They arrived on time and took about 3 hours to complete the tasks. After using Coit for many years, G & G would be the first ones I'd call. They cleaned much more thoroughly.

Contacted G&G on a Friday and was booked for the following Monday. Team arrived ontime and were the most curteous and professional that I have ever encountered for carpet cleaners. Their pricing is in the mid to upper range. It wasn't one of the cut-rate places. They did a good job and the carpet looked nice. They were on time and the people were professional. There was nothing bad or exceptional. Overall it was a good experience. I would use them again.

I had carpet in a room I no longer could get clean with my home shampoer, and it is back to clean. I had areas that needed stretching and repair and I am very happy with the appearance of the carpet now. I am very happy with how nice the carpets turned out and the house is so clean.

Their customer service is fabulous. The owner came out to give an estimate and then his crew came and did the work within 24 hours. The two cleaners were courteous and clean - they wore shoe covers. And they moved my sofa into another room without any complaints. Thanks G&G you are one of the old fashioned companies who believe in great customer service and happy clients!

The manager and I discussed the services I chose, and he didn't encourage me to take anything I didn't want. All went well. There were 2 men who wore protective clothing and covers on their shoes. Each man covered his nose and mouth with a mask. They worked very hard. I was very pleased with the quality of their work.

When I contacted Jim via email he called me to give the estimate over the phone, and he is the one that suggested that I use the Angie's List 20% off coupon. I had the living room, dining room, stairs, hallway and office cleaned. All had spots that I was not able to clean on my own using a RugDoctor cleaning unit. The stairs were really bad, and every time I cleaned them the stains came right back. The crew was very friendly and professional - they got to work and everything was cleaned perfectly. I was especially surprised with the great care they took in diligently cleaning the stairs. I was delighted with the result. I will use this company from now on.

Took them 1 1/2 hours to do job - very well done with all spots (from a very large family dog that has free run of house) cleaned except a 2 year old red Kool-Aid stain (from a very large husband that also has free run of the house) that I actually did not expect them to completely erase. Considering carpets had not been cleaned in 5+ years, amazed that carpets now look like new, even behind furniture.

They were very good. I used them only once. They moved the furniture, vacuumed, cleaned the carpets, and put the furniture back. They put the furniture on blocks so that the carpets could dry. The carpets dried very quickly. They worked on some spots and they did a good job. They were friendly, clean, and professional. I will use them again in the future.

Nothing was wrong with them. I am yet to decide if I need to do the work. I was actually impressed with the person that came. He was very punctual. He gave us pretty good assessment of what he could and what he could not. He was pretty thorough. He did not rush of pressurize me.

Jim was great to work with. Friendly,professional and thorough. Very attentive to detail. He put shoe covers on at the end while needing to pick up equipment cords and hoses. He placed protectors under furniture legs with clear instruction of when to safely remove. And he allowed me to use my 20% discount coupon I had found on Angies List for G & G Carpet cleaning so a nice savings deducted from the above spend quote! He will get the job done for you!

It took about 3-4 weeks which is fine because that's how long they told us it would take. A lot of companies take a week or two and you have moth problems and this time we will see if treating the carpet longer will be better. They seem to have done a really good job. We dropped off the rug and picked it up and it went all according to plan. The service was good.

We have used G&G for years. They are always pleasant to work with, concerned about anything that concerns us, such as stubborn spots on the carpet, and very careful as they move furniture. By laying down towels in strategic places and starting at the back of the house, they can leave us with a wonderfully clean carpet in less than 2 hours. They will ask about applying Scotch-Gard and other protective sprays, but are never pushy. The products they use are fresh-smelling and not perfumey - they don't aggravate my asthma and allergies at all.

He didn't get a tight seal on the caulking and this caused a leak through the floor. He did come back to fix the problem, however; it did take a little bit to get him here. The stone work he did was good, which is his true business.

I called on Tuesday at noon to inquire about their services. Isabelle answered and told me that Jim would call back to give me an estimate. I called at 4:50 before they closed, just in case they forgot. Jim answered and told me that he just got back in and was just about to call me. I scheduled an estimate with him for the next day (Wednesday) at "approximately noon to 1 PM." Jim told me he would call me 30 minutes ahead of time, since I live across town from the location being cleaned. The next day, on Wednesday, Jim called at 12:15, stating that he was already on the way. I tried to meet him as quickly as I could, but I arrived at 12:45. He seemed irritated at my tardiness, rushed, and hurried, but otherwise professional. I was quoted $420 for about 1000 sq ft of carpet, including stairs, with no furniture at all in it. (This is a new place that I would begin moving into immediately after they completed their work.) He also talked me into getting Scotchgard for another $50. He asked me when I was moving in, and I told him ASAP after they completed the carpet cleaning. He told me he would try to squeeze me in during the next two days (Thursday or Friday) if somebody cancelled, but otherwise we tentatively scheduled for Monday. They weren't able to squeeze me in on the same week, so it was indeed performed Monday. Two different people (Yorge and Sam, employees of his) showed up to do the cleaning instead. This took me by surprise, but I realized I should have expected this, as Jim was wearing a nice white dress shirt when he showed up?he clearly is just the owner & manager of the rest of the company. Yorge and Sam worked hard and were very meticulous. They scrubbed stains on the carpet very hard until they disappeared. I was quite pleased with their work. Yorge seemed to do most of the grunt work, while Sam seemed to do the handling of the hose and other things. Yorge, the poor guy, seemed to be busting his back in this job, and he did indeed say his back hurts all the time, and that the stairs are particularly difficult on his back. They were very fast?It took them about 90 minutes to complete the work from arrival to departure. In summary, I was quite pleased with the quality of their work. I think the only minus I had about the experience was Jim appearing to be irritated at my tardiness, despite telling me that he would give me 30 minutes notice before meeting him for the estimate. I'm not sure if their prices are on the high end, as I didn't call around. However, assuming their prices are comparable to other local businesses, I'd certainly recommend them again. The carpets don't have a spot on them!

They were very professional, on time and thorough. Also liked that they used environment-friendly supplies. The results were excellent and we will use them again.

We've used them twice. They did a good job. The oriental rugs were expensive and it was several hundred dollars but it was less than if I had gone back to the store. They came on time and did the work. It was good. I would definitely use them again and I plan to.

Jim picked up our rugs and took them to the plant. They were returned in a few days and looked great. Other companies will dry the rugs on frames and leave creases, but G & G never does. They are friendly, have quick service and do wonderful work.
