Craig is Awesome! the ice maker in my freezer wasn't making ice. I called Craig and he came out the very next day. When he looked at my ice maker he found that the electronic eyes were not working. But, he thought there may have been an additional reason why I was not getting ice. He pulled out the fridge and found that the water flow to the freezer was too low...I was going to need a plumber...instead of charging me for the trip to my house, he put me in touch with a plumber he often works with. The plumber came out the very next day, fixed the water flow problem ( for a Very reasonable price) then called Craig. Craig came right back out, replaced the electric eyes, and never charged for the extra trips. The price for replacing the eyes was Very Reasonable. Craig was honest, helpful, and skilled at his work. I will definitely use AARS again and will recommend them to my friends. Thanks AARS and thanks Angie's List!

The dryer was making a terrible racket and then stopped heating. I called Craig of AARS and after several back and forth calls, we scheduled a day and time. Craig came on schedule and immediately made a good impression by introducing himself to the family dog! He promptly went to work, located the problem; a dryer fabric sheet stuck in the blower fan and non-functioning rep. coils. He completed the repairs and in addition he cleaned all the lint out of the machine and duct work. Craig was friendly, informative and obviously very competent. I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Called the day before appointment and discussed the fact that the freezer was not defrosting, and made appointment for the following day to have the refrigerator evaluated to see if it would be worth it to repair. Glenn told us how to defrost it and how to get the machine ready. He arrived a little early and got right to work, replaced the defrost board and had the machine back in working order in under an hour. WE also discussed further repairs to the icemaker to be done at a later date. I was very impressed with Glenns knowledge and professionalism, and will continue using AARS in the future. They were great!!

This is the second time that I've used AARS and, as usual, Craig provided the best quality service at a very reasonable price. I scheduled an appointment and at the last minute, I had to cancel due to a previous engagement. Craig squeezed me in his busy schedule and repaired my dishwasher that very same day.

Craig was right on time, had all his tools and my new parts, and went to work straight away. His teenage son was his apprentice, who was very respectful, quiet while soaking up everything Dad explained and showed him, and was obviously very bright. They were both clean, polite, and very personable and professional. I will definately use them again, and recommend them to others without hesitation.

I contacted Craig and told him that my dishwasher's motor was sounding louder than usual. After trading several texts where he looked up info on my model dishwasher & preordered the part that normally fails, we scheduled the appointment. (If the part is not needed, he will return it). The service call was 39.00 & I had a 10.00 off coupon. I actually referred him to my daughter even before he worked for me because I felt good about his answers . Craig did repair her dishwasher and then came to my house. He is on time, flexible with scheduling, courteous & a great guy. Very personable. As it turns out, he found nothing to fix. The part he brought with him was not needed, as the existing one looked good. The problem may turn out to be the motor unit itself, which he noticed was a little looser than normal, but if that goes out, he said I would be better off buying a new model. Who does that? He didn't replace a part unnecessarily, and didn't set me up to spend money on future repairs. I couldn't be more pleased!

They were very professional. They took time to make sure they had everything they needed before even coming out to take a look at the ice maker. He was very knowledgeable and was true to his word with the price that he quoted. I will diffidently contact them again for any appliance I need fixing.

I first reported the problem with my double-wall Thermador oven on April 13, 2014 to First American Warranty. I could not get both ovens to work at the same time or heat to the proper temperature when they were working. After two missed appointment windows, the provider's technician could not make a proper diagnosis and requested a second opinion from his company. One additional missed appointment window later and a technician indicated that it needed a new board. Apparentlythey could not find this part in existence and the board needed to be rebuilt. This required an additional two and a half weeks to be removed, sent out and rebuilt and reinstalled. Upon using the oven for the first time after the rebuilt board was installed, I discovered that the initial problem as reported still existed. So it has been over 6 weeks, over six appointments windows (at three hours each) -- including the three they missed, and my oven is still not working properly. I first reported the washing machine issue to First American Home Warranty on May 9th. The spin cycle was not working properly and that clothes were still wet following the cycle. The technician came on May 14th and indicated that it needed a new transmission. That part was installed today, May 23, 2014. Upon using the washing machine for the first time after the install of the new transmission this evening, my washing machine did not stop filling with water. Something has been broken within the machine that stops the fill sensor from working, and water kept going into the machine and overflowed into the laundry room. As I was not home at the time, this completely flooded my laundry room. So now, I have an entirely new issue with my washing machine, one that was not present until the technician came to "fix" my washer, and I am dealing with secondary damage from the flood in my laundry room and in the neighboring parts of the house. DO NOT USE THIS PROVIDER FOR ANY REPAIR!!! IF YOU ARE ASSIGNED THIS PROVIDER BY A HOME WARRANTY COMPANY, PLEASE LEARN FROM MY EXPERIENCE AND REFUSE SERVICE FROM THEM AND REQUEST A DIFFERENT PROVIDER. In addition to missing multiple appointments, never returning phone calls, and keeping you on hold when you call to check in with the status of the repair (I was once left on hold for 35 minutes), this provider clearly does not know how to fix ANY appliance -- as both repairs to my oven and my washing machine did not work and in fact caused additional problems/made existing issues worse.

