Alan came out to provide a free estimate for a new A/C. We asked to see a few options which he agreed to email in a couple of days. It's been two weeks and we still have no estimate. Why would we hire them if they are not eager to earn our business?

They were very responsive, came out quickly. They gave me good price.

Mark, the Air-Tech technician gave me a call 15 min before his arrival. He actually arrived a few minutes earlier than the appointment time. I explained the problem and he verified that the capacitor was bad and needed replacement. Mark made the repair and then also took a look at my other AC unit and inspected the filters. Mark did a great job.

Well. Of 2 ducts for waste water release from A/C unit in attic area, one (the primary one) was blocked. Anthony Cleaned out both ducts (including back up duct which had turned into the primary one) of and and provided clear information to me about what he was doing. As a senior citizen I have my radar on for the possibility of being ripped off but felt so positive about the experience that I also purchased a service agreement for checking both air and heating systems twice a year since it's beyond my knowledge especially since I am now a widow. I feel positive also because I know someone will be looking at those systems.

I was promised that I would get the bid the following week. I did not receive a proposal until 7/10/17. This proposal did not include the window unit option, so I had to wait a day or two for a revised proposal. I sent in a check for the window unit option about a week later. Check was cashed 7/31/17. Never heard from Air Tech about when the work was going to be scheduled. E-mailed them last week and did not hear back. Called them the beginning of this week and was assured someone would get right back to me that day. No one got back to me. Called again this morning and asked for my deposit back. I had this company install my central heating a few years back and they did a good job (they still maintain the unit through a contract). I was hopeful that this would work out. The office assistant was apologetic when i called to ask for my deposit back, but when I asked her for an explanation she said they had been busy. If someone had called or emailed and told me that I'd be fine with it, but ignoring a returning customer makes no sense. I feel like billing them for the time I took off work to meet with their contractor.

I called Air-Tech and they could not come out for a week. I booked an appointment with them but tried to find someone who could come out earlier. I found someone who came out the next day--and said he'd have to come back with an electrician, which made no sense to me. I waited for our air-tech appointment--they came out right on time, figured out the problem and fixed it at a reasonable price within the hour.

I hired Air-Tech to redo all of the ducting for my HVAC system. Had a fantastic experience working with Rod, Alex, and the entire team there from start to finish. Everything went extremely smoothly from scheduling the job with their admin staff to having the technical work done the day of the job. Air-Tech is extremely professional, responsive, and it was easy to see that their work is top notch. I'd highly recommend them to anyone!

It didn't go. They never reached out to me to schedule the work to be completed. My air conditioning unit went out in the meantime and I found someone else to do the work.

Mark from Air Tech arrived a few minutes early for the appointment. He quickly reviewed where the equipment was located, then started the replacement. Mark gave me the option of having the new thermostat controlled by my smart phone. I did not want this feature now, but he went ahead and set-up the wifi in the thermostat so it would be easier to use later. Mark took the time to make sure the unit was attached properly.

Air-Tech bumped my appointment up twice because of cancellations by others--a great thing because of a predicted stretch of hot, humid weather. They came out on a Saturday, just 24-hours after my initial call. Mark Klotz thoroughly inspected my unit and quickly diagnosed the problem. He had the parts on his truck. I opted for an upgraded (made in the USA) capacitor in the hope of avoiding future issues. The entire repair took one-hour and the AC was up and running again. As a precaution, I opted to replace the capacitor on a second unit as well. Mark checked all the other operations of the unit and found them to be within spec; he even hosed-out the coils on both units before he finished.

Anthony Shaw, technician, was wonderful to work with. He came on time (called prior), explained everything he did and why it needed to be done. The pricing was much better than I expected. Anthony will be coming out again to install dampers in my A/C vents, so the air flow is more even throughout the house. I'd highly recommend this company

Initial phone consultation with Evelyn was great. Very clear about what would be covered and what might cost extra. Easy to schedule with. Mark Klutz came out the very next day. He was running ahead of schedule and called to make sure it would be okay to arrive early - good communication. He analyzed the situation, the components, the problem and the possible solutions. He had options and although he offered his expertise, he clearly left the decision up to me. He did very complete job and solved my issues. It's all running better than ever.

The person who came to my door was obviously there to upsell as much as possible. He indicated that he needed to inspect my furnace prior to even looking at my unit which was located outdoors. I asked why and his reply was that it affected the unit. I told him the furnace was working fine but he insisted on inspecting it. He then told me he was red tagging the furnace. I asked under what authority and he had difficulty explaining the authority other than to say it was the Mechanics Code. He also told me that the tubing supplying my home was undersized, this despite the fact that I told him the system worked fine for the last 25 years. Then he said I needed two 3/4 inch pipes for the water to drain from the furnace when the air was running so it would not clog. Again the unit had run fine for 25 years and I think the only way it would clog was if a rat got stuck in it!!! I told him I just wanted the unit up and running since I was scheduled to leave town in the afternoon. I looked up the Mechanic Code and what he failed to inform me of is that I could have signed a waiver so that he was not liable regarding violations he was concerned about. at that point I just wanted him out of my house. The cost was over $900 dollars. I understand R-12 is expensive but had I been more naive it would have cost a lot more. This is the type of company that would take advantage of the elderly.

They were great. When I called they were clear about what the service would entail and what the cost would be. We set an appointment, the sevirce tech was on time, did his job, was very nice and professional. A perfect experience over all.

Best air conditioning repair at the best price we have ever had. Last people we called wanted $2500. These people were under $300 and they were fast and wonderful to work with.

They did good work. It took a week for them to fix the system. The workers were good and left the space clean.

The job could not have gone smoother. Everyone was very courteous, knowledgeable and professional...from the person who came out for the initial estimate to the installation crew and technician. They also cleaned up very well after the job was done. I will be recommending Air-Tech to all of my friends and family.

We have eight people out to fix the a/c unit and no one could find the problem. Mark Clotz diagnosed the issue and now it is wonderful.

They did a decent job. Had some issues with them that we worked out and got squared away as to where to put the return.

Air Tech conducted an inspection of my heating and air conditioning system and said a motor for the heater needed to be replaced. The cost estimate was approximately $1000. I paid only the standard service charge and did not authorize any further work. I had a home protection plan and subsequently contacted my insurance provider. Another heating and air conditioning company, representing my insurance, did a similar inspection. The motor was cleaned and lubricated. Nothing more was required, and heating was restored. The total charge for this service was $60, my deductible under the plan. I am giving Air Tech an overall rating of "C," because I am giving their technician the benefit of the doubt. But needless to say, a second opinion under circumstances such as this is advisable.

Technician Mark Klotz arrived on time and was courteous and professional. He solved a problem that another company could not even detect. It was a terrific experience all around. I would recommend Mark Klotz's services and Air-Tech to anyone.
