They were great and did a pretty good job. They came when they said they were supposed to come and did quality work. I really have no complaints.

.IN SHORT: DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE INCOMPETENT ( DID NOT EVEN HAVE A FLASHLIGHT ON THEM FOR A PLUMBING JOB), DISHONEST, AND WILL OVERCHARGE YOU TO DO A JOB THAT WILL THEN NEED TO BE REDONE BY A COMPETENT PERSON, POINTING YOU( when their work fails) TO THE CONTRACT YOU SIGNED IN WICH IT STATES AT THE BACK, IN SMALL LETTERS THAT THEY ARE NOT LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY OF THE WORK PERFORMED ( AND THEREFORE CANNOT BE SUED) . In long: The two handymen provided by wildredo came to look at the leak and did not even have a flashlight on them ( they had to borrow mine). I followed them as they went upstairs and found the source of the leak as being the upstairs tap. Which needed replacing. So while on the clock, they sent me ( they did not go themselves) to the store with the old tap to get a new one, along with a list of things they needed dry wall, patch, dry wall tape ( none of which they despite the fact that they were warned in advance the problem was a leak in my ceiling). The help at home depot did not identify the tap i presented them with as anything they knew,( home depot normally is so good!) so out of desperation ( the clock is ticking and I am paying) I bought several taps of all shapes and sizes hoping one fit. When i came back , they looked at all the taps and tried of few of them on ( the clock is still ticking) and even borrowed some tools from me. They finally decided that one of them should go to their own? tap place? and get the proper tap ( why did they send me first? the clock is still ticking). once the guy came back, he looked at me as if i was an idiot and ;pointed on the old tap to the faint word "moen". he said, that's what you should have gotten ( So apparently he must have gon e to his place and they must have pointed that out to him, thereby elevating his knowledge to a point where he now wanted to show of his new found knowledge to me- or if he knew this all along, why did he not arm me with this knowledge when sending me off to home depot? Why did he try all the taps that I brought on before admitting none fity? the clock is till ticking). They finally finish the job and present me with a $450 bill NOT INCLUDING THE COST OF MATERIALS ( so about $500) ( the cost of the job and all the waiting and trying to taps, AND making to trips to 2 different stores- ) Long story short.....THEY DID NOT FIX THE LEAK. That's right. after re-plastering the ceiling. The leak continued. so THEY CAME BACK, and this time, replaced a little bit of pipe which they showed me. They showed it to me like they were doing me a great favor not to charge me for this. ( instead of coming with a flashlight and tools and ....materials and doing it right the first time with one trip to the store).....But....Unfortunately for me.....It has taken me a few days to realize that THE LEAK IS STILL THERE. So i am saying good bye to my $500) and hiring another handyman. it should be noted, that the owner of this company came by this morning ( he was supposed to come yesterday...but after not showing up, responded to my call by replying that he was sick....That's right. I had to call and leave a threatening message to get him to come)..SO the owner shows up today...And starts off with ( although it is true , that i forgot to reschedule with the upstairs tenant when he failed to come by yesterday)...That I am wasting his time! (not having a key- and asking him now to return tomorrow) and that if i look at my contract, he is not responsible for any work he provided. And that copper pipe ( search any info on it- copper pipe should last up to 48 years) probably needs to be replaced ( it is 15 years old) and I will have to pay for that. It was very very ugly. hew also said, why should he care? I am not a repeat customer ( also untrue because this is the 3rd time to my house. the first to times were for minor things like a garbage disposal clog and a toilet clog- which they repaired in a reasonable time , at a reasonable price).....So.... In short. I cannot recommend anything but to say, save yourself the money and the heartache. These are not good people.

They did install the vanity and did well. However, they never finished the step work: They did remove the step, but they left a hole in the stucco on the side of our house and told us they would come back to finish later. We paid them in full. After calling them over and over (often, their voicemail is full and unable to leave a message) to have them finish the work, they wouldn't come back because they said they don't remember the job -- we have paperwork. We finally had to have another handyman complete the job. They also only bill in full hour increments, so we have a 30 minute credit with them, which is irritating since they seem to have trouble keeping track of things.

Wilfredo came with his assistant. I showed them what needed to be done and they got right to work. They were neat and clean and checked with me along the way to make sure I was satisfied with what they were doing. They were both very friendly and professional. I have other work I need to get done and intend to call the to return.k

Everything went well. I paid for 2 men for 4 hours of handyman service.They arrived at 10AM and worked a little over the 4 hours. All the repairs were done well. The only thing that could have been improved upon was the cleanup. There were 2 big piles of debris that could have been stacked neatly.

