Palo Alto Plumbing was able to respond on the same day. I called in the morning and they were able to send someone over later that afternoon. Gave a 2 hour window and showed up during that window. The repair man was able to diagnose the problem as a failed control board but did not have one on the truck. As a result they had to come back the next day with the part and install it.

One special-purpose room in my house is cooled by a dedicated Mitsubishi Mr Slim split-system air conditioner. These units are unusual for houses around here. You see them more in schools and small businesses and some apartment houses. My Mitsubishi unit is 5 or 6 years old. It was starting to behave strangely. I had previously called three air conditioning repair companies and none of them managed to get it working properly. Each company had a different diagnosis and did a different repair. None of which worked. Finally last week I called Palo Alto Plumbing Heating and Air. They didn't show up in an Angie's List search for Air Conditioning companies. I found them outside Angie's List by contacting the manufacturer and asking for a list of companies that employed technicians who had received factory training. From that list, I picked the company closest to my house and called them. They were busy; the first available appointment was 8 days in the future. He arrived exactly in the center of the predicted window, listened to my explanation of the problem, and went to work. Very quickly he had a diagnosis and a proposal for repair. He explained his diagnostic thinking and explained what he planned to do and gave me a prediction of how long it would take him (hence how much the repair would cost). His quoted figure was less than half of what the other companies had charged for their unsuccessful repair attempts. I said yes. He finished the repairs exactly per his prediction, showed me various air temperatures that the unit was achieving, packed up his tools, and left. The final bill was around $200. One of the earlier repair companies had charged me $700 for an unsuccessful repair. Right now the unit is cooling better than when it was new. I'm thrilled.

9They arrived early, put out paper over our patio so they would not stain it when they walked over the area. Several people arrived and fixed the leak very quickly. They appeared very professional. Someone answered the phone when I called to make the appointment and that person called to let me know they were on their way. They sent a follow-up bill.

As noted above, each job went very well. The personnel were on time, friendly and responsive. We have no complaints at all, and highly recommend this provider.

I called the office I told the person that I was told by p,gand e that my wall heater needed to be cleaned (they capped the gas line) and asked if theycould do it she said would send out a service person when he got there I explained thing to him and just said it cheaper to install a new heater ,$1100.00 but he would deduct the $90.00 if I had them do the job . I did the job myself for around $450 .00 city

It went very well! From the beginning all the people I dealt with from the company were professional and timely in their response. Everything looks nice, and they cleaned up extremely well. The price was very reasonable, and they all knew what they were doing.

The technician showed up on time, was very professional. Figured out what was wrong quickly and repaired the shower. Asked if he had time to take a look at the washer that was not filling properly, he checked it out, found the problem and fixed that also. I have used Palo Alto Plumbing for all my plumbing and heating/ac problems and will continue to use them.

Very pleasant professional man came who also spoke clear english. This is important, to because of racial differences, but because of explanations and technicalities. We have had too many difficulties with clarifications in recent times, so this was impressive1 Other members of your family have used this firm as well and were very satisfied. You keep asking me for information that I gladly supplied earlier but do not have and quot;at handand quot; now - such as dates, cost etcc..

My experience with them was good! I have used them a couple of times, and they were great! They were just easy to work with. They were professional, and they worked hard. I would absolutely use them again.

We have had a difficult time finding a reliable plumber and our daughter and son in law recommended this one. They had had a major plumbing job which entailed new excavation for pipes etc.. and had been very pleased with both the service and the cost. We too were pleased by the prompt service, professionalism and outcome of our small job. I will share my information on our local Neighborhood Patch. I have very good experience with them. I think they are knowledgeable plumbers with fair and honest pricing. The price it's not cheap, but it's probably average for the area. I feel like I'm dealing with a professional group of people. The owner is very friendly and I think he keeps and attracts good plumbers there.

He came, did the work, gave me a full report on the status of each of the individual components, presented bill, received check and left. End of story.

He was able to clear out the drains. He also cleaned out a shower faucet. He fixed a kitchen sink handle. He seemed to know a lot about the work that needed to be done. We were happy with their work. They are very responsive and scheduling is easy. They called ahead of time to let me know they were on the way. We are impressed with their work.

The quote from Palo Alto Plumbing Heating and Air was for $116.00 an hour for a job that would take between two and five hours. They don't do custom estimates, but just quoted me their hourly rate and how long it might take. I didn't choose them because I wanted someone to come out and do an actual estimate. So I went with another company who did. Their rates seem competitive with others though.

The work was done professionally and quickly. Total time was about 2 to 3 hours. Cleanup prep and removal was done very well and efficiently

I called to request the repair. They came the next morning and made the repair. The repair person was knowledgeable and did the work quickly and in a professional manner.

They came, they probed, they conquered. Nuff said.

When I have a problem, they are my first call. I trust them to do the right thing for me and they are very reasonable.

One Saturday, our furnace pilot light kept going out. We perused the review lists, and were pleasantly surprise that Palo Alto Plumbing had weekend service. James, the technician they sent was extremely knowledgeable, efficient, and pleasant. He was meticulous all the way around, explaining in detail what needed to be done. Unlike other plumbers who put in the water heater, he checked both the water heater and furnace for carbon monoxide leaks, finding that the flu pipe on the water heater was completely rusted outand mdash;it was gone and leaking carbon monoxide. Since we do not own the house, we had the major items fixed and checked with the owner for the other recommended work. James gave us his mobile number which we used; he was glad to help us out. Afterwards, we had James back to complete the items we cleared with the owner. I highly recommend Palo Alto Plumbing, Heating and Air without any reservations.

They are a local company and reasonably priced. They are prompt as well.

James first came out to service my upstairs furnace but we soon realized I needed a new unit.(The old one was over 20 years old....) I got an estimate and he returned about a week later (with Brandon) to replace the furnace. It took about 7 hours because they kept finding issues with the former electrical hook-up. They worked steadily and repaired what needed to be repaired before they could install the new unit. When it was done, James walked me through the features of the new furnace (and the thermostat they had installed) to make sure I knew how to use it all. I used the Angie's coupon and got $100 off the price of the new furnace. He also checked my AC unit and told me why it hadn't been working properly. I would definitely use this company again. And now I have James' direct cell number in case anything goes wrong, or I need service down the road. The guys were nice, polite and clearly knew their business!

They originally thought it was the tankless water heater, but after attempting to fix that, it was not the source of the problem. Then, they went into the shower and fixed the pressure. However, the shower began leaking. He came back to fix the leak and could not fix it without ordering new parts. He came back a third time with the new parts and the shower was still leaking. I called the fixture company and the retail store. They sent me new parts and I ended up fixing the issue myself. However, they only charged me for the first service call.
