An acquaintance of mine had recommended another mobile screen service but they had mixed online reviews. So I went on Angie's List and found the excellent reviews for Sierra Mobile and decided to give them a call. And I'm so glad I did. Catherine was very pleasant over the phone and answered all my questions and offered to send out samples of the frames and screens. This was so helpful so I could see what my choices were ahead of time. I then called back to schedule an appointment which I was able to get in a few days. Matt actually arrived a little early on the day of the appointment and went right to work. He set up his mobile truck and did all the work on the premises. Because my home is older and has gone through a few stages of remodel, some of the windows were of odd sizes and shapes and had unusual moldings. He made the screens for the newer windows in a flash, but the older ones required more work and some ingenuity. But Matt perservered and was able to figure out a way to install the screens on those peculiar windows. So the job took much longer than it should have, but he didn't charge me any extra over what Catherine quoted me over the phone. I haven't had screens on my home in many years because I have never liked the look. But because it's been almost impossible to keep the windows open lately without an invasion of flies and bugs, I decided it was time for some window screens. I was prepared not to like them, and was ordering them out of necessity. Well, Matt did such a great job of installing them and they are such nice quality that I actually liked them and even asked him to do an additonal window that I hadn't planned on doing. The white aluminum frame is very high quality and looks great with the white trim on my house. And he helped me decide between the grey or charcoal screen. I chose grey because you can hardly see it when it's installed. And while he was here, I ordered a retractable screen for one of my doors that opens to a balcony. I didn't do any comparison shopping because I had such a great experience with Matt putting up my screens, I know his price is fair and that he'll do a great job. Matt and Catherine were both great to work with and are very nice, friendly people. So if you need screens, give them a call! I recommend Sierra Mobile Screens without hesitation.

Service was punctual, prompt, and professional. Our house was built in 1921 and none of the the large windows are actually square. Sierra Mobile was able to make, fit, and refit the windows and completed all the work within 3 hours. I thought it'd take a whole day and was pleasantly surprised. Very happy customer and will hire again!

Excellent. Matt arrived on time, was professional, neat, and did the job quickly. I wanted pet screen due to my cat trying to catch bugs through the screens occasionally. However, they don't use pet screen, instead they use a sun screen that not only filters the sun but is pet proof. It appears to be sturdy stuff and provides somewhat of a privacy screen too. Love the change it made to my old tired screens. Thank you!

I contacted Matt late afternoon yesterday and the very next morning he was able to drop by and perform the repairs. He performed a simple replacement of the handle part which he had already on hand, and was done in less in a half hour but not before lubricating the screen doors for good measure. Matt performed the initial installation of the doors for us a little less than 2 years ago, and except for the handle failure, the screens performed flawlessly. Very pleased with his prompt response to this issue and would definitely hire again for future screen door needs.

Everything they have done looks amazing! There are two corgi's here that used to be able to break the screens. The screens that he put in are strong and the pets don't even try to go through them! The screens look great and also keep the rooms cooler than before. They also replaced the cheap frames and made everything look the way it should. They are great at scheduling and working with your schedule. They are always on time, polite, clean and they do GREAT WORK! The prices are amazing! We were please with the communication, the work, the quality and the price.

It went well. When he arrived we evaluated the screens together and he replaced the torn and worn screens on site that day. It took him several hours to do the work.

It went extremely well. Matt arrived on time., and was very courteous. He estimated the job. The price was fair. Matt works very fast. and completed the job within a few hours. He's a craftsman. I will definitely invite him back in the future. He is a pleasure to do business with.

We had Sierra Screens reweave our screens last July, and they did a wonderful job. At that time, we knew we needed a new screen door for the back patio, but wanted to delay getting one until we had installed a doggie door. When we called in early May about ordering a new screen door, the appointment was made for Matt to come and measure. He brought the door back a week later. He had to design it with special screws, to allow it to fit into the frame, which was uneven, and brought special molding to fit it exactly against the doggie door, so there was no gap. He did a wonderful job, was on time, and did the job for the agreed upon price. I would definitely have Sierra Screens again, and recommend them to all of my neighbors.

Matt showed up at the scheduled time and worked with me to figure out the options for repairing my broken screens and dealing with the screens in the rest of our house that are getting old and need replacement. He didn't try to sell me on anything, did the repairs (very fast and well), and I will use him to replace all the screens the next time I we paint the house (he recommended waiting - which I appreciated).

