Went great, they showed up on time, were quick with their work and detailed in their explanation of what was going to happen.

Scheduling the appointment went fine. I felt like they didn’t call back with the results as quickly as I had hoped for but gave us the results the next day. Their prices seemed really high and the prices per test seem a high but the technician was very nice and knew his job. They had initially indicated to me that they may have been able to come out the same day but then it stretched into the next day.

The gentleman came by on time, did his work, didn't find any mold in any of the areas that he checked and that was it.

Scheduling the appointment did not go smoothly. The first appointment no one showed up because the company showed the appointment as being for the next day and I couldn't get a hold of anyone. I left them multiple messages. I was there pretty much the entire day waiting on them. I needed to reschedule for the following week. I did find their prices to be high however the technician was very knowledgeable and accommodating.

They did a thorough job and did a good job on all accounts. The technician was on-time came out from 8p-10p. It was after 10pm when he left. He also drove quite a distance in bad traffic to get here, which I appreciated. The results were made available to me in 5 days and I received this within the indicated time-frame. Scheduling was easy and the response from their office was very good. They were easy to work with and I would recommend their services to others.

Jason came out the same day that I called.? He was very professional, informative and I was very comfortable that he was doing my inspection.? I would definitely recommend his services to friends, family and colleagues.

It went well. The technician, who is the owner of the company, was punctual and represented himself in a very professional manner. First he took an air sample directly outside the house and then took air samples at various locations throughout the house for comparrison reasons. He then made small incissions in the wall at various locations throughout the house where mold was thought to be present and inserted a probe into the wall. This was done so that it could be determined if there was any mold inside the walls. Fortunately for us there was no mold anywhere in the house. He then sealed up the holes with caulking and cleaned up all excess material where he had made the small holes. When he was done it was as if he was never there. A few days later we recieved a written detailed report regarding the various tests that were performed and the levels associated with each test. The bottom line was that our house was free of mold and that the air inside the house was just as good if not better than the air outside.

Same Day Mold Testing (from Angie's List) come out and do mold inspection/testing in the house. I was primarily interested in the ceiling in the living room where a roof leak caused discoloration and other damage. The tech/owner(?), Jason Harris, came out. In the living room he got up on a ladder, drilled a small hole in the ceiling drywall near the leak and then inserted a plastic tube attached to a device that samples the air. He also took pictures and made moisture measurements on the surface of the ceiling drywall. He then went around the house and did a visual inspection, taking pictures and making moisture measurements at all of the sinks, places where I had water leaks in the past, etc. I asked him to take samples in the locations of concern too - living room, master bathroom under the sink near the tub, laundry area. He also took outside sample(s) as references. The five samples cost me $75 each for a total of $450, which I paid by check. The inspection was prepaid thru Angie's list (a special) which was $89 charged to my Visa. He was wearing a double-filter gas mask for most of the time he was in the house. He said that he would send a report to me via email and that I would get the lab reports of the air samples by paper mail in something over a week. (The report did come as he said it would.) If there are any problems that need remediation, he said that there are some highly-rated companies on Angie's list. I was happy with all aspects of the inspection and testing - except for the results - which showed the presence of mold in the area of the roof leak. The inspection and testing process took a couple of hours. Jason Harris was a professional. I hired a company to mitigate the mold problem and after the mitigation was complete I rehired Same Day Mold Testing to re-test the area to verify that the mold was gone, i.e. that it was safe to proceed with the drywall repair work. Jason Harris returned to test the living room for mold. He took a sample indoors and a sample outdoors. With one-day turnaround the total cost to me was $265. Results came back when promised He said that it was OK to do the repair work.

Excellent work and service. He was very personable and professional. He was knowledgeable. Results in lab work were reported in a timely manner as promised. He emailed the preliminary results. I would highly recommend him.

I called the company to schedule a mold test. They said that they couldn't schedule an appointment for two weeks because of vacation scheduling. So if you are looking for SAME DAY mold testing, look elsewhere.

