Air Tech was great. I would HIGHLY recommend. I initially had 2 other companies besides Air Tech come out for a replacement estimate. Price wise Air Tech was right in the middle but were doing a lot more than the other 2 quotes I got. For example they were changing the copper refrigeration lines, which the other 2 weren’t going to do. When I called the other 2 companies to add the lines in there was going to be an additional $1500-$2000 charge. I’m very pleased with this the work that was done by Air Tech

Serviced my AC was very friendly and informative. They gave me tips on how to make my AC run better and last longer.

It went spectacularly well. Efficient, environmentally responsible equipment, and Steve and Martin are super competent installers. Alex Fish, who sold me the system, checked in daily while the work was going on, and was always available by phone or text if I had a question. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend them.

In preparation for replacing my HVAC system, I went through a few different estimates. The reason I chose Air-Tech was not because of price, but because I was impressed by the details provided to me. Rod was great. We went into the attic, reviewed all the components inside and out. And we discussed the scope of the work. Once I agreed, he gave me a start date\time. The crew showed up on time and worked hard for two days. Not only was I comfortable with Rod, but the crew was great. My new system is in place and I couldn’t be happier that I chose Air-Tech. If you’re in the market for a new HVAC system, do yourself a favor and call them. You won’t be disappointed.

We had hired Air-Tech in 2019 for a whole-house, ductless system. That system still works flawlessly, and we needed another unit for a permitted garage conversion/ADU. We were also in a time-crunch, as our final inspection is coming up, and heating/ac is needed for approval. Though due to the high season, we were quoted about 4 weeks, it took "about 3 days"! We were surprised to hear that they would make a special trip to install our unit. Same, familiar faces as the original system, and same GREAT and personable service (most polite techs in ANY industry, and we know, as we have done lots to our house over the last 7 years). 5 hours later and we had ice-cold air blowing in our new addition, very tidy installation inside and out, and we are all set for final approval by the building inspector AND years of enjoyment. We added the service contract, so these pros can keep our whole house system including the addition, in tip-top shape, under warranty and lasting for years to come. Consultation was very smooth. Never pressured into purchasing. Rod was very informative and helped me find the right product that fit in my budget. Day of installation: All employees arrived 10 mins before the window. The unit was installed the same day and the crew cleaned up like it was there own house. Very happy with the decision to use Air-Tech. Do not hesitate to use them. Friendly and I will continue to support family owned businesses.

My neighbor and I looked into ductless heating and cooling and noticed that Air Tech had great reviews and I know why. We both hired Air Tech after interviewing other companies. The work was completed on schedule. The technicians were courteous and respectful and spread cloth on the floor in the rooms they were working. Anytime I had questions they were more than willing answer them. Even the secretaries in the office are great. I would highly recommend Air Tech.

So many GREAT things to say about Air-Tech. First, I had a split system installed on one side of a duplex about 10 years ago. It was permitted and passed. Less than a year later I learned there were leaks/problems with it. The original installer wouldn't come back as they no longer worked in this geographical area and the European units weren't being used. Thank God they recommended Air-Tech! They fixed the system and offered an annual maintenance check where they come out every 6 months and check for leaks, clean filters, etc. Their office is so wonderful about reminding me if I have forgotten to set up an appointment. Their guys are ALWAYS professional, clean and courteous. Well, two months ago the tenants in the other side of the duplex requested AC and I knew Air-Tech would be great. I called Alex out (what a super nice guy) and he came over the next day I think. I remember it was a Saturday. Since the price of these system had gone up substantially from when I bought it ten years I was shocked. I signed the contract and gave him a deposit but after talking to BF he suggested I get other bids for something that expensive. I called Alex and asked him to put my project on hold for a week while I looked at bids. I think he was surprised because I knew them and the system but I felt like I needed to be prudent. He wasn't rude or short. He was very respectful. The other company's estimators were pleasant enough and I learned about some options for a second gas heating system that I wanted installed at another location. The other company's prices were similar. One added a city inspection which I was doing as an added cost ot Air-Tech's price and the other company added five years of maintenance onto their price. So the prices were a bit higher. I knew I'd be purchasing the maintenance services from Air-Tech so I knew how that compared. I called Alex back about a week later and said: "Let's go. Thank you for the time to check around and feel confident. Armando and Andrew have installed the systems this week and I could NOT BE HAPPIER. I am amazed that Armando knows so much about electrical, gas and mechanical systems. Andrew is very helpful and knowledgeable and quick to make sure things are clean. Every time someone has come out from Air-Tech they are nice, neat, respectful and focused on their work. They aren't taking calls on their phone, they aren't talking excessively, etc. ANYWAY, as part of the installation for the gas wall heater they discovered that there are two gas leaks under the raised property. Someone had installed temporary shut off valves for two previously serviced gas units (a floor furnace and radiator we think). Yikes! Air-Tech was supposed to be done with ALL the work yesterday and while it's not as convenient to be at the property another day I am so thankful that they found the leak and are fixing them without charging me any money! How can they do that? I think it's because they know I'm a loyal customer. I'll be purchasing the maintenance contracts. Thank you Alex, Armando and Andrew. So happy to be working with you!

