I called one Day Mold Testing. The connected me with a service person. After hearing about the type of fungus I found on the wall, he suggested that I call a company that handles mold abatement. He said that the type of fungus would not require more than some initial samples and final testing once the wall had been treated. Following the tearing out of the drywall, remediation and drying process, the technician made an appointment with me and came to inspect the site and take air samples. It was not a long process and was finished in a half an hour. He removed the samples, tested the air and told me to expect the final report no later than the next day. I received a phone call the next day with the news that the testing was negative and the final reconstruction work could be completed.
Description of Work: I discovered mold and fungus growing on a seldom used bathroom wall. There was evidence of a water leak as the walls were very moist.

Everything went smoothly. Technician arrived within the specified time frame. The inspection was not rushed. Samples were taken & lab results were emailed back to me without incident.

As promised in 7 days not only did he e-mail us the test results he sent an explanation of what the test meant and what should be done to correct the problem. He even went so far as to contact people who do this type of work and got us approximate costs for the repair. Without his help we have not had any knowledge of the repair costs. I would highly recommend Jason and will use him again if necessary.
Description of Work: When we called we talked to Jason. He is a very professional yet personable person. Jason came and inspected the property and suggested the tests that should be done. With the property being a rental and knowing the cause of the possible problem he was very cooperative in only doing the tests we requested and didn't push to have every test under the sun done. He said the test results would be done within 7 days and would e-mail us the results.

We thought we had mold since there were stains on the ceiling tiles in our office so we called Same day mold testing to see what kind of mold. It turned out that we didn't have a mold problem at all when the lab report came back. So for those of you worried about mold inspectors telling you that you have a problem when you don't really, I think you're pretty safe with Jason. We would definitely use him again.

Jason was very helpful, professional, responsive, honest and GOOD! We wouldn't definitely hire him again. He actually came out to do a mold inspection for us b/c another company didn't do a good job and charged 5xs more! Jason sent us the report within 24 hours. Same Day Mold is definitely the place to call if you want to get a thorough read out of the mold situation in your house. There are no hidden costs and the service was GREAT!

I had water that came into my basement with heavy rain and soaked the walls. There was a heavy musty smell and I was worried that there was mold in my living area of the garage. I called Jason on a Sunday to see if he could come and test. He was right on time and took time to explain everything he was doing to me. He has been a huge help and I would recommend him to anyone that needs accurate and professional help with a possible mold issue.

Everything went very well. He was late, but apologized and offered a credit for being late, which is rare for any service provider. Engaging his services was quick - a phone call followed up by an email contract. Ater testing he followed up with a phone call and emailed the findings.
Description of Work: Two interior air samples were taken in addition to one surface test. Jason inspected my condo, took some photos, and looked under the sinks. He provided a copy of the mold test results in addition to a letter describing suggested actions.

Jason was very professional. He was able to come out the day after I called him. He tested one specific area and the baselines (which were normal per my research). The report I got listed the "molds" and other measured items in the bathroom area of our house. The report referred to a website that would define the list (hopefully so I could determine if any were bad). But the website did not list the same molds as the report. Since the report had no "warnings" I believe there was no issue. Jason also said he'd call immediately if there was a problem. Jason delivered what he promised.

Same Day Mold Testing helped us out this summer when we were in escrow on a house. Due to the extensive mold Jason's team found (and other circumstances) we pulled out of the house. So when we found ourselves with a signed lease on a new rental and a funny smell I called him again. (Hence the two reports in six months). I explained our concern and budget and Jason was able to come out and inspect the premises. He quickly assured us there we no red flags and the house looked good. We had him take two samples and he called Monday afternoon with the results. The piece of mind he has given us is priceless.

Jason answered my call immediately and scheduled a time to perform the work in less than two hours on a Saturday. He was very professional and efficient in his work. Jason did ask me to retrieve drywall to be tested out of my trash can. I don't blame him for not wanting to dig through my trash and waste time. Jason wrote a helpful report and got it to me on time.

We discovered a water leak coming from our wall, accompanied by a terrible odor. Jason came out the same day and tested two bedrooms. He was professional and knowledgeable, with no pressure to over test. We received the report the next day as promised. Based on the results of that report, we had him come back and test another room, and perform additional tests in the first room. He was flexible with our schedule and gave us discounts on the price of both inspections. The rates were very competitive with a high level of expertise. He was able to answer all of our questions without hesitation and in an informative manner. I would strongly recommend this company and I would not hesitate to use them again.

Jason was very prompt and professional from my first call to him to his visit the next day to his report of the results that very night to following up with us. He explained clearly the process and our options with respect to what/where to test, answered all kinds of questions from us, and allowed us then to choose (we chose less than he recommended in order to save money, which was probably not a great idea but we definitely had full information from him!). He was also prompt with forwarding us the testing results and answering my emailed questions to him. I felt comforted that he wouldn't have any incentive to make the mold problem out to be worse than it was because he doesn't perform the remediation work himself. He does offer to take pictures and forward them to a remediation contractor he approves in order to get a bid for the work that would likely be required, which I found helpful, but he exerted no pressure on us to go with that particular company (which I didn't wind up doing)....

Jason, the owner, is professional, responsive and prompt. I was also very impressed with the inspector who performed the tests. For myself, I've been working with Jason on a case by case plan (depending on the house) to ensure we get what we need w/out testing that may not be necessary for our situation.
Description of Work: We were in escrow on an older house and ensuring a safe, mold free environment for our family. I found Same Day Mold via Angie's list on a Saturday (after our inspector found the mold but was dismissive of the seriousness) and Jason was very responsive over the weekend. His inspector was prompt on Monday, even calling to say he was en route. He spent over an hour at the property doing site inspections, going into crawl spaces (I think) and taking moisture readings in each room. He then gave us a room by room report and his recommendations for testing each room. At that point we knew the problem was quite severe and in hindsight agreed to more tests than we probably needed, but that was unique to our situation/circumstance. We requested the 24 hour turn around and it was prompt and confirmed our decision to pull out of the house. Since then we are still in the market for a house and each time we have put in an offer, I have communicated with Jason about our plans for a mold inspection. He's been very flexible and accommodating as there are certain aspects of his report that are of interest/value to me (i.e. the moisture readings in each room) which may not be to another customer. He was also very accommodating when I requested some testing changes after the inspection.

During the inspection they found some abnormal levels, but it turned out not to be a serious mold problem. They came out on very short notice. I thought they did a professional job and I was satisfied with the results.

Jason Harris of Same Day Mold Testing answers calls directly, is completely professional and responsive. I called at the end of the day on a Thursday after the mold removal crew finished work and didn't even have to wait until Monday for the inspection. His inspector arrived on time on a Saturday morning and got to work immediately. Six hours later Jason called with the results and followed by emailing me a report. His excellent service allowed me to move this project ahead without any delays! I would hire Same Day Mold Testing again and recommend them to anyone.
Description of Work: Our refrigerator leaked and created a mold problem that infected an entire wall. This wall bordered two rooms necessitating the demolition of built-in cabinets, hard wood flooring, granite countertops etc. The containment included a large are in the kitchen as well as the dining room. The mold removal crew worked for 3 days and finished on a Thursday afternoon. I called another another air quality testing company and they could not (would not?) work on a Saturday. I then called Same Day Mold Testing and they were incredibly responsive taking samples and testing the same day, Saturday, so the reconstruction crew could arrive Monday morning!
