The first phone call was a bit abrupt but in the end I was more than pleased with the service and price.

Matt and Catherine at Sierra Mobile Screen Service are a pleasure to deal with. Retractable screens are a bit of an investment and I wasn't sure who to turn to for service. I contacted Sierra Mobile Screen Service by email and received an immediate response from Catherine giving me the website of the manufacturer of the retractable screens they install. She then requested approximate sizes of the window openings and was able to give me a quote. Their prices are very fair. We then set up an appointment for Matt to come by and measure the windows. Matt was very helpful and took the time to remove the old screens to ensure his measurements were accurate. As promised, ten (10) days later Matt was back to install the retractable screens. He is a perfectionist. He was extremely generous and rescreened three (3) standard window screens for free.

Very quick and friendly scheduling. Matt came out the day after the call and had the door fixed within a half hour. Looks great and gave me a great recommendation on a screen door for a set of French doors. We will always use Sierra for screen work. This is our second very positive experience!

I'm writing this review on my wife's behalf. We recently bought a home in Torrance. Strangely enough, the previous owners of 18 years never had screens for any of the windows or sliding glass doors. After researching several vendors, we decided to go with Sierra given the many accolades about their service and the quality of their products. My wife contacted Catherine (Matt's office manager) to inquire about prices and procedure regarding 12 window screens and 4 sliding screen doors. She was extremely pleasant and informative, and their prices were extremely reasonable. Windows up to 3'x5' are a fixed price. We weren't sure if we wanted gray or white frames, but she said Matt could come out with samples of both, as well as a few different screen types (black, grey or privacy). Our appointment was set up for October 4, two days before our scheduled move-in date. Matt (owner/contractor) arrived with his work van which served double-duty as his workshop, after the awning was opened. He was great to work with!! He made detailed measurements of all windows/doors, and then suggested we go with white frames. He then created the 12 window screens on the spot and installed them!! He said it would take a few days for the screen doors to be created, which wasn't an issue with us. This past Saturday, he installed the 4 screen doors. As a bonus, he upgraded privacy screens on one window and one screen door in the master bedroom and bathroom for free that had a clear view of our neighbors. We recommend Sierra highly - thanks again, Matt and Catherine!!! A+!

Called in the morning, received an immediate quote for rescreening a sliding door, and got 'same day’ service from Matt. He rescreened the door in just 15 minutes. While reinstalling he noticed a slight discoloration in part of the screen and immediately screened it again. Afterwards he lubricated all sliding glass and screen doors. Job start to finish was 30 minutes --- just in time for a house showing that afternoon. Highly recommended

Matt was a pleasure to work with. We found him through Angie's List and he was punctual and professional as many of the other reviewers have commented. We found his prices very reasonable. We especially appreciated having such an experienced installer build and install screens for all of our irregularly sized windows. Would definitely recommend him to friends.

I really like that they dont take up room space. He is punctual and pleasant to be around. He does not overcharge. If a repair is necessary he responds quickly.

Matt from Sierra came out to measure my rear kitchen door for the custom install because the door opening is 95" high. The price Katherine quoted me over the phone was the exact price that I was charged - that is always a good thing! Matt said it would take 10 to 14 working days to have the door manufactured and shipped. It was installed right within that 10 day window! It took him all of 30 minutes to install the door. The door operates cleanly and smoothly. The best thing about this door is that it will keep the nasty flies out of my house while helping me not to run the A/C during the summer months! Sierra Mobile Screen Service is fair, honest, and professional. I would absolutely use them again in the future!

Matt was punctual, and he did a great job. The screens he put in are much better than the ones we had before--not so flimsy and much easier to remove for cleaning. Matt takes pride in his work--and it shows. I would totally recommend him if your main interest is high quality work and and materials.