My interaction with Air-Tech went very smoothy. Alex Fish, the customer representative was very professional and easy to work with. He provided a clear and detailed proposal , with options, before leaving the site on his first visit. Alex stayed in communication throughout the project. As a result of this experience I plan to have Air-Tech take over the maintenance on my main HVAC system.

The service I received from Air-Tech was above my expectations. Alex made the selection process effortless and the installation was fast and efficient. The folks with Air-Tech are real pros.

Would highly recommend Air Tech is Pasadena! They came to fix our existing ducts and everything works great! They were professional, on time, efficient, cost effective and very knowledgable.

We hired Air-Tech to replace all the old ductwork in our home and install a new furnace and A/C unit. They did a great job. Alex Fish was extremely responsive to all of our questions, from start to finish. He was great at explaining all of the options, and the pro's and con's of each, before we signed up. He also stopped by several times during the installation, which lasted 4-5 days. The two technicians who did the work were extremely professional, tidy, polite, etc. They wore face masks at all times and even took a long break one day when we asked them to because we needed silence for an important Zoom meeting. All in all, Air-Tech is a highly professional outfit. While it's only been a few weeks since the installation, everything is working as it should and we are very happy with the outcome. Highly recommended!

On time, very knowledgeable about AC options, professional, listened to my needs and proposed a solution, very nice experience overall.

We needed our 16-year-old HVAC unit replaced, so I narrowed my Angie's List search down to seven Heating & Air Conditioning companies. The ones I chose all had an "A" rating with good reviews. Of those companies, two of them never returned my call, and one didn't work in Los Angeles (it's in Burbank but doesn't work in LA--go figure!). When I called Air-Tech, Heather, the Administrative Assistant, answered the phone--very friendly--and scheduled an appointment. Alex Fish was the Comfort Specialist that came to our home. He was on time, and called me on the road to let me know exactly when he'd arrive. Alex is very knowledgeable; studied every room, looked in the attic where our furnace is located, and examined our condenser and its power supply. Then we sat down and he showed us an illustrated booklet of a house that describes just how an HVAC unit works in a typical home. He walked us through the different systems and gave my wife and me options. He called the office to see if we qualified for an LADWP rebate and a Lennox rebate. We did. None of the other companies we'd seen were this thorough. Before he left, he had written out a detailed proposal including model numbers, what they do, the all-new gas piping, and drain and refrigeration line specifics, etc. Alex was the only person we had seen that wrote a complete proposal before he left the premises. A few days later, I called Alex with additional questions, and he talked to me for 20 minutes answering every question and concern I had. The job took a week to complete, and Carlos and his team covered the work area each day, were very professional and cleaned up at the end of the day, like they had never been there. Many of the technicians have been with Air-Tech for years. To me, that really says something about the company. My wife and I decided to go the permit route. Air-Tech pulled the permits, scheduled the duct testing (we passed), and Heather informed me of what was required with respect to smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors and their proximity to any ceiling fans in our house. Because of her heads-up and the outstanding workmanship of the Air-Tech team, final inspection was a breeze. Two techs even came out to double-check everything before the inspector arrived. I can't say enough about Air-Tech. A company that is honest, professional, and does excellent work. For any heating or air conditioning needs, Air-Tech cannot be beat.

Alex Fish and all the staff and technicians at Air Tech are fantastic. I am a Residential Real Estate Agent at Compass in Pasadena and the service that Alex has given me and my clients has been over the top. Alex is so extremely professional and speedy (which is what we Realtors love with our clients)! I would highly recommend Air Tech to anyone looking for Services.

