3 Day Blinds Palm Desert

I live in the Ventura, CA area. The sales person/consultant was 1/2 late without calling. She stated that she was driving and could not call, I did not bring up the concept of hands free calling devices. She gave us 3 options. We liked the shades best to meet our needs to darken the room. In my opinion the cost for 3 windows was almost $1,000.00. They charged for delivery and for installation; some competitors don't. They don't have a showroom

We use them a lot. It would not be the top great because I had to notify on at least 3 occasions on when they would be charging the card. She never let us know; I had to go above her and find out. It was a huge inconvenience. Their quotes always beat all the other companies. I got 4 quotes and they beat them all. Each time we have called them out it has been a different person to show up.

Excellent. It's been about a year and a half. It was very expensive. I think it was $500 a window. They could have been cheaper or faster. They were suppose to come before Christmas and they came about a month after.

It was fine. I had an issue with a part breaking. I can either get someone in to repair it for $85 or I can go to a location that is out of the way and fix it for free. What I want is someone to come out and fix it for free. I think if you pay that much money and it is not a cheap blind they should give some more customer service, especially it being the second time I used them. They are not the cheapest. I was happy to use them after the first time but not this time.

They were fine. They were pricey, but they were just the most convenient, that is why I ended up going with them.

It was fine; it was a long time ago. The quality seemed good. It was a painless purchase. I think they delivered on what they promised.

It was fine. It was great, very good service. I've actually had them twice. I've had them once and then the more recent ones. Overall I give them a B on that one just because the lady measured wrong and so then I had to go through getting it but they were excellent about doing it right and I actually got an upgrade. I am not complaining about it in that sense but it was having to do things more than once. So that is the only reason I am doing a B on that one. The second time, no problem at all. Actually I give them an A on the service because even though she made a mistake, they did do everything in their power to fix it and did it right away.

Their price was a little higher. I had to cancel one of the orders because they messed it up. That was a first for them. I have used them for years. I won't use them again. I have recommended them to my church because I had used them when I lived there, and they got a very curt response that they don't serve that area. I lived in Englewood just down the street, they furnished all the blinds in my home, and they did a beautiful job. I was prepared to pay them to put blinds in our church and they just very curtly responded they don't serve the area. I am done with them.

It was good, they were quick. I would use them again.

It went well. The price was good. The only thing that wasn't great was the installation. I'm very satisfied with the product but the installer was mediocre. It wasn't installed as clean so I redid it.

They did my house in 2012. They were great. Everything was exactly the way that they told me it would be, they came out right on time, I have no issues with them whatsoever. The blinds was great, usable.

We were mostly happy. We couldn't order blinds for the size of the window that we had, other than that we were happy.

I had some problems afterwards. There was a problem with the little turn things. The lady was wonderful, she spent a lot of time with me because I am just incompetent about the colors and style, but then when we ended up going up it was not quite as convenient as I thought it would be. There were all these cords so I decided I wanted to change the cords to sticks. She had done a really good job, but I think she was a little inexperienced and hadn't thought it all the way through if they will help me get exactly what I wanted. I am happy with the blinds, they are really nice, and I like them. They add a lot to the house. I like the way they are simply put up and easy to take down as well if I have to do some painting. It is very easy to dismantle them. The work was very good, and they held up nicely, it is just that some of the sticks were glued. It came loose and some of them wouldn't turn, and so they sent me extra ones, and some of them wouldn't match. I guess the sticks are a problem.

On my own I paid for it. I needed less light in here in the mornings and they did a great job of that too. They are great all around. I will definitely use them again if I have another need for blinds of any of type.

It seemed to be expensive. I would less likely use them in the future.

"3 Day Blinds" was a 3 month ordeal. When the installer arrived to hang the initial order, he informed me that the factory didn't ship all the necessary parts to hang the accompanying valances, so only blinds were hung. 2nd install appointment, the valances were installed, but within days, the blinds were being damaged as they rolled up and down leading to a 3rd install appointment. When I ordered two additional blinds, the wrong color was delivered. Reorder took weeks. The worst part was the lack of communication on the company's part, and when I requested that a manager contact me, that didn't happen either. The "3 Day" name is a ploy. There's nothing special about the quality of their product, and when the quality of their service is even worse, go elsewhere.

Worst company I ever worked with!!! Customer service is rude!!! Poor quality of motorized custom shades!!! 2 times came to install the damaged motorized shades... 2 times they brought shades that didn't work!!!! The measurement of the windows was done poorly!!! One of the shade way to big. Seconed time - again way too big!! Installer insist to hang it even though it was too big and by doing so- damaging my wall. I am waiting for 4 weeks for the company to replace the shades but... They don't call me back!!! The sale person who sold me the shades (Amiee) doest care!!! I am waiting and waiting and waiting but.. Company doesn't call me back Poor quality Poor service Never use them!!! Never pay them in advance!!!