Craig of AARS Appliance Repair in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, worked on solving my leaking problem. After dismantling the washer and running several tests to determine where the leaking was coming from, determined that the water pump was the cause. He had to order the part, since my Maytag Washer is over 30 years old, and returned with the part on Saturday of the same week. I have used Craig of AARS to repair my oven and just as before he is the best. Professional, personable, knows what he is doing, and does not attempt to work on something he is not schooled in or has no knowledge of. He is great and trustworthy and that is so important to us. Definitely recommend him and I will call again when any other of my ancient appliances act up.

Came with the parts on his second trip, got it fixed and no more leaking.

They were quick, professional, but a little on the pricey side. They did provide $10 off for first time customer.

He did very good work ,and Graig was very helpful on what he did ,and what was needed to be done. I glad I call him for the repairs. He disassemble all covers , heat defrosted coils ,and replace with new defrosted heat.- ran new plastic water tub line to freezer door. reinstall everything back ,and made sure it all worked.

Our washing machine was leaking water into the tub. He diagnosed it over the phone. He had the part and came the next day. He replaced the valve and also the hoses. Great job!

They are reasonably priced and they are very courteous. They are family owned and I was so pleased with the service.

Craig took it apart completely and cleaned it out. He replaced a broken part. He initially thought he would have to come back to fix the broken part but realized he had the part on his truck and could make the repair same day.He was excellent, on time, and very knowledgeable. Craig even remembered coming out previously to repair my oven, which I had forgotten about. This will be the only company I will call in the future for appliance repair.

My oven had been out of commission for several years, so finally decided to find an appliance repair person to determine what the problem was and hopefully fix the oven. By checking on Angies List, I found AARS Appliance Repair close by the house, which I called and scheduled an appointment. Craig arrived in the window he indicated. He quickly determined what the problem was once I described what the oven was doing/not doing. Took Craig an hour or so to take the oven apart, replace the igniter and make sure it worked. I also asked him the check the burners, since I was having some problems with three of them. He removed all the burners, cleaned them out and all is good with my old stove. He charged me $129.00 for parts and labor, which I thought was very reasonable, plus I received my Angies List 10% discount. While he was here, I asked if he could check my clothes washer, and if necessary, he could return another time to work on the washer. I do have some leaks appearing on the floor, but of course it was not leaking at the time Craig was here. I am monitoring the washer for a future call. And yes I do recommend AARS Appliance Repair to anyone in need of appliance repair, and in fact, I passed his name onto a friend.

I was concerned that I would have to replace my dishwasher as it was not operating. Prior to making the service call, the owner advised what the blinking light on the machine indicated, suggested possible fixes and asked that I call back if the suggestion didn't work. When I called he told me he would order the part that seemed needed and would make a service call as soon as it arrived. He came out, fixed the machine without using the part ordered. I was given a warranty for 90 days parts and 30 days labor. I am yet another very happy customer of AARS Appliance Repair Service and plan to become a steady customer. You don't need to have your service man become your best friend but it is most helpful when the professional is pleasant, friendly and most of all competent. This family owned business definitely deserves the A rating given.

My husband had called them in the AM with no response by 11am. I got impatient, called another repair company and they came out and said they had to order the part and would be approx. 350.00 and 3 business days before it could be fixed. In the mean time AARS called back the next day and said that is too much we will charge approx. 169.00 and can have it done today. They came that same day, were prompt and fixed my washing machine. I will use AARS from now on, and know that they will call back.
