It was a good job. It wasn't a big deal but this could have been avoided if a drop cloth had been put down. However, the gate still looks good. All and all I was satisfied with his work.

Weld new hinges on gate door as the originals had broken because they were improperly mounted in the first place.

After years of wear and weathering my driveway gates were badly in need of replacement. Since they are custom gates I needed to find someone who could fabricate the pieces rather than repair the existing one, and being football season I needed it done in a hurry. It was hard to find anyone who was willing to work around my schedule rather than me having to wait around wasting a day for them to come to me but just like it said, he was available "25/7" and he pleasantly accommodated my request to come after 7. He arrived punctually, early, in fact - I arrived home to find him sitting in his van parked curbside. I showed him the gate which he then gave a very thorough inspection, to not only the obvious issues but walking around it on both sides and opening and closing it. I waited to hear his (inflated) assessment of the damage and the cost to replace them but was instead quite surprised when he returned and suggested replacing and restoring just the damaged portions rather than the entire gate, which I did not even know was an option. He explained how those parts could be cut off and restored and if needed, recreated and/or replaced to perfectly match the original hardware, cutting down on both time and cost. Naturally I enthusiastically agreed to this and he then proceeded right then to perform those services both expertly and efficiently, and ultimately completed it at $7.00 UNDER his original estimate -- unreal! And as a bonus - he even removed the surface rust and replaced the rusty hinges for free.If you need any, ANY work done to any steel, metal, heck - even foil stuff around your house, don't hesitate. Call this guy. Greg. You won't be sorry. Great work AND great worker!

I had a dog door installed, but the outer mesh security door needed to be cut out and framed. Glen(?) called because they were going to be a little late which was fine with me. They cut the whole out of the door and welded a frame. It took a little over an hour. I had to leave before they were done, but when I check the next day, there was a slight gap on top and bottom and the mesh needed to be secured. I called Glen(?) and she was super nice and said they would come back and secure the mesh and cover the gap. It took another hour of work which she didn't charge me for and it came out EXCELLENT. This was their first dog door opening installed in a security door though she said they've made animal cages before. So, I say this was a good experience because ultimately, they did the job to my high standards with super nice service.

Prior to some other major work on our home, we needed to repair portions of a metal spiral staircase that connected our upper living area balcony to the top roof deck. The top step had separated from the roof deck and was rusted through in several places. Some of the staircase railings were also badly rusted. After a larger welding company proved unresponsive, I contacted Greg's smaller operation. He and his assistant spent a long afternoon and early evening getting our staircase back into great shape. The new step and railings look original, and he also painted them to match. We are very pleased and would recommend him to anyone needing metalwork.

The company that had built the gates never responded to our call for help. I found Greg on Angie's List and called, leaving a message. He called back in a few minutes, and, when I explained the problem, said he could come out that afternoon. He arrived with all of the necessary welding equipment in the truck and made the repairs on the spot. On the phone he had estimated the job would cost $150.00 and that is what I was charged.

Originally I called another welder that is listed on Angies. Just as the previous reviewer warned, he was terrible about getting back to me. After a few days, I found Greg on another website and set up an appointment with him. Greg called me a few minutes before the appointed time to inform me that he was caught in traffic. As it turned out, he was only 10 minutes late. He came in, hooked up his equipment and went to work. The work was completed in less than an hour and the staircase is now totally safe. I wish all vendors were as reliable as Greg