How did it go? Wonderful! Matt showed up on time and discussed with me my options. We had just repainted our entire triplex and re-landscaped as well. The old screens really stood out afterwards?and not in a good way. Matt came in and showed me my options, recommending a white frame. To cut to the chase?he did a wonderful, professional job and has a friendly, customer-service oriented attitude. The screens look great and we are VERY HAPPY. He did the work on site and didn't have enough screening material with him because we have oversized windows. He returned to finish when he said he would and replaced 25 screens in all.

Matt saved me about $300 by repairing some of the bent aluminum frames instead of replacing them with new aluminum. He put new screens in the windows that needed them and built new frames/screens for the ones that were beyond repair. The original quote on the phone was $700 but once he got to the house and realized I was a renter, and was just securing the damaged windows for our cats, he figured out ways to save us money by not completely replacing all the windows. I thoroughly enjoyed working with him, he is a true craftsman and is very accommodating. Our house is in the hills and he managed to park his work truck in a tight space and also directed traffic around the truck as cars passed, which was a stress reliever for me. I'm not sure about the two negative reviews I read - it seems like those people had fluke encounters or have entitled LA attitudes (?). Matt did joke with me about the steep stairs and pain in the butt parking in the hills, but it was certainly a wry sense of humor and not complaining at all. We joked and talked with him the whole time (when he wasn't building the screens) and had a lovely experience. Kathryn was also very pleasant on the phone and called back twice, instead of relying on voice mail to reach me. She patiently listened to what I needed then spoke with Matt then called back with my estimate. I was wrong about the size of the windows but he adjusted once on site. I really like that they are a small business and take pride in their work. After he was done installing the screens, he walked around the house with me and asked me to inspect everything. When I asked him to put a few extra clasps in to be extra secure, he did it without hesitation or attitude. I would definitely use Sierra Mobile Screens again and highly recommend them to anyone who wants a job done right the first time by someone who loves his job and takes pride in his work. Matt at Sierra Mobile Screen Service was a pleasure to work with. He is very professional and skilled. He custom makes the screens right in his truck onsite so fit and installation are accurate and done the same day. The screens are of high quality with choices of screen tint and frame color. This was the second time I've used Sierra Mobile Screen Service. Matt replaced all the screens in the front of my house because my dog had ripped a big hole in one of them. He installed a thicker screen that protects my sofa from sun damage and one that my dog can't rip again. Matt is very professional and his prices are very reasonable. He's honest, too! I asked him to replace the screen on my slider because it was coming out of the frame and I thought it wasn't good. He told me that he would fix it instead because the screen was still good?and he did it for free! He installed a rollaway screen door on my front door. I love it!! It looks so nice and neat! I've been referring him to all my friends and and family! It is refreshing to find someone who is honest, professional and down to earth!!

We love Sierra Mobile Screen. We'll be using them for all our future screen work. After the first screen repair company we called pushed our appointment twice and then failed to return calls, we looked on Angie's list and called Sierra Mobile Screens. we should have checked Angie's list the first time. Sierra Mobile Screen's customer service was pleasant, informative, and helpful. Their prices were competitive, and they were available as soon as we were ready to schedule. They arrived on time, and efficiently, quickly and cheerfully repaired or replaced screens in 9 windows and 2 sliding doors. Since we are planning to install new windows in the next year or so, Sierra Mobile Screen was happy to recommend some options to reduce costs by repairing screens instead of replacing wherever possible. When installing the new and repaired screens, they also corrected several deficiencies in the previous installations and upgraded our fasteners at no additional cost. Now all our screens not only fit tightly, the entire window is now properly sealed and supported by the installed screens. The improvement in quality of the new screens over the old is obvious. The next time we need screens, Sierra Mobile Screen will be our first call.

Perfect. From the very beginning call to book the estimate through the delivery and installation every detail was perfect. Matthew and Kathryn were very professional, timely and had a very high quality product. Installation was painless with great care taken to make sure I was happy with the outcome. Highly reccommend.

It'd be hard to be any happier with a service provider. I'm so happy, in fact, that I sat down to write this review before the new screens are installed, because I am just flabbergasted by the service provided. I am fully confident I will be 100% satisfied with the screens when installed, and if not I'll make a note on this review, but I can't imagine there would be any issue. Fixing a door at no charge when you could just as easily gouge a sucker like me for $250? Now that's service. Thanks, Sierra Mobile Screen!

The couple that runs this company is delightful. It was easy to make an appointment (though be sure to call as much in advance as possible, they book up quickly in the summer months.) He arrived on time, and finished his quality work quickly. We would definitely use them again.
