This went PERFECTLY! The young men phoned if it was okay if they showed up early (yes it was OKAY). They came in and took care of all of my needs in a quick and professional manner. I was very pleased!!! I scored a little low on the price because I had to pay for two hours of work and they were only at my house for maybe 30 minutes -- I think this is a standard but I still have to whine about it. :)

Professional at every point of contact. Efficient, hard working, and they know their stuff. They arrived on time for loading and unloading, communicated well with us throughout the process and delivered on every agreement and promise they made. Very friendly and polite, on top of all of that! We would definitely use their services again!

It went very well. We have found only one thing chipped....We have not found all items, but we have not unpacked all the boxes.

This would have been a good review, but it came down to how much longer than expected (re: more expensive) it took to move a 2 bedroom apartment. We had boxed up everything except pictures (~15), TVs (3), and were moving about 1 mile from Cortez Hill to East Village. I believe the move started about 9 a.m., and we first started getting a little worried when it was getting to be about noon and we were still moving out of the old apartment. Then I was confused if I needed to provide them lunch, or if they would have their own, I felt like we were moving slower because everyone was hungry. We did end up ordering pizza for the movers to eat, around 1-2 pm. After everything was finished it was fairly late (evening), and it ended up being more than an 8 hour job, and we owed $1529. The guys were very nice and professional, and nothing was damaged but if I'm comparing this to previous moves there's no way I think moving a 2 bed apartment 10 blocks should take that long and cost that much. Lessons learned from this was: Pack up all our pictures beforehand, and don't go to the cheapest hourly labor rate, because you may just end up paying for more hours.

The moving crew were very professional, polite, and took great care with our furniture and goods. Nothing was broken or lost to my knowledge in the course of the move. Value - However, it seemed like it took a very long time to load the truck. It took about 5 hours to pack pictures (~8), tvs (3), and load the truck. Starting at 8 AM, we didn't even get to the new location until 2 PM. We purchased lunch for them and they ate at 2, so maybe their blood sugar was low and they were moving sluggish for the previous few hours. If that's the case I'm not sure why they didn't bring snacks or a lunch, and ask to eat at 11 or so when they were still packing. We didn't finish until about 5 or 6 PM, meaning we paid for ~9-10 hours of labor. I've moved 7 times in the past 5 years, and all the other times have taken no more than 5 - 7 hours, even over longer distances. We ended up paying ~$1500 to move 1 mile, I don't think that's a good value. TLDR - Moving crew were great, but took much longer than expected so we ended up paying much more than expected. Not a good value in that case and would not use again.

With a 4 day period I had a chance to observe two different movers - Reliable Delivery and another. In my opinion there was no comparison. RD outranked the other company in several ways. RD padded the front door so it wouldn't get scratched, etc. The pads they used on the furniture were plusher, and the manner in which they wrapped included every chair foot. Each foot was covered and then secured in place with plastic. Lastly, they were very conscientious about placing the furniture correctly at the new destination. Again, this furniture went only 90 miles in one day. The other furniture packed by the other company went to Montana. Heaven only knows what shape that will be in. Thank you Daniel, Aaron, and Ryan for making this move as easy as possible.

PERFECT! Reliable Delivery moved my furniture from a storage unit into an apartment in La Jolla. The next day they helped me move the remaining items I had in storage into a smaller unit. The team consisting of Gary, Derry, Steve and Aaron (and a few others since I used them for two days) were absolutely amazing. I decided to use Reliable Delivery after I had used another moving company that shall remain nameless who caused me lots of money, extra work, time, and broken and lost items. (I negotiated a partial refund from that company with the promise that I wouldn't leave a bad review.) I had initially hired the other company based on a very high rating on Angie's List. I was mortified by that company's work ethics. So, when a few days later needed movers for another day's work, I was thrilled and grateful to the service and professionalism of everyone I encountered at Reliable Delivery. You can rest assured that they will handle your property with the uttermost care. The team actually re-wrapped furniture that the previous movers had not done properly. I'm grateful that I have found an honest and reliable company and will use them in the fall when I most likely will move again. They handled my furniture with gloves, re-wrapped furniture, moved my property with care, were great communicators who actually listened carefully to my instructions and then followed them to my satisfaction, they were polite and in every way kind. They moved efficiently and carefully. They are everything you would want from a moving company. The company handled all communications from beginning to end in a quick and efficient manner. The fees were agreed upon up-front, and there were no surprises.

