Kelly responded promptly to my message via Angie's List and the visit was scheduled through Angie's List messaging. Kelly arrived within the two hour window he had given me. Kelly completed the work within an hour and the work looks professionally done.

Kelly was extremely helpful in this visit to our house. Our cold-water faucet had slowed to a trickle all of a sudden last Friday, but the hot water side was fine in flow. During the estimate of this situation, he told us some options, such as (1) replacing a water valve/pipe controlling flow of water from the middle part of our widespread faucet to the cold water side (right handle base) or (2) replacing the entire faucet itself since it was old (installed in 1999). He was frank about the fact our make of faucet was not the greatest or longest-lasting brand. He also doubted that the parts for the repair (1) could be easily found, since the model was probably no longer being made.Then he showed me where the flexible pipe between the middle section and cold-water faucet was located under the sink (not visible, but still accessible). He told us that this pipe is known to kink up over time. Then he reached in and smoothed out the kink, which suddenly made the cold water faucet flow normally again. We were amazed and pleased that he'd solved our water flow issue in just a minute! He was terrific to do this at no charge. When Kelly's phone rang twice, he didn't interrupt the conversation to answer it right away (very nice display of attention to the customer). He was very helpful and patient dealing with my husband's many questions about how a bathroom remodeling project would be handled. Kelly agreed that it would make more sense for us to change all the faucets and do the plumbing work at the same time when remodeling the bathroom. He suggested some showrooms where we might go and get ideas for what we would want for a bathroom makeover. We were very impressed and we will definitely consider Castle Plumbing for the bathroom remodeling project we're contemplating in the spring!

i had an estimate from a plumber i had been using for years for $700, which did not include some small drywall work that would also be needed. Castle came out for free and gave me an estimate for $297 and he did the small amount of drywall work at no extra charge. very clean job & very professional.

The new installation and repairs were all done extremely well; plumber was very professional, personable, and cleaned up afterwards. He was about 1 or 2 hours late to the appointment to make the fixes (he called earlier to let me know he was running late). When he finished with all the repairs, he told me that since he was late for the appointment, he would not charge me for fixing the toilet nor the faucet.

They were very good and did a great job. Very friendly.

He was awesome. I now get hot water quickly and the pressure is great. Highly recommend him.

He'll give an honest assessment of the situation and not push for you to leap into expensive repairs until you are ready. He diagnosed that we had a shower valve that needed replacing and came back to explain the repair a second time to my husband. After some thought we went ahead. He got the job done in one day and while it was a costly repair, it was not unreasonable. The same plumber has done other work for us and has always done a good job. He is respectful and professional.

It was absolutely marvelous. The gentleman was very professional and prompt. He even put cardboard down in my driveway to protect it. When he finished, it was like the bathroom had never been disturbed. It was a perfect job.

I have no complaints. He first came to do the work on 11/14/13, but the faucet we had purchased wouldn't fit because the hole in the counter top for the spout is very close to the under-mount sink. He advised us to buy two more faucets of other recommended brands, then return whichever ones we don't use. This worked out perfectly. He arrived when expected. He called when he was leaving his previous job to let us know that he should arrive in about 20 minutes. He is a nice guy and patiently answered all of my many questions. He doesn't waste time, but he takes as much time as needed to complete the work with excellent craftsmanship. He told us to call him if we have any leaks or issues, but we haven't had any. He first gave a free estimate in August and he spent a lot of time trying to help me decide about replacing the 60" vanity cabinet in the bathroom that didn't get the new faucet. He hasn't rushed me. He wants me to take as much time as necessary to decide on what I want to do.

WARNING! Don't be fooled by Castle Plumbing. I would not recommend this plumbing contractor to anyone on the basis that they employ false advertising in their Angie's List business profile. If you look at their ad under Business Description it states "Free estimate, no travel charges, flat rate pricing." Having completed only an assessment of the issue in my kitchen Kelly Castillo informed me that he would be charging me $85 for the visit. This clearly contradicts the claim in his Angie's List profile that his estimates are free. I've worked with countless Angie's List contractors in the past and was never once charged by any contractor that advertised Free Estimates on their profile, when all that was performed was an initial estimate. The choice is yours.

