G & G Carpet Rug Upholstery And Tile Clean

I have to begin with an unpleasant experience I had with another carpet cleaner for the day of service March 30th, 2012. This other provider showed up, was unpleasant, refused to do the job and left. They called back later saying they would do the job but it would cost more money. For that appointment, I had moved everything up off the carpets and moved many of the smaller things out of the carpeted rooms. I was very upset. I called G & G carpet because of the many good reviews on Angie's List. I did not want a repeat performance of what happened. Jim at G&G carpets was wonderful to deal with. He asked enough questions to get a good idea of what was needed and set a price minus the percent off coupon they have here on Angie's List. As I was still upset about what had happened before I called G&G, Jim apologized that I had had that kind of experience and explained some of the reasons other companies behave that way. He did not have to do that and it was very helpful. He was not able to get his folks out to clean my carpet until the following Wednesday, but I was the first appointment that morning. When Alex and Octovio arrived, there were no surprises - for them or for me. They explained more about the scotch guarding and I opted for that service. Then they set to work. No drama. They moved the furniture, I could not, to the middle of the rooms and replaced it afterwards on the little foam pads. Not all carpet cleaners do this, I found. They were polite and neat. When they were done, there were no spots on the carpet, none. What more could I ask for? It took them almost 2 hours then off they went. I won't be distracted by the 'cheap' carpet cleaning coupons that come in the mail anymore. When my carpet needs cleaning again, I'll call G&G.

We found G &G on Angies list last year. They did a great job so we used them again. The arrived on time, we're professional and quick.

After 5 years of daily wear-and-tear (including several remodeling projects, adjacent dirt-intensive landscaping, and the tread of a 75 lb. dog), our carpets were in desperate shape; we actually considered replacing some areas. G&G provided a comprehensive estimate, scheduled a time only a few days out, showed up promptly, cleaned everything (including a last-minute area rug addition) quickly and thoroughly, and left the carpets in better shape than they were when we moved in. We're thrilled with the job they did and will absolutely use them again.

Great job on the whole house carpet cleaning. 3 hours with 2 people. Vaccumed the whol hojuse, cleaned under the beds and moved the heavy furniture. Slightly more expensive than my previous carpet cleaning company but worth the extra cost. Cat vomit and cat urine were removed from the carpet

I phoned them on March 12. They were able to give me an appointment the very next day and provided an accurate estimate over the phone. The two technicians arrived right on time the next day. They worked diligently and left everything neat and tidy. The carpet hadn't been cleaned for years (and it's a very light tan) and I just can't believe how good it looks! We'll certainly use them again, and will tell all our friends.

They arrived on time, were very professional and made sure our desires were noted. They explained what they were doing, protected all areas from their hoses and charged only what we agreed upon.

The technicians were on time, courteous, and professional. We have used other carpet cleaning companies in the past, with okay results. I'm not going back to any of them. I'm going to use this company exclusively. The carpet had a lot of dirty traffic areas and many stains. They were able to remove most of the stains, except for what appeared to be wine stains and even they were diminised. I am very pleased with the result of the high traffic areas as well. I wish I had taken a picture of the carpet to show the before and after. It came out that good. I felt the pricing was excellent too.

They are very good. He gave me an estimate for the amount of time the cleaning would take. The rug was ready when he said it was going to be.

G&G Carpet Cleaners are great! Our 30 yr. old carpet desperately needs replacing but we won't have time until much later in the year. Although we have had it cleaned many times over the years, it has gotten to the point of faded color, bad stains etc. that other companies have been unable to do well. I emailed them and that evening the owner called to set up an appointment - whenever I wanted them to come. I did warn him about the condition of our carpet and he said don't worry - they would be careful. They called early to ask if they could be 1/2 hour late and I said sure, no problem. They came exactly at that time and proceeded to thoroughly vacumn (with special vacumn), wet clean, treat horrible stains and just plain dirty areas, and remove 98% of the water treatment at the finish! Our carpet hasn't looked this clean for a really long time. The fellows were very pleasant and able to answer all of my questions or concerns. In short, I would never have any other company but G&G clean our carpets. They also cleaned a very high-end 30 yr. old sofa with linen fabric and it truly looks brand new! This was an extra $175 which was well worth it. I highly recommend them.

Fabulous job! Not only was the work impeccable, they turned it around in very short notice so we would have it back in time for the holidays. They were incredibly knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything to me so my expectations were properly set. I couldn't be happier.

I called for an estimate on Friday. They scheduled for the following Monday. George arrived on time and went to work straight-away, was extremely courteous, and more than willing to answer my dumb questions. The quality of his work was exceptional. A couple areas of the carpet were quite badly soiled, and he focused in on those, returning them to "like new" condition. A couple years back, I had similar service performed by a "Nationally Recognized" firm. The cost was quite a bit lower, but... The cleaning fellow was borderline rude, did just an OK job, and was primarily focused on getting the job done as fast as possible. G&G was far, far better. I truly feel that I got what I paid for. When cleaning time comes around again, I will definitely be calling G&G!!

