful and cordial on the phone with me! :) I am very happy that LA Rocque provided me not only a great service, but also a great price and worked with me despite being a small job, and my busy schedule. I will definitely use their service in the future!! :)

It couldn't have gone any better. All of their employees are professional and respectful. This is an exellent company with good work ethic. We recommend them highly!

I thought the price was too high, that's why I didn't use them. I didn't get it done at all. They were very slow at getting back to me for the estimate.

I will definitely use them again.

They did a good job, and so far it hasn't paved in with the rain and it's doing okay. The guys who came out were very friendly. If I had a question they answered them, and I was satisfied with it. I don't know the price as my husband dealt with that. I haven't had any problems with the quality of work. Every time we called them they called right back. They were very good about letting us know what time they were going to be showing up, and if they were going to be late they would call or they would let us know. They were definitely professional.

Roof is still leaking at skylights and other locations. Roof tech from LaRoque came and said skylights and nails were the problem. The gentleman 'repaired' the problems, but the roof leaked worse than before. Project mgr Dennis came out and blamed the skylight manufacturer and leaky skylights, had his crew caulk with silicone seal. If we assume the skylights themselves are not leaking, WHY IS MY ROOF STILL LEAKING in the same way and at the same spots as before I had the roof replaced? I've called at least three times requesting someone come out and give me estimates to remove the skylights, fix the roof leaks. I will pay for this service but NO ONE RETURNS MY CALLS. The warranty on this job has long expired and I'm pretty clear they think I'm a nuisance and are disinterested in my business. I will now have to pay for another roof. Does anyone besides me feel like I've been had???

They did a very good job. I give them an "A" overall and I would not hesitate to use them in the future.

We were really pleased with everything that was done. They were very professional. The pricing was better than anyone we had looked at. The price was very fair. The work was excellent. They did everything that they said they were going to. My experience was very positive.

From the very beginning I was impressed by the Keith. He not only arrived on time, but took the extra time needed with me to explain what had to be done to replace the areas in question. His price range was in the upper middle of the 5 quotes that I received for the job. I decided to go with Keith due to the impression I was given that I would not just be "another job." Mty impressions were verified throughout the project. The time required for the job went beyond the estimate due to some unforeseen difficulties. I was always given the impression that it was more important to finish the job to Keith's and to my satisfaction then worrying about the 5 hours more that it would take to do the work. The workmanship that was done is some of the best that I have seen and Keith will be coming back to work on my patio in the near future. I have recommended Bear Flag Construction to several of my neighbors for work that needs to be done on their homes.