They were fabulous. First of all he was extremely honest. I think he worked more than four hours and charged us for less, which was wonderful. He was just extremely pleasant to work with, helpful, and would drop things and come over when we needed a good look at something else. They were very efficient. We are definitely going to hire them again.

Workers did not allow for traffic relative to scheduled appointment and did not voluntarily call to notify estimated delay. Workers did not have wax rings negotiated with owner, so a trip had to be made to hardware store. Workers did not bring materials to repair plaster (fortunately, I had some) and did a sloppy job of filling holes. Workers did not center sink under mirror--there's no repairing this! In trying not to get in their way, I didn't supervise which was clearly a huge mistake. Workers did not manage time well and put fixtures at risk by assembling toilet outside rather than near the installation site (I disassembled). Although there were two workers, the inefficient use of labor was like having 1.25 workers.

START TO FINISH, IT WENT VERY WELL. HE WAS VERY COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL.

They were a half an hour late. They arrived and seemed to have a hard time responding when I asked their names. I had more than two jobs, but beyond the two jobs, they seemed confused when I outlined the project, so I stuck with what they could understand. I showed them the outlets to be replaced and they were somehow confounded that I had not bought replacement outlets. I had told Wifredo over the phone the work that needed to be done, and somehow these guys didn't realize they'd need materials. Or at least I think so. There were communication issues. They were baffled by me not having the outlets but they had everything they needed. I told them half a dozen times to not leave doors opened because I own cats, and I kept having to ask them not to leave doors opened. They needed to shut down power for the outlet work which was fine, but they kept switching different parts of the house on and off and yelling at each other whether or not the outlet was disabled because they had a hard time remembering what was what. The work was fine, but more could have been done, but I just wanted them out of the house at the end because they were so inept. I will never enlist their help again.

They were prompt, courteous, and professional and kept me informed at each stage of the work. They had to go out to buy adapters (I should have checked this first myself, since I've installed many faucets) as well as remove and reinstall the garbage disposal, so the job ended up costing more than the Groupon coupon, but the additional cost was fair and reasonable. I was very pleased with their work and would definitely use them again.

They were professional, courteous, punctual, friendly and efficient.

Wilfredo and his helper went over and above. They dealt with a stuck handle and had to run for parts a couple of times, but didn't charge any extra for the time. They did a great job and I keep using Wilfredo and his guys.

They did isolate the area with plastic but they did not use a shop vacumn to contain the dust nor did they vacumn at the end of the project. Clean up was left for me to do. The workman forgot the last appointment for the final sanding and it had to be rescheduled. Charges for another client appeared on my final bill, The owner resolved the issue quickly but his workman was expected to collect payment and this resulted in a lenthly and unpleasant conversation between the two of us. It would have been better if the owner returned for collection so that he could have reviewed the work done and taken care of any discrepancies in the bill personally. In my opinion, it should not be the responsibility of the client to evaluate and oversee quality of performance. Overall experience was average, flexibility and responsiveness was excellent.

I sold my Dad's house last year. While in escrow, I realized that according to the home inspection report I had done on the house, there were some things that needed to be brought up to code. I had all possible work completed except for having smoke detectors put in and having the water heater strapped. This slipped my mind of course until escrow. I found EB Specialists on Angie's List so I gave them a call. I spoke to Wilfredo and let him know what needed to be done. He coordinated with my renters and got the job done. He was professional and courteous with them. He did a good job. Mind you, I live about an hour away and was not able to come down to survey the situation, but everything got handled without me there. I was concerned because the renters did not speak English, but Wilfredo was able to convey everything that needed to be done to them. Everything went well according to the renters. Wilfredo worked with me, this being a last minute job. Escrow was closing in a few days and we made it under the wire!

Wilfredo Avelar sent two of his handymen to my 2 bdrm/2 bath 1100 sq. ft condo to replace the existing carpet in the entry door closet with left over laminated floor and to install a dead bolt lock in the main entry door and replace the existing door knob with a locking door knob/handle for the adjacent bedroom. After looking a what needed to be done, they went to buy the quarter-round to close out the floor to wall joint and the locks for the doors. After cutting and installing the hardwood floor and quarter-round in the closet they painted the quarter round with existing white paint to match the rest of the condo. Workmanship was sharp and both closet floor and door locks look great. They arrived at about 2 pm and were finished with the work at about 7:00 pm and did a good job cleaning up the work area so I did not have to do any clean up myself. Cost was less than $400.

