Although they did not have time to clean the whole carpet , as well as carpet in our other rooms today, the owner made a special trip to clean up the dog mess disaster so we would not have to live with the stench for several more days. In addition, he is extremely knowledgeable about how to clean carpets of various types, what to do and what not to do. I highly recommend this company.

They were excellent. They took very good care of everything around where they were working. They were very thorough. After they washed, they spotted things, cleaned them very well, came back, and redid them. If they dried a bit, they went over them with a brush to restore them. I was very pleased with everything they did. I would recommend them to anyone.

Jim responded to my call the same day. He scheduled to clean my carpets the day and time I requested. Then, a few days later when I called to reschedule, he rearranged to the new time I requested. His crew (Alex and Octavio) arrived promptly, did a walk through, and started work. Just after they started, Jim came by to make sure everything was going as planned. They first vacuumed and then cleaned. They moved all furniture, putting foam or plastic under legs after cleaning to protect the newly cleaned carpet. They moved and cleaned under the bed as I requested. They were professional and very pleasant. Jim called again late that day to ask if there were any problems.

He and an other man brought huge blowers and first cleaned the walk of olives--then did the carpets. He worked diligently at the cat spots and they pretty much came up. He also moved our big bed and other big pieces of furniture. We had removed the floor lamps, knick-knacks for tables, etc. He was very professional, thorough, attended to detail and the "house sitter", who is a perfectionist, thought he did a very good job and would definitely recommend him. The owner came with 2 experienced men. He went over any difficult spots in the carpet to let me know what to expect. Unlike previous cleanings from other companies, they moved even heavy items and did a very thorough cleaning. The carpets were protected with foam blocks under furniture when it was replaced on the carpet. Large blowers were used at the end to speed drying time. The Persian carpets were returned within the 2 week estimate. In anticipation of any problems, padding had been calculated to fit under the door when it was opened. The rugs looked brighter and the owner spent time to arrange the rugs and replace furniture to my satisfaction. I was very pleased with the whole process.

It went great! Our carpeting had been installed nine years ago and had just been spot-cleaned as needed over the years. The two men who came to do the work were right on time, were pleasant and professional, and did an excellent job. They inspected each room before starting and said that some of the cat vomit spots might not come out, but all the spots were gone when they finished and have not returned (it has been a month since the cleaning). The hot water extraction system they used removed the dirt without making the carpeting too wet, and they used big fans to help dry the carpeting even faster as they finished each room. The price included a Teflon carpet protector that was applied after the carpeting was cleaned. All furniture that could not be removed from the rooms had protectors placed under the legs to keep them off the carpeting. Their price was in the middle of the estimates we received. We used the coupon on their website.

I called several companies for a price quote and took my rug to one other company before deciding on G & G. The other company would have charged $72 to clean, $50 to $75 to repair, and $15 or $20 for the sealer. In addition to Angie's List, I also checked BBB and ValueStar.

We had several tasks to accomplish prior to moving from our home. G & G collected some rugs for cleaning, steam cleaned the carpets in place at the house, thoroughly cleaned all the tile floors, brightened up some old quarry tile with a special treatment. All of this over a space of time of a few weeks. They were prompt in their responses and scheduling, did outstanding work and went out of their way to ensure excellent results. We are very happy to have discovered G & G through Angie's List and will be happy to use them in the future.
