 + 1 moreOur kitchen sink backed up the night before we were to celebrate an engagement party for our daughter at our home. We worked for a couple of hours on it ourselves and cleaned out the trap, etc, but no luck. We called Allison Plumbing early the next morning, and they were able to work us in right away. We had a blockage WAY back 80 feet in our sewer! Ken and his assistant had it cleared up in a short time! It was less than $100 - money well spent! We will definitely use Allison Plumbing again!

 + 1 moreExcellent, same day service. Called office mid-morning explaining the work I needed done. I was told a crew could call and stop by on the way back from a remodel job. I was thinking late afternoon but received a call about 1:30 saying they were on their way. They arrived within 30 minutes; the situation was assessed and I was told the cost would be no more that a service call charge. The job took only a matter of minutes. I couldn't have been more pleased. I've used two other local plumbing companies over the past 25 yrs but lately the quality of service has noticeably dropped off. I'm sold on Allison Plumbling.
Description of Work: Easy fix; replaced shower head and arm to accomodate new hand-held showerhead for elderly, disabled parents.

 + -1 moreThe company offered a Angie's List coupon for a toilet replacement for $250. They provide the new toilet and haul away your old one. Considering a toilet is at least $100 this is a great deal. The model they use is better than a $100 toilet and is very efficient. The job took less than an hour. I was notified of a pretty specific time frame the morning of the job and then received a call 30 minutes prior. I was very impressed with the customer service that Allison Plumbing provides, and they are so friendly and nice. It is a family run business that takes pride in their work and taking care of their customers. I called back the next week with two secondary questions about future work. Ken gave very honest quotes and then solved a problem that I wasn't even planning on solving right then. No coming back later, let's just take care of it. Again, very reasonable price. I have already recommeded the company to two friends. I will use them anytime I have need of a plumber.

My landlord provided the materials, but Ken informed my landlord that it wasn't the right fitting and that it needed something different. My landlord wanted it done and told him to just make it work, but Ken said he wouldn't compromise and that it needed to be done the right way. Ken was very nice and always showed up on time, did exactly what needed to be done and communicated what needed to be done each step of the way. THANK YOU KEN!!!

He didn't need to come inside the house, but he accurately diagnosed the problem with just a few details from us, cleaned the mainline, left no mess in the yard and was gone within 30 minutes. Amazing. Other neighbors have seen him working at my house in the past, so occasionally now, I see him at numbers other neighbors' homes on my same street.
Description of Work: ALLISON PLUMBING cleared the mainline (residential) : Unlike the other plumbers in this area, you get a straight answer, price and an appointment with a reasonalbe window when you call. They don't tell you : "Welllll, we have to have someone come out and look at the sutuation".. (and size you up) ..."before we can give you any kind of an estimate." (BEWARE OF THOSE). They don't leave you hanging and waiting forever..they stay in phone contact with you if he's running just a few minutes behind at another job. They dont have the huge flashy trucks and equipment and a big overhead like most of the other companies. This is a family run operation by honest people who get put there and work and charge a better than fair price. I feel blessed knowing I don't have to worry about this one happy homeowner issue (PLUMBING). "Doug" came out again and rescued our family from another plumbing disaster. We have a very large tree (that we prefer to keep) in the front yard growing near the mainline. Occasionally (regularly) without notice, it's roots plug up with the mainline. As in the past, I can always call Allison Plumbing and get it handled SAME DAY for under a hundred dollars with the work guaranteed, no mess and a smiling friendly knowledgable guy named Doug who lets you watch while he works. I don't like plumbing emergencies, but it always takes the edge off of the situation just knowing that Doug will show up and handle it.

Doug called back in the afternoon and said his schedule opened up and would he want us to come today, so we said ok. Great service there. I could have normally done this job myself, but I was having difficulty removing the old faucet, so we decided to call on professional help. Doug had to resort to a handheld rotary saw but got the old faucet removed. The new faucet is touch activated, and the first one he'd installed, but he did so without a hitch. Everything works peoperly. Extremely fair price for spending almost two hours on what would normally be a 1 hour job. Very happy with their service and would use them again.

 + 0 moreThis was a very pleasant experience. Doug came to our home right on time this morning. We have had an ongoing problem with our kitchen sink backing up due to a sharp turn the drain pipe takes a few feet away from the sink. We have had several different plumbers out over the years. Doug is the first one to ever suggest installing a new trap in the line right under the sink. He charged only an additional $50 to do this and we are extremely pleased. It will now be much easier to clean the drain in the future. He was quick and efficient, finishing the job in an hour. He left my kitchen clean. He also gave us some helpful suggestions. We will definitely call Allison Plumbing for all our plumbing needs.