Wilfredo arrived on time to my home. I showed him the faucet sets that needed to be replaced. The work took a couple of hours. When the work was completed, I asked to keep the boxes that the new faucets came in so that I could save the information for any future repairs. There didn't seem to be any leaks, so he left my house. About an hour later, I checked the faucets and one was leaking badly under the sink and got the floor wet. I called him to have him come back and explained what was wrong. He said he didn't have time to come back but would call me and he never got back to me. I tried to contact him repeatedly, but his voice mail is always full so that you can't leave a message, and nobody ever answers the phone. Besides never coming back to fix the leaking faucet, he never installed the pop up drains that came with the faucet sets. This is a problem because the new faucets have a different finish than the old ones, so now they do not match. He was also careless with his alignment of the new faucets, so that the hot side faucet is at an angle instead of being straight. Really poor workmanship. Overall, not a good experience.

The original deal is for 2 guys but we got 4 and they worked very hard and past the paid time, which was definitely a pleasant surprise. I though I hit the jackpot with them. These are nice guys and were respectful of my house. However, the list of work I needed around the house ended up taking much longer than expected. They had to come for a third day we originally talked 2, and there is a lot of work that still needs to be done. I did not hire them for a 4th day. I will probably try a different company. Don't get me wrong, they are nice people, but it would have cost me less to hire a company that charges by the work that needs to be done rather by the hour, since they can take a long time to get certain things done. The quality of work was mediocre to average. Some of the work they did needed to be fixed in the next time they came. I guess it depends on the amount of work you need done around the house. The coupon deal is definitely worth it, but after that.... I'm not so sure. This is my own opinion based on my own experiences with the company.

We purchased a Big Deal over the weekend to have a previously purchased toilet installed on Monday. Wilfredo arrived on Monday and found that the toilet we purchased was cracked in the box. We ended up returning the toilet and rescheduling for Wednesday. He was perfectly nice about the whole situation. His associate returned on Wednesday and installed the toilet. He needed to return to Home Depot a few times due to needing unexpected parts and to replace a part that we had purchased in the wrong size. He was quick, and professional and ended up doing a great job. He worked very cleanly and overall we are very happy with the service and hope to work with them again soon.

EB did a great job. there were unable to make the time originally scheduled but let me know in plenty of time to reschedule and make sure my schedule wasn't screwed up. they were friendly, professional and did a great job.

I called Wilfredo for a quote for work on a door and stucco repair. He scheduled an appointment for that evening at 5:30, and I left work early to make it home. At 6:00, I called him and he told me there had been an emergency at the job he was at, and he didn't have my phone number to call me back. We rescheduled for two days later at the same time. Again, I left work early, and again he didn't show. This time when I called about 30 minutes after the scheduled time, it kicked to voice mail that was full, so I couldn't even leave a message. He didn't answer multiple attempts to call him.

Contacted promptly and scheduled them to come out. The crew arrived on time and after looking over the projects, left to purchase the needed materials. Everything was done quickly and neatly and to our satisfaction. Thanks!

I scheduled an appointment for 10:00 am - took off half day of work to meet them. No show. Called and rescheduled and they were very nice and apologetic. 2nd appointment - no show. Cannot leave a voice message as the mailbox is full and they will not pick up phone.

You had appointment but I wanted to reschedule and never got a responsive. I have called him 5 different times, was able to leave a message on 2 of the calls but now the voice mail is full. I have also sent him an email, and still no respond. He didn’t show up for the first appointment.

Bought the 'Tuesday special' online, marked an appointment with Wilfred. Juan came over on time Tuesday AM to install a basic Pfister faucet. Did the job, said there would be no leaks. We replaced it because the previous fixture was leaking. Unfortunately, 2 weeks later saw the under the sink was soaked. Called Wilfred to see about getting Juan back to fix it, left a message. No response. Got a different contractor in to fix it, who said the work wasn't good, and the wrong areas had been sealed. Paid Wouldn't contract Wilfred or his crew again.

They did not show up for the appointment, they did not call to reschedule the appointment. I called them over three hours but their mailbox was full. They had over 20 calls and could see I was calling. Do not use them, they do not respond.