After the trucks were loaded they moved so additional items from upstairs to the ground floor for easy pick up by charity. Once at the new house they moved quickly and got everything moved in and reassembled in just a few hours. A couple of doors had to be removed and replaced, no problem there. No damage to the house or our stuff. These guys are great. Highly recommend them. I hope to never have to move again but would definitely call these guys first.

We had tons of furniture ; a grandfather clock, 2 Empire sofas, bookcases, a dining room set, a "bachelor" chest, 2 credenzas, etc. All had to be moved into a 2nd floor apt. that is only accessible by a circular "winding" staircase. When I contacted Daniel Parascand through Angie's list, he said that they specialized in moving into places that other movers perhaps could not. The three young men who moved us, Seth, Tom and Derry were impeccable, professional, determined and sturdy. All of which made for an excellent move. My trepidations about moving removed, I HIGHLY recommend Reliable Delivery to anyone. The value is Well worth it. Thank you Daniel & Co.!

The owner, Daniel, responded quickly to my Angieslist purchase. He answered all my questions and was very polite. He and his crew showed up on time and were prepared to help us do last minute packing. They loaded and un-loaded the truck carefully. Nothing was broken. We were not sure where to place all our furniture, so they made suggestions and were very patient and helpful. It was a very smooth move. I would definitely use their services again.

They were OK. They were a little rough with my furniture. We saw them throwing a chair inside the truck and I didn't appreciate that. They got the job done, when I realized that I had forgotten one piece, I asked them if they would go back for it and they were going to charge me extra. I only had 20 minutes left, so I told them to forget it. I wasn't really happy. The price was good. They were slow but overall, they did the work. They were late and I was expecting some other people. I had to call them a couple of times and they gave me a two hour window. They made me late to something else. I would not call them again.

The movers were late but they made up for it by being very helpful and patient. We were moving items out of the house for storage and rearranging heavy furniture in the house. The guys were very patient while we decided where we wanted the furniture and then proceeded to rearrange multiple times.

The move went very well. They showed up on time and moved everything efficiently. The "clock" started when they left their location and, as they had predicted in prior conversations, they would need three hours to move me. Their estimate was correct so I had to pay an add'l $100 for the extra hour. Still not bad ($249) for a local move. I would use them again.

Everything went well. The movers were on time as well as professional and fast. The only thing that caught me off guard was the overage charge. I knew that it would cost extra for anything overthe set time, but i guess I didnt read the fine print. the 2hour time limit started when they left there warehouse to get to my storage and because it was morning work traffic it took them 30 minutes to get to my storage. They were not late, I just didnt account for that time.

Showed up on time and immediately got to work. Moved furniture from storage and to my house within two hours time.

It went excellent. The owner and team were awesome. They were on-time and did an awesome job. It cost me a little more than estimated but no complaints. I would use them again.

Daniel and his assistant Marlon came to my rescue, and did a wonderful job. I shall definitely call them again if I need anything moved, and I highly recommend them. This was a very small job, but they treated it as if it were just as important as any large one. I had a very large, heavy cabinet delivered to my garage, but I was powerless to move it any farther, as it weighs almost 200 lbs. I called Reliable Delivery on Friday afternoon, June 5. Daniel said he would be at my house the next morning, and he and Marlon arrived at the exact time promised. They carried the cabinet to the room in the back of my house where I wanted it to go, and then Daniel spent at least 30 min. installing the wheeled casters on the bottom of the cabinet. This would have taken me days to do, and then I would not have been able to turn the cabinet upright, as it is too heavy for me. I cannot totally express my gratitude for such prompt, friendly, and efficient service.

It went very smooth. The crew had a Great attitude. It sure helps......because who likes moving! They treated everything like it was their own and we appreciated the care they took with our belongings. Great company and we will definitely use them again. My household had been stored from a previous move 2 1/2 months earlier with reliable delivery. First move went so smoothly. Moving as we know is very difficult but this company reduced my stress greatly. They arrived on time with a great attitude. I had a few odds and ends that had not been packed yet and I was feeling panicked. Daniel grabbed boxes and finished packing the last few items for me. When bringing my furniture and boxes into the new house they were so,so patient with me while I was trying to decide where things were going. I never felt pressure or hurry up mode from any of them. They took such care of all that I owned. A wonderful group. I do not hesitate in recommending reliable delivery. Daniel is such an honest and reliable young man. m.guest

Despite the job being on the smaller side, they were very accommodating, punctual and friendly. I had called a few places and ended up using this company because they didn't require us to pay for more time than we would need. It was easy and seamless with their online registration and everyone involved was nice, friendly and careful. They were genuinely concerned that everything was handled and that we were satisfied. We would definitely recommend them to others and will use them in the future!