Everything was done perfectly from Alex showing up on-time for the bid and giving us numerous options that could work for our space and then helping guide us to choosing the perfect option for us (not the most expensive one too). His install team was also wonderful, cleaned everything up, tested everything everything to ensure it was working, and demonstrated the full functionality and how to use it. We will definitely be using Alex and Air-Tech for all our future heating and AC needs!

It was over 90 degrees outside and the A/C was not blowing cold air. I called and explained it was for my 85 year old mother who was in home Hospice with end stage Parkinson's. I was worried she may get a heat stroke. They scheduled a service tech to visit in a timely manner. The service tech called an hour before the scheduled appointment to let me know he was on his way. Mark (service tech) was very professional and friendly. He not only got the A/C compressor to work but checked the Freon pressure and went in the basement to inspect the remainder of the equipment. He explained what might need replacing in the near future. Now I am not worried about my mother getting heat. I highly recommend this company for any heating and cooling repairs.

I just wanted to communicate my satisfaction with AirTech's customer service. I had the recommended six month maintenance performed on my Mitsubishi mini split cooling and heating unit today. I requested technician Mark Klotz by name for today's service appointment and he did not disappoint. He was once again personable and professional throughout the visit and answered all the questions I had regarding my unit and its performance.

Air-Tech installed a 3 zone Mitsubishi mini-split system in our home this in September. We got quote from five companies for the system and decided on Air-Tech because of Larry’s knowledge and experience. The bid from Air-Tech was competitive. Air-Tech was not the lowest priced bid we got, but quality is worth paying for. I can say that out of all the HVAC companies we have worked with over the years Air-Tech surpasses them all by leaps and bounds. When I say this, I am coming from a place of experience. We have built our own house and we come from a family of architects and builders. We also had just finished working with another company (that shall remain un-named) around the same time to replace a different central air system. That other un-named company completed the job late, charged a higher price than what they proposed, and left our house and property a mess. Air-Tech however was knowledgeable, prompt, clean, trust-worthy, and professional. Larry even went out of his way to get our project done faster than their schedule should have allowed at the time. They were scheduling months out when I called during the big heat wave of the summer, but he got our project done in three weeks anyway. I had explained to Larry that we were without heating or cooling at the moment and really needed help. I did not tell him that the urgency was because my terminally ill mother was coming to stay with us and she needed good climate control. While Larry didn’t know about my sick mother, he was able to understand the urgency in my tone I suppose. Larry put an extra crew on the job and oversaw the work himself. The fact that Larry came through for us made such a difference in our lives at the time. I am sharing this story to demonstrate that at the end of the day Air-Tech is a company of people who want to help people and on top of that they are excellent at doing what they do. PS. I also enjoyed the Holiday Card they sent us this year.

They were very busy, but they were actually a couple weeks earlier than originally planned, and did the work in two, vs the planned three days. Very professional and pleasant team.

I think the company probably does good work but the communication was extremely poor. I contacted them via Angie's List initially on Sunday 29 October. I did not get a response but wanted to give them another chance so sent another contact through Angie's List on November 14. They promptly responded to this and set up an appointment for a comfort advisor visit on November 16. It took a phone call to finally get the proposal from them on November 28 which included multiple options (the multiple options very much appreciated). on November 29 I sent a few simple questions. I did not hear back and sent the questions that I had not been able to answer on my own on December 5. On or about December 6 I called and the person that answered took a message. Again I never heard back when their 10 day accept clause required me to respond by December 8. I really liked their technical solution and they were my preferred option based on solution but the responsiveness caused me to question whether I could count on them so I went with a different company. The company I went with was always prompt in answering my questions and actually called a time or two while I was going through my decision process. Again, I think they probably do good work but good work is only good if there is good communication and in this case it was severely lacking. It should also be noted that I delayed the project waiting to hear back from them which put the actual installation later than I wanted and after a cold period arrived in LA.

Enjoyed working with local people especially since they were second lowest of 4 bids. Completely satisfied with initial explanation of job, timelines of everything, and follow-up re appointments etc. Installers were totally professional, did not even leave property at lunch time and cleaned up everything when finished. Would not hesitate to give highest recommendation.