I contacted G&G Carpet, Rug, Upholstery & Tile Cleaners at the last minute on the afternoon of Thursday October 20th to have the carpets cleaned in two rooms. I needed to have someone come out the next day (Friday October 21st). The office manager said that she would call Jim off-site and see if he could squeeze me in for a next day's appointment (every other carpet cleaner I called said the following Tuesday was the earliest that they could come out). By 4:30 pm, I received a call from G&G and I was VERY happy that G&G was able to accomodate my rush situation the very next morning. Not only was Jim able to come out, but he was even able to come out 30 minutes earlier than the time slot he had told me. Jim did a GREAT, professional and thorough job. A week later I even received a "Thank You" card from G&G.

I got an estimate over the phone and was able to get an appointment quickly, responsive to my needs. They called a day or two ahead to remind me of the appointment and arrived promptly. The two guys confirmed price before starting just to make sure there was no misunderstanding. They offered Scotch Guard but weren't pushy about it. I had moved as much furniture and stuff from the floors as possible, then they moved the heavy furniture and boxes. My carpets were filthy from a recent remodel and not having them cleaned for a very long time. The guys moved beds to clean behind them and around the edges. The carpets came out looking really good. The upholstery looks good too, but it wasn't in as dire a need as the carpets. I would definitely use them again and recommend them. (And they didn't get my hardwood floors wet.)

I am a small business owner working with children, so getting rid of carpet stains is a frequent issue. We called G&G carpet to clean our carpets, and they did an excellent job. They came on time, stayed within their cost estimate, cleaned the carpet well and gave good practical advice on carpet care. I will definitely call them next time as well.

First of all, the owner was kind enough to accommodate an earlier date because of company coming. The team of two arrived on time, got right to work and were finished in 2 hours. The carpets were completely clean, and there was a fresh odor, no perfume - which is really important to us due to respiratory medical needs. The Oriental runners were nicely done as well. I was impressed with the friendly, polite and professional manner of the team. They also properly replaced the heavier furniture pieces we had moved, without our asking. Although the price is somewhat higher than other rug cleaners, given the excellent service and the eco-friendly, non-perfumey cleaning fluid used we think it was worth it, and would definitely use G & G again.

I used G & G Carpet Cleaning in August of 2011. They were extremely professional, very prompt and very courteous. They did an excellent, thorough job and I would definitely use them again.

These people are very pleasant to deal with from start to finish. They were very specific with questions as to the work involved so that no mistakes or misunderstandings could occur. The initial telephone interview was professional and pleasant and covered all the appropriate issues and questions. They then had a complete understanding of the work so they could provide an accurate cost. I was also clear on what they would do and not do on the job. They were pleased to hear that my call was from Angie's List and provided a 20% discount on the work. Upon arrival they were very pleasant, friendly and professional. They set about the work very efficiently and completed everything on time. The result of the cleaning was excellent.

Came on time.. clean the carpet in our bedroom, hallway, living room and a wool area rug in a family room. Very professional. Things got done nice and quick. I like that the guy would prevent his tools to scratch or leave a mark on my house, wipe his shoes and make sure he leave the house clean and nothing else. He came alone for the job so I offered help moving some furniture, so he cleaned my little area rug for free.

Everything has been great. I use this company all the time. They are very responsive and efficient in there work. They are very professional and friendly. I would recommend using this company to anyone.

Two G&G workers arrived promptly at the promised time and worked steadily. They finished 3 bedrooms, hallways, dining area and large living room in barely 3 hours. Because the carpet had not been cleaned for a long time and had several very soiled areas, the workers used extra water pressure. The final results were amazing - spots were removed and even the heavily soiled areas were returned to original color. Workers graciously cleaned two areas a second time when I requested. Huge fans were used to help dry the carpet and the carpet could be walked on with stocking feet by the time workers left. I selected this company partly because their process uses steam rather than solvents in the final cleaning process. Their process does use enzymes for part of the spot cleaning, but the final steam process seemed to leave the carpet cleaner than solvent processes I have experienced. The workers were pleasant, professional, and hard-working. Within 15 minutes after workers left, I received a telephone call from G&G Carpet asking whether I was satisfied with the service and explaining that the carpet was more wet than normal because increased water pressure was needed in order to get the carpet clean. G&G offered to clean the carpet a second time if I was not satisfied. Despite the additional moisture, the carpet was dry enough to replace furniture 24 hours after the carpet was cleaned. I learned that the carpet cleaning would have been easier for G&G if I had not used solvents to remove spots before the G&G arrived. G&G's cleaning process would have removed the spots and their cleaned areas would have blended better than the solvent-cleaned areas I created. Nevertheless, the G&G workers used excellent methods to blend and clean all carpet areas. I recommend G&G Carpet Cleaning and anticipate using their services again for regular carpet cleaning.