Please get a general quote first when you make your appointment. ("About how much would it cost to ...") I experienced severe sticker shock after an hour with the design consultant, Ioana, choosing patterns and measuring. Once she wrote it out, it was over $1700. She did give me a -300 discount after my eyes got big. I chose a 'busy" cotton material that makes the room really pop. They look exactly like I anticipated they would. She had a question about a slight irregularity at one of the windows, so she had the installer come out and re-measure just in case, and I was impressed by that. I met with the consultant on 5/23/15 and my blinds were installed on 6/13/15, when it was anticipated they would not be ready until near the end of June. They look absolutely great! Perfectly seated within the sill and the pattern is symmetrical on all sides. And the installer spent time with me ensuring I knew the different operational features. I am sorry in the least.

The blinds were delivered on time and installed by a installer that did a good job. My complaint is with the person that sold them to me a Mr. Jim Nelson. My living room window is quite wide and Mr. Nelson said they didn't make rods that long any more so they would have to install two rods and then half of the blinds would have to be opened from one end of the room and the other half from the other side of the room. The same with tilting the blinds half from each end of the window. Not ideal but I said okay because I didn't have any other choice. The night after I signed the contract I was thinking about it and I wondered if the new blinds could use the old existing hardware and then they wold work as they had before controlling opening and closing and tilting the blinds from just one end of the window. I wasn't sure they could do that so I called Mr. Nelson and asked him. He said he wasn't sure and didn't seem too keen on the idea, but said I could talk to the installer when he came to install the blinds. I also asked if there would be some reduction in price since the installer wouldn't have to install two new sets of hardware and I wouldn't need those two sets of hardware if it could be done using the old hardware. Mr. Nelson said he didn't think there would be any reduction. To make a long story short the installer said sure he could do what I asked and he did and it works great but he told me that I would have to take the hardware he didn't use. I said I didn't have any use for it but he said I should take it so he put it in my garage. I then called Mr. Nelson and told him and asked if there would be any price reduction, he said he would have to check and get back to me I also asked him to send me copies of a couple of documents that I signed on his computer. He said at the time he would email them to me but he never did. Well I never heard from him again. I've called him 3 or 4 times and left messages for him because I always get his answering machine but he has never called back. I would never do business with him again!

Within a week we got a call that the blinds were in and ready to install. Made an appointment and a few days later, the installer arrived on time and installed the blinds. It only took a few minutes as the windows were small. He was very nice and did a good job with the installation.

Assisted with selection of window coverings to avoid my previous mistakes. Took measurements, offered options, installed several days earlier than anticipated-which is a good thing.

Great service. High price but that is to be expected from a name-brand chain like this. Normally I would want to shop around more on something like this but just wanted to get it done. Other than price, this is a great company in terms of service. Jimmy the designer was easygoing and friendly, a consummate salesperson. It was his easiest sale in a while I'm sure. Installer did great also.

They were so much over priced. I would never use them again. The guy who came over to do the work was good. He was in and out. He did a beautiful job and cleaned up all my himself. Installation was great and blinds were nice, but they were overpriced.

I waited in my home from 1:45 on the appointed day. No one came. Finally at 3:45, a woman called to say that they were running behind and that the installer would be late. I asked how late and how long the installation would take as I had a 7:00 appointment that evening. She said she would call back within 15 minutes. An hour later (4:45) I called the company since I had not received a call. I got Voicemail informing me that their Customer Service office closed at 4, but that I could leave a message. I left a message. Ten minutes later the same woman called back and said that the installer could arrive between 5 and 5:30 and the installation would take no more than an hour. She had no explanation for why she had not called back. At 5:45 I called again as no one had arrived. Again I got voicemail. Ten minutes later, the installer called and said he was stuck in traffic and we would have to reschedule. We rescheduled for Thursday morning at 8. I sent an e-mail to the sales rep since I was not able to reach anyone on the phone. He responded right away and was apologetic and asked me to follow up and let him know when the work was done. He copied two other people-- one of whom was a Customer Service rep. I never heard from anyone else at 3-Day Blinds to acknowledge the inconsiderate customer service and scheduling. The installer showed up on time Thursday morning. The installation took 2 1/2 hours (so glad he didn't try to do it Tuesday night after 5). He was unaware of the minor repair I had asked for, so it was not done. The blinds are fine (though they have a strange odor which I hope will go away). Again I e-mailed the sales rep to ask about the minor repair. He confirmed that I had ordered it and should get it, but that was three days ago and I have not heard from them since. I just felt that the company had no regard for my time and little interest in treating customers with respect. They do not seem to need my business and I will not use them again.

Came in the door and started right to work. Professional and knew what he was doing and the final product is absolutely beautiful.
