+ 0 moreIt went well. He arrived on time the day of the estimate and measurement. He measured all the doors twice and explained to me how the screens worked. He gave me a fair price and I paid half in advance. On his second visit he apologized for being 10 minutes late (pretty normal on-time for LA mornings). He installed all the screen doors and instructed me on how to use them. He is very proud of his work and sets himself a high standard.
Description of Work: He installed rollaway screen doors in the front door, back door, double french doors and back house door. He had come a week earlier to measure all the doors. He arrived on time both days and was careful to measure and install exactly.

+ -1 moreMatt was an extraordinarily professional contractor. He came exactly on time and provided us options for screens. He then ordered the specific part (baskets) he needed, and came back the following week to finish the job. He created the screens right on site (using his mobile workshop on his truck) and perfectly installed the screens within 1 hour. He was quick, efficient, and really pleasant to talk to. If you have big or small screen job, I would say Sierra Mobile should be your first call.
Description of Work: 1. Constructed 2 custom window screens with baskets (to allow access to window opening/closing mechanism) for our bathroom.

+ -1 moreSierra Mobile was on time, finished the job in 2 hours and the screens look great. He even re-screened 2 small screens for me (free of charge) that needed it that I forgot to mention. He was very friendly and explained everything to me. He not only made them right there at his truck but he also installed them with new hardware for us and made sure they were sturdy as we own cats and the cats can sometimes push the screens out. Overall, I am very happy and will use them in the future.

He showed up right on time, fully equipped, and ready to tackle the job. His truck is a mobile workshop you have to see to believe! He is a real professional who works very quickly and carefully. I will heartily recommend him to anyone.
Description of Work: He built 4 new window screens which are in every way superior to the ones they replaced. He re-screened and essentially re-built an existing wooden screen door that was loose and coming apart.

He is very easy to work with and provides excelent suggestions. He is very knowledgeable on his trade. He never tries to push you on items that you do not need. Even thought the conditions were very windy he hung in there and did the job and didnt charge anything extra. He even did the screens and sliding glass doors. He is always equiped for the job. He was an absolute pleasure to work with. I would highly recomend him to anyone.

+ -1 moreI called Matt on Monday to inquire about the screens. He scheduled an appointment for Tuesday morning. He showed up right on time and since we liked the price, he went to work right away. Within the next two hours we had new window screens and the screen door had been repaired. Also, there was a little issue with the screen door handle which Matt fixed for no charge. I would definitely use Matt in the future for any screen related issues.

+ -1 moreIt went great. If I had known his business existed--and what good work he did--I would have had him take care of this years ago instead of being compelled to call by a raccoon who flung himself against one of the screens and tore a gash in it!
Description of Work: Matt replaced the horrid old screens on a horrid old porch that had been build (badly) in the 50's. I had thought it wouldn't even be possible. He not only put in the new screens, but he did a beautiful job, and it seemed to me he worked amazingly fast, although he was frustrated that it took him more time than usual since the whole thing was so badly put together in the first place.

Description of Work: I called Sierra Mobile Screen Service because they had recieved excellent ratings on "Angies List". I needed 3 new screens and one screen door - paito slider, for my condo. Mat responded promptly and gave me a ball park figure over the phone assuming I needed new screens and not repairs. I thought the price sounded more than fair. He came out on a Sunday to accomodate my schedule and assessed my needs. He came out the following Sunday and installed 3 new window screens and the patio screen. door. He worked hard and fast. He went beyond the call of duty. He actually removed heavy thermal windows so that I could wash them. I would have had to hire a company to wash my 2nd floor windows without his help. Mat may not have invented customer service, but he has perfected it. By the way, his products are top of the line as well. If I could rate the abeve as A++ I would. I will be recommending Sierra Mobile Screen Service at the next HOA meeting as well as to other friends and neighbors.

+ -1 moreSUPER! Matt was punctual, walked the job with me, and set up for work immediately. All his tools & materials are in his truck/van, which is set up for him to work from right on site. He uses high quality materials, and his years of experience speak for the quality inherent in his work. The screens were all done within 2 hrs, and each fit its window perfectly; Matt also numbers each screen for its respective window, and marks the top & bottom of each screen so if they're taken down for cleaning, you can orient it correctly when you put it back in. After such a positive experience with on-site screen service, I would never again schlep screens to a hardware store for repair if I didn't have to; I'd call Matt again in a heartbeat, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him highly to others.
Description of Work: We needed 9 all-new window screens, new mesh for 3 screens, and new mesh on a door screen.

I accept his offer and he was here Saturday Oct 2nd, did all the doors, check everything. He clean up everything, took all the damaged doors and window and I am very happy with quality and honestly.

Description of Work: Matthew did all of the screens for our house when we moved in April, 2007. He did an amazing job at a very reasonable price. Our kids constantly pushing on the screen door, finally did it in and it needed a quick repair...just some hardware. + -1 moreThe sliding screen doors leading from our dining room to the patio were continually coming out of allignment, not meeting properly in the center and falling down. Matt arrived on time and immediately determined that the 2 screen had been incorrectly installed. The price included replacement of a few parts that were defective including a wheel, the weather stripping, one of the door screens, and a small part of the locking mechanism. The window screen was a simple fix. In the process of straightening the frame he installed a romoval tab to make screen romoval easier. The work was completed in one hour, on the spot, with all necessary parts in his truck. Matt was professional, courtious, and instructive. We will definitely call him again for any screen service we might need.
Description of Work: Repaired the two sliding screen doors that connect our dining room to the patio - alligned them for correct meeting in the center, installed new weather stripping in both, replaced the screen in one of them, replaced a wheel in the other, installed a part in the locking mechanism to make it work. Squirted the tracks with silicon spray for smooth movement. Repaired a window screen - straightened the frame and installed a removing tab.

His work looks really really good and, considering that he has expertise I don't have, I'm very glad I got in touch with them. Matt was very glad to hear that I had found him on Angie's List and he stated a couple of times how important a resource the list is for his company. Definitely recommend.
