Jason was very communicative leading up to the appointment. He was on time, very professional, calm and incredibly thorough. He absolutely put me at ease with my concerns. Jason twice read through a mold testing report I had last month to be absolutely sure what the last guy said. The money I spent with Jason was almost twice what I spent with the other guy but the other guy simply played off my fears (new homeowner, old home) and recommended immediate remediation. Jason clarified the types of mold I have in my house (you have them, too) and told me I might very well be better served in getting a deep house cleaning than total remodel (which is what I've been preparing for). Honestly, he just saved me thousands of dollars. Jason is the kind of guy you pray for in these situations. H***, not only did I pay him but I gave him a bottle of wine!

Jason came out and he was really great. He actually came out the same day.

Jason and assistant took samples of air inside of walls suspected of having water damage. Very quick, clean, professional and courteous. Answered questions and respected specific needs for discretion with tenants who were present. Highly recommend him!

Jason was very polite and took the time to explain everything in full, and I knew nothing about mold to begin with, so he had his work cut out for him. We scheduled a time fairly quickly for him to come and inspect my house and he was prompt and on time. Being a single female, it can be awkward having someone in your home, but I was very comfortable with him. I would highly recommend Jason to anyone needing mold testing done at their house.

Mike was great, very hands on and explained to me how the process worked and what he was looking for and his exact findings.

It was good. He was professional and spent a good amount of time here. We live about 100 miles away from their shop, so he charged us a $25 extra fee for the distance which I thought was reasonable considering gas prices. Also, he got here right on time, but I didn't get his phone call until about two hours later. I felt very bad that I forgot he was coming, but he sat at a local restaurant and did paper work until I connected with him and he didn't charge me extra! He was smart and professional. Seems to have all the right tools. I've never had a mold inspection done before so I didn't know what to expect. We have a room that smelled musty and we thought we had allergies to it. But, he convinced us that it's not really a problem and did show us two areas of concern. But rather than spending $75 each on doing a mold test, he advise that we spend the money on repairs instead which I thought was wise advice.

The work turned out great. They were very comfortable to have in my home and they were pretty easy going. They talked to us, did the work, and explained what they were doing. I thought it was a good experience and I thought they really seemed to know what they are doing. They seemed a lot more competent and knew what was going on compared to a lot of other mold companies I have had in the past.

It was fine. The guy was efficient and described everything he did. He seemed to do as far as I could exactly what they were paid for. The overall experience was satisfactory and I have no complaints. They did what was promised.

They were extremely thorough, very nice, and wonderful to work with. They were right on top of their game.

I thought the price seemed reasonable from the quote. The guy came out and took about 30 minutes. He just walked around and I found it to be overpriced for the work that was done. I didn't find it to be of any benefit. He just came in and kind of looked under the sinks. He supposedly had a meter that tested moisture but I didn't know if it was anything legitimate. He told me he would send a report via email, which he did. It said that everything looked positive and nothing tested back showing signs of anything. It just seemed like it wasn't worth the bucks and I was really disappointed. On their site they say they are actually going to test for mold ad you have to additional fees. It's $75 to test the water and $75 to go into the wall. It states they have a package deal for $225 if you get 3 different lab tests. I wish I had gotten it tested myself and sent it in. Paying $89 for 30 minutes didn't really seem worth it. I didn't see anything legitimate being done and I was really disappointed. I was not happy. The price was way overrated for what I got. He published a rate of $149. He was responsive and emailed me right away. He called and said he would be here by 5 pm and he was here by then. He seemed professional when he came but the actual work wasn?t worth the money.

Jason was very responsive. He came back after the work was done and did another test and everything was fine. I found him to be very accommodating to my schedule and I had lot of confidence in him. He seemed to know his business very well and I trusted him.

The work turned out okay. I guess I just expected I would receive more information than what I did. They did what they said they were going to do. My only frustration was they said they would get back with us within 24 hours. The appointment was at 4pm and I didn’t call them back till 8pm the next night and he was able to tell me everything was okay, there just wasn’t a full report ready, and he did apologize. He came out as soon as he could and was able to fit us in right away. There was a transaction fee for putting the work on a credit card, which would of been nice to know ahead of time.