Matt from Sierra Mobile Screen Service provides an incredible service. He was able to build 19 perfectly sized/colored window screens for my house. (While he could have repaired some of the existing screens, I asked him to build completely new ones.) He custom built and installed all of the screens within a few hours and did all the work himself. He even numbered and labeled all of the window screens to ensure that there would be no mix up if the screens were ever removed (so that I can tell which screen goes with which window). He removed all the old hardware, latches, nails, etc. and even cleaned all the window sills and frames. He also saved me the trouble of having to deal with the old screens by offering to dispose of them himself. Matt is truly passionate about his business and I would highly recommend Sierra Mobile Screen Service.

From start to finish this was a great company to work with. Catherine was amazing over the phone and via email in helping schedule a time, as well as explaining to me what the costs potentially could be. When they showed up to do the work he realized that each window was a different size and took down the measurements so that he could provide the exact size screens that I needed and then installed them on another day. The whole experience with them was amazing, from their attention to detail to the professionalism.

He was a very nice man and did a great job. He was very efficient and will be looking to use him in the future. He was personable and friendly. The doors look nice. The pricing was also reasonable.

Lar year Sierra Mobile Screen came to my home to replace the screen on a kitchen sliding door. The owner (I forgot his name), set up an appointment for the next day, arrived promptly, replaced the screen and adjusted the slider which had not been moving easily on the track. Today he came to replace the screen on another slider. One phone call was all it took. The work was done well, promptly, and the price was as quoted on the phone. I would definitely use this company again.

Matthew showed up on time, was very friendly and seemed honest. He was professional and did what he said he would do and charged me what he said he would charge. He repaired sliding door and window screens on site; also ordered and subsequently installed new screens for French Doors..... Looks great. Office staff very pleasant. Super Job. Thanks.

Called Sierra Mobile Screens to replace a few missing screens. It happened that they were going to be in our neighborhood the next day and they said they would come by for an estimate. They came on time, the price was very good, and within an hour we had our new, custom made screens. It couldn't have been an easier process. We will be replacing all of our screens in the near future and we will absolutely be using Sierra Mobile Screens.

A wonderful experience. Matt was finishing a job nearby and came directly over. He quickly assessed the problem screens and gave me an estimate. 2 of the window screens were the metal type of mesh and had corroded. Matt replaced these with fiberglass screening. One of the sliding door screens required that a deck board be removed to get the screen out of the track. Matt did this at no additional cost. He also sprayed all the tracks with silicone and replaced a broken wheel. I highly recommend this company and added at no additional charge, Matt is a delightful guy.

To say I was impressed would be an understatement. First of all, Matt checked out the property even before we met for him to do the job. On the day of the job, he was right on time and had pre-made most of the required screens. We found additional screens that needed replacement and he put them together remarkably fast. He went out of his way by also freeing up the windows that had been painted shut. The duplex is old (built in 1948) and the new screens fit right in with the old woodwork. He was fast, professional, did a fantastic job, the price was right, and I would, without question, contact Sierra Mobile Screen Service again.

Catherine in the office was a pleasure to deal with. Matt came exactly on schedule at the promised hour. I was expecting that he would need to build a whole new screen door for me, but he worked diligently to repair my old door. This involved riveting the corners to add strength, replacing the top rollers from his big supply of used parts that he carries on his truck, and then expertly rescreening the door. My old door is now working perfectly again and is good for years of additional use. I would give this company a rating of A+ if that was available - they are very competent and good to deal with in every way. I think anyone needing screen work can feel totally comfortable in choosing this company for the work.

Our dog had scratched and finally punched through a large screen door. Sierra Mobile had high Angie's List reviews, so I called them. They gave me an estimate over the phone, and made an appointment for the next morning. Their technician showed up on time with his truck that is a mobile workshop. He promptly fixed the screen, and then lubricated the tracks of all three sliding doors that face our rear patio -- including the two he didn't work on. He was friendly and polite. There were no surprises, no extra expenses. Just some bonus help! Highly recommended!
