Description of Work: Jose came out when scheduled a week ago on Friday afternoon. . . met him and told him what we wanted for a quote. He walked around outside the house for about 15 minutes. Told me he would get me a quote. Have not heard from the company in over 10 days. |Jose did not have any noticeable indication he worked for the company: no business card, no uniform, name tag, unmarked truck. |Wondering. . .

Description of Work: This company responded tight in Tim and the service man was very friendly and got right to work. My toilet needed a clearing and he did perform the job. However, he left my bathroom very dirty. I had to clean up the mess myself. Several days later I dicovered he had not cleaned out the overflow part of my tub and there was backed up sewage in that area. It is still there because I haven't been able to open the trap to clean it. He also didn't take out the tub drain screen to make sure the sewage was cleared in the drain. I haven't been able to get the screen out either. So I haven't been able to use the tub for months.

Description of Work: Called on Dec 23. They offered to come out on Sunday and were going to charge us overtime, but we asked that they come on Monday. They made an appointment for that day between 7:00 and 9:00am. Did not show up and never called.

+ -1 moreThe Drain Co.'s dispatch center was able to send us a plumber (on Friday night at 10:00 PM, no less!) within an hour of the call. He was professional, knowledgeable, and was able to clear the clogs (20 feet down the pipe) without any difficulty.

+ -1 moreThey Drain Company did a great job. The plumber they sent worked and worked at snaking the drain. The snaking wasn't working because the clog was too far in the drain. So Mark (the plumber) went outside and snaked the main line. All that for only $49!!! So now the sink works perfectly.

Description of Work: My washing machine was backing up into my bathtub, so they removed and replaced a drain. The plumber referred to it as the clean out drain that is hooked up to my bathtub.

The service technician was very polite and personable and was able to resolve the problem with the drain in just a few minutes. The price that I paid was less the half of what I had paid in the past using one of the large drain cleaning service companies.

+ -1 moreWow!! We were so lucky to find The Drain Company on a Saturday afternoon. We discovered that our main drain was clogged up and needed to be cleaned. We were unable to use any of the toilets or run the water as it would back up in the bathtubs. We called several plumbing companies. We had a horrible experience with Mike Diamond (a report on that company has been submitted), then the Drain Company called back. We explained the problem in detail and were quoted $90. Two plumbers came out within the hour, cleaned out the drain, and were on their way. The owner, Star Tomlinson, called us twice, the first time to make sure that the plumbers arrived and the second time to check that the job was done well. Star is top notch and it is small, honest businesses like hers that should be supported!! Her card reads, "We clean your drains, not your pockets". We could not have happier with the job well done!!