Good experience. This was an Angie's list "Big Deal" for a whole house inspection for $89. He checked all the areas with water: under the kitchen sink, the laundry area, the bathroom and also a bedroom with a musty smell. He has a moisture sensing meter that detects moisture that might be in the wall. No mold found, but Jason made a few suggestions to avoid possible mold growth such as fixing a leaky shut off valve under our bathroom sink and replacing the old caulking around the faucet that is cracked and allowing water to seep into our vanity. He said the musty smell is common in old homes in Southern Cal with no insulation or moisture barrier under the house, so damp cool air (we live near the coast) comes through the floor and mixes with dust. This can cause a white-ish film on things near the floor such as chair legs and shoes. He also suggested putting hardscape (concrete) around the perimeter of the foundation because having soil next to the house contributes to moisture getting under the house and evaporating into the house through the floors. Needless to say Jason was very helpful. He was prompt and courteous. One thing I didn't do that I regret is having him go under the house, which is an additional charge, as is having any samples sent for testing.

Jason was on time, quick, professional and fair. He came out the day after I called him and saw the mold (it was very obvious) and offered to test it directly as well as the air. I chose the tests I needed and the time I needed the results by - it costs more to get them same day as opposed to within a week. In retrospect, I could have avoided this part - there was no question I had mold and didn't really need an inspector to tell me. He did let me know what kind I had and its level of toxicity, but either way, I needed remediation and could have jumped right to that part. My fault, but I didn't know what was going on at the time. After remediation, he came back (the same afternoon that I called) and tested the air inside all the rooms and outside (for a comparison level) and got the results to me within hours. This cost more but was also more necessary - no one had required me to get certification, but I'd rather spend a few hundred dollars knowing that it's clear than have to go through this again because something was missed. None of it felt cheap, but compared to other contractors I called, he was fair and his work was good and most importantly, he showed up quickly. I could have saved some by skipping the initial testing, but that's not his fault. I hired him and he did his job well.

I bought a Big Deal coupon and forgot about it. Jason e-mailed me to remind me about it (even though presumably he gets paid whether or not I follow through). He did his inspection, and offered a range of suggestions for testing a suspicious area. He e-mailed me a report, which included an estimate he had obtained on my behalf, but no pressure to use that company.

Jason went above and beyond to make sure the job was done right. He even had me to get on my knees to show the mold behind the dishwasher in the kitchen where the previous home inspector missed or never bothered to tell us. Jason was very honest and professional . He even got the mold report back in two days for us. It was like i got a two for one deal. GREAT ,GREAT GUY ! And company... THANKS JASON !!

Jason came out and examined our carpet- he first took measurments that showed that the carpet was now dry (I wasn't sure if it still was holding dampness) and then took three air samples - from the room in question, the other end of the house, and from outside - in order to measure the amount fo mold spores in the air....He explained what he was doing each step of the way and answered all my questions in a way that was easy for me to understand. Jason gets an A+++ for responsiveness and follow-up. For the initial visit, he came same day even though I called him late in the afternoon. Post remediation verification was scheduled at my request on a Friday afternoon. Jason called that evening around 7 with test results since he knew we were anxiously waiting for that info in order to proceed with our next steps. Sample analysis was done at a lab accredited for environmental microbiology, including specifically fungal analysis, (yes, we checked out the lab accreditation) so we trust lab results are accurate. We would without hesitation use Same Day Mold Testing again.

I read the other reviews before calling and they were all outstanding for Jason, and we certainly agree. He is tops and so is his service. We highly recommend you calling Same Day Mold Testing if you have similar needs - mold is nothing to mess around with. We like the fact that he does the testing and not the work. As his website points out, this is an obvious conflict of interest. We just wanted the word from him and got it within three hours of calling. Not every call can have the promptness we received, but if he can do it he will. A+++++

Jason came to perform initial inspection. He was quite punctual, performed the inspection diligently and recommended only the sensible tests be done. Even though he doesn't do any remediation, he can suggest companies to hire. After the mold cleanup, he returned to perform clearance testing. Again, service was prompt, thorough, and efficient. If only all contractors were so professional!

He was very professional. It?s a limited service, he just does the testing, and recommends companies to do removal if you need it. But for what he does, he does it well.

The Inspection went great. Jason was a little late so he gave me a discount from the listed Big Deal price. Jason was very informative and he inspected every corner of every room.

He was very thorough and I would recommend this company again. I believe the money and time was well spent!

Jason is great. No hard sell. Very professional. I elected to do air samples to be thorough but I was not pushed to do so. He spent a couple of hours at our home and was very detailed in how he went about his inspection. All the tests came back normal, so I was not sold on any remediation I didn't need.