I called Same Day Mold Testing and made an appointment for testing at one of my apartment units. On the date and time promised, the tech came in an unmarked vehicle (great idea since I did not want the other tenants knowing what was being done). He explained the procedure outside of the unit. We then contacted the tenant and he performed the tests within the unit. The tech explained each part of the process to me as he was performing the tests. After the testing was completed we went outside and he explained what he had observed and what the subsequent steps would be. As promised, in a few days I received a well written report. A very professional outfit. I hope to not have to use their services again but if the issues arises they will be the first I call.

We just moved into a house we are renting and discovered mold in the garage and under the kitchen sink. Unsatisfied with the responsiveness of the property manager and owner, we decided to get the house tested to make sure it was safe to live in. When we called to schedule, we were impressed because they were able to get someone out the same day. Howard called when he was on his way and arrived on time. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and walked us through his process. He made recommendations on what to test and together we came up with a plan to address our primary and secondary concerns. He called the next day to confirm the results of the 3 samples that were submitted for "next day" and confirmed we would receive the other results along with a full report in 5 business days after the test was submitted. We received a call after five business days confirming some of the results and that they were behind on getting the reports out. It is now NINE business days later and no report. I just called the office and was informed the report is just waiting for the managers sign off. All in all, Howard was great and we appreciated his knowledge and insight, but needless to say, I am not happy with the turn around time in receiving the actual report. I guess if I were in a bind and needed 24 hour results, they would be worth the call - just don't expect the detailed report to come soon after.

Jason was great. He was extraordinary and the best of any of the people I researched. He was educated and thorough. He also had great recommendations and I would use him again.

They arrived promptly and answered every time I called. The prices were competitive and I really liked how I could get my lab results back the next day if I paid $10.00 more for each sample. Fortunately, no mold was detected in the home and their professional results gave us a great peace of mind. I will be going through with the home purchase.

We wanted a mold test when, upon inspection of a property we were hoping to buy, we discovered a lot of chronic water damage and mold growing in some areas. Not good! I needed someone fast. I called Same Day Mold Testing (since I knew I wanted a co. that didn't perform remediation also), and quickly set up an appointment. On the day of our appt Howard, the tester, called 30 minutes ahead of schedule and asked if we wanted to start early as he was in the area already. Nice! He was courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. He performed tests, explaining each one that he was going to do, asking if we wanted x or y type of test and explaining the price differences, etc. We decided to get the surface and air tests for the area; we needed the results ASAP so paid a bit extra for the next day service (for a lower price the lab results come in a week). Well, a few hours later (!!) - Jason called to tell us the results over the phone, as there was indeed the toxic stuff in the unit. His call me enabled us to cancel the appraisal even more quickly (saving $$) and to contact all parties involved. Jason emailed a full set of lab results on paper early next morning for us to give to the seller so that we could bow out of the deal. Great experience (for such a yucky topic)!

. I cannot say enough good things about Jason Harris of Same Day Mold Testing. He is intelligent, knowledgeable & ethical. I hired him to perform mold testing after I had water & mold damage remediated by another company. Jason collected samples & submitted them to an independent lab. He wrote a report which was easy to understand. The test results showed the previous company had not done a thorough job. I discussed with Jason the results of the previous test which came back cleared, & his test results. He then suggested that I hire a third, independent mold tester, which I did. Those results matched Jason's. I presented this to the first company, & they agreed to re-do the project. Jason then came back without charging, & again tested & wrote a report, which found that, at last, there was no longer a mold problem. I believe Jason's integrity & professionalism place his company among the best. I would recommend him without hesitation.

My real estate agents and friends and all told me horror stories of mold companies coming in and scaring the h*** out of you just to get the remediation job. So I picked these guys because they only do the inspections. Therefore they have no reason to try to get you to do remediation that really doesn't need to be done. They came in, spent a couple hours looking everywhere in the house, and then showed me areas with warning signs where we should do further testing. Because there is so much apparent water damage in the house, I probably went overboard doing almost all the tests he recommended. He called the next day with the results - the black gunk was not mold. There were tiny traces of spores in the air but they were minimal and not of the dangerous variety, so he recommended doing nothing further. We were quite relieved. About two days later he sent us a detailed written report.
