Jason and his assistant were punctual, courteous, and efficient. I appreciated that Jason explained what he was doing and why and made suggestions regarding his tests as he proceeded with his work. Follow-up reports were e-mailed to us in a timely manner along with suggestions for remediation. We will ask Jason to do follow-up testing after remediation. This was a positive experience. I highly recommend Same Day Mold Testing.

I was very glad that I had him come over my house to look at it, otherwise, I might have overlooked the leakage of the faucet and the wet walls around the house, as well as the existing mold in the cabinets. It would cost me a lot if I have not fixed it right away, let alone the health hazard my family might have!Thank you Jason. I would recommend the Same Day Mold Test company to anyone.
Description of Work: I purchased Angies Deal of the Same Day Molding Test because the weird smelling of my house bothered me. Jason Harris, the owner, was very courteous from the moment of making the appointment. He was ahead of the appointed time and was waiting for me. He listened carefully to my concerns and inspected through the entire house. He instantly detected the leaking faucet in my laundry faucet, which already wet the floor and the adjacent walls. He also found the traces of some fungus inside the bathroom cabinets. He also raised the concerns about the flower beds around the entire house ,which may cause the mold problem around the walls as the sprinkler wets them every day. After the inspection,he spent ample time answering all the questions that I had to free my house of the potential/existing fungus problems. He didn't force me The next day, he send me his detailed report of his inspection , including his recommendation of the reliable mold removing company nearby my house.

Jason came out to inspect a property I am in escrow for. He showed up early, completed his inspection quickly and explained his findings and rationale for the recommendations he made for not needing additional testing. I was pleased with how easy it was to work with Jason and I would recommend him to anyone needing a mold inspector.

 + -1 moreMy roof was leaking last rainy season and two bedroom walls were soaked through. I was worried about possible mold so I went on Angie's list and found a " Big Deal" for Same Day Mold Testing. Jason came right on time and did the visual inspection. He did not see any signs of mold. I requested an air test for one bedroom, which he conducted right then. He told me he will get me the results within one week. Jason was very polite and professional. I would recommend his company to anyone worried about mold in their house.

Our mold remediation company offered to have a company with whom they regularly worked perform post-remediation testing. Their price: $625. We wanted a fully-independent evaluation, and did some searching and found this independent company that would also do it for a couple of hundred dollars less...so we contacted them. Jason was great--returned phone calls, used email, worked with the remediation company when the remediation company failed the first round of tests (told them specifically what needed to be done to pass), and worked within our schedule and timetable. Couldn't have asked for better, more responsive, and more thorough assistance. Final report is professional and complete.

I called Jason and I arranged for him to come to the house I was purchasing the following day. There was mold in the ceiling of the garage and my lender would not close on the loan until I had clean mold report. I was under a time crunch and Jason delivered. He told me he would have me the mold report early the following morning and he wasn't lying. The next day I checked my email and I received the mold report from Jason at 2:00 a.m. After the mold remdiation was complete I had to have Jason come back out and do another inspection. I was was very impressed with Jason and recommended him to my parents. They also had a great experience with him.

They did a complete house inspection for mold. We were having a terrible smell in our master bathroom, and couldn't find the source. Their conclusion...no mold!!! It ends up that the problem is some caulking around the shower floor that is apparently interacting with water from the shower and causing a foul odor. So we will have that fixed, rather than having to tear the bathroom apart! It was very refreshing for someone to come out and be honest and not try to generate or force additional testing or work. Thank you Same Day Mold Testing!!

He was very prompt, polite, and efficient. He told me exactly what he was doing, why he was doing it, and once the results came back, he sent a report and we had a follow up discussion. He had suggestions for remediation, which included things we could do ourselves (rather than having to hire someone). I'm very pleased with the service and would use them again.
Description of Work: Jason did an overall inspection of the house and then took samples in three potential problem areas. He followed up a week later with the lab results as well as a full report that included explanations as well as remediation suggestions.

Jason was called to do a mold inspection for a property that I am in the process of purchasing. I had to change the appointment a few times and each time he was very accommodating. He called to let me know that he was going to be running late and ended up arriving shortly after his call. He ended up doing some visual inspection since by the time he arrived the contractor at the house had opened the walls and the doors were opened. So, we could not do an air test or wall samples. However the open ceilings did allow Jason to look inside the walls and no mold was found. I showed him my concern areas and in the ended I didn't do any sample testing at all. Jason was able to assure me from what we were able to see that mold was not an issue. Since we didn't do any testing he charged $50.00 for his time, oil money to drive over to Torrance. As he was getting ready to leave, Jason asked if there were anything I would like him to check. He was helpful and honest!
Description of Work: Visually checked the areas of concern for mold, answered questions, and gave his opinion regarding the property.

Jason Harris was extremely thorough in his inspection of our house, and spent a significant amount of time inspecting every room, including the garage, for signs of water intrusion, moisture, and mold contamination. I would guess that the inspection took from 1.5 hours to 2 hours, including the taking of air samples in three indoor rooms (at our request), and a control sample from outdoors. The results arrived in just over a week, and included the lab test results as well as a cover letter explaining the meaning of the results. We were extremely happy with Jason's level of professionalism, thoroughness, and the seriousness with which he takes his work. He was, at all times, informative, courteous, and discreet in his dealings with us (all valuable assets when someone is inspecting every inch of your home, including your children's rooms, under your bathroom sinks, etc.). We would absolutely use him again if we needed another inspection.
Description of Work: Property inspection for possible mold contamination, including visual inspection of the entire house, moisture testing in areas of known water intrusion and suspected intrusion, and testing of air samples (indoor and outdoor) for various spore types.

Jason was incredibly professional and efficient. He made a thorough visual inspection of each area of the home where mold or fungi might be growing, and then performed several air samples. The overall package was very competitive. I ended up paying more as I requested Jason to perform a few additional air tests in some other rooms as well as take a wall sample from the room that seemed to be the primary location for mold. The resulting report was very thorough and informative, and Jason even included an estimate for repairs and recommended a few contractors that can perform the work. in addition, he informed the recommended contractors of our situation. Overall this was a great experience and I would highly recommend this company to any homeowner that is dealing with a mold infestation.