He did an excellent job. They cleaned everything and just did such a fantastic job. I would definitely use them in the future.

He knew what he was doing. The curves in the drain were a lot more then they are now a days since it's an older house and it would be to expensive to replace but it wasn't his fault and he did really well with the other sink.

I needed the faucet right away because I couldn't use my kitchen without that faucet and he responded right away. Once I got the faucet within a day or two, he showed up just like he said he would after I called him. He put the faucet in without any problem. He was really personable, professional, and easy to work with.

Service was great! Arrived when expected and did a great job. Left the area cleaner than when he started.

We had a problem with a leak that our former plumber could not solve in multiple visits. We thought we were going to have to rip everything apart. Castle Plumbing resolved it on their first visit, and the problem seems to be permanently fixed. Castle showed a great depth of knowledge about plumbing solutions. We were very impressed. The cost was much less than we thought it would be.

We have used Kelly for several projects over the last few years. His service is always great, reasonably priced and fast.

I spoke to Kelly on Monday and he was there the next day to fix a couple of leaks under my bathroom sink. I was not present, so between my wife and a phone call from Kelly we were able to explain the problems. Kelly looked over the situation and called me back with the price. At first, I was a little taken aback by the $265 quote. But, I am not a plumber and do not know to what lengths Kelly had to go to fix what was wrong. I also had a 10% off coupon which brought the price down to $238 so, I told him to proceed. It took him a couple of hours to complete the job. When I got home and looked at the worked that was done, I was thoroughly pleased with the outcome. The new hot water tap, new water supply line and the new drain stem were top quality. The area under the sink was clean, as if no one had ever been there. Kelly is a true professional, something that is hard to come by today. I will use him again and highly recommend him.

Castle Plumbing did a good job. I ordered two Big Deals by mistake and I asked my neighbor if she wanted one. So, we both got them and they were fine. We live by the train tracks and they're not shutting off the gas inadvertently or anything. I don't remember having any problems with them at all. They came out when we wanted them to. There were no problems with scheduling with them at all. I'm retired, so I'm home. They called and it worked out fine. They came out and did everything. They supplied all the parts and the labor. That was it. They did everything. They did a nice and clean job. They didn't make a mess. My neighbor was very happy with hers, as well. They installed an earth quake shut off valve. If you have a large earthquake, one of the worst things that happen after that is fire. So, this was basically just a bearing thing on top of a valve. If it shakes hard enough, it falls off and shuts off the gas or something like that. It's a real simple mechanism, but you need a licensed plumber to put it in. It's very nice. I'm happy and my neighbor is happy.

Used Castle Plumbing previously (via Angies List) and was very happy with their work, and so called them when one of our toilets was leaking. They came out and evaluated on Friday - gave us a window from 10am to 12noon, and came promptly at 10am - we discussed options of repair or replace (it was a 30 year old fixture - and getting parts for it was an issue) and decided to replace. Quoted us a price, but was unable to do the job at the time (a bit annoyed but....) We scheduled them to come back on Tuesday to replace the toilet... No problem... However, on Tuesday, with the same 10am to 12noon window and my wife at home (and with things to do), they did not come out until nearly 1 pm.... They told her that there was an emergency call and apologized, but rather than an apology, a quick call to let us know that he was going to be late would have been more helpful... It would have let her do other things between 10am and 12noon other than just sit and wait.... she was quite upset and really didn't care about how good Castle's ratings on Angies List were.... We understand that emergencies come up - and if I were the other customer I would want my problem taken care of ASAP.... but again, a 30 second (15second!!) phone call to let US know that we would need to wait would have been appreciated... I don't think we will be using Castle again... not if my wife has anything to say about it...

Kelly and his team did a wonderful job. No complaints.

I liked Castle Plumbing. They did good work but it is quite expensive. I didn't have any problem after they came.
