Description of Work: I have used these folks for routine plumbing work, a gas heater replacement, heater repair (a different heater) and toilet replacement. They attend to small details (like the shoe covers they wear when they come in the house and the vacuum to get all the water out of the old toilet before unhooking it). They are on time and they tell you what it will cost up front and then stick to it. I will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Super job and super nice qualified person to do the job. Opened exterior wall adjacent to kitchen sink and below location. Cut and sawed off old galvanized pipes and installed new ABS pipes and tested. All okay. Took 3 1/2 hours. Everything works great.

Description of Work: This was a Saturday job and they were a couple of hours late (hence the B on punctuality). The job included reseating a toilet whose gasket had started leaking and clearing (snaking) a sink drain. The job was done quickly and professionally. | |I've used them for other jobs including clearing drains and installing a new furnace and have been very happy with their work (and they were on time for those jobs). They will be the first ones I call for my next plumbing job.

Description of Work: I had black took coming out of hot water taps intermittently. Had asked several people, including plumbers, what it was. No one had a clue. Finally called these guys. Joe came out and figured it out right away. He took care of the problem and was out of here in an hour. His office called to tell me he was running late, and he came right when they said he would. Was with me from 5 to 6 pm! I liked his work.

+ 1 moreMax Weisbarth, at Palo Alto Plumbing, was recommended to me by a neighbor. Max has always arrived on time, as per his appointments. He calls at my work number so I can meet him at my home, so I do not have to wait, or take extra time from work. He is very cheerful, helpful, and professional. He is very time efficient and works quickly, efficiently, and thoroughly. He cleans up after working, so there is no extra work to do after he leaves. His prices are very fair for his excellent work done, and he mails you the bill. He was very pleasant to my elderly mother, and our little dog, Suki. I have recommended Palo Alto Plumbing to several of my friends and neighbors, and they have always been as pleased as I have been with his work.
Description of Work: Installed a gas line and connected new gas range, (disposed of the very old, heavy, electric range); installed dishwasher (where no previous dishwasher has ever been installed); replace kitchen faucet, soap dispenser, and pure water dispenser; rebuilt old gas furnace, and installed it in the crawl space under the house; installed wall mounted thermostat; reset toilet; replaced sink drain ring and air gap drain pipe; and repaired constantly running toilet.

+ -1 moreThe receptionist was rude and a liar. The plumber was over an hour late for their 2-3 hours window to install my toilets and was a total grouch. For $100/hr plus travel time, I expected a bit more respect. There are too many plumbing companies around here to put up with rude service.

+ -1 moreI was very disappointed, they did a very poor job. They did not live up to the contract and the owner actually knew what he was doing, but everyone else did not. The owner did not come out with them, and come to find out that the people who did come out were not even licensed.
