3 Day Blinds Palm Desert

They had the best bid for the job compared to other service providers. I just didn't use there service I completed the job myself. They were very professional, prompt, and the quality of product was good. If I used the service I would have used them.

I think this place is gone now, but I wasn't overly impressed with 3-Day Blinds, in general. First, the previous poster is correct, there's absolutely nothing about the place that happens in 3 days, so the name is pretty misleading. Second, service was spotty. I definitely expected better given what I spent. After having measurements taken, etc. I called regarding the status of my blinds only to find out they had neglected to place the order. I got a lame apology for the delay, but nothing for my inconvenience (could have at least given a small discount!). In the end, when the blinds finally arrived, they were just okay. There was the forementioned gap but no one seems to notice it but me, so I wasn't furious enough to demand they replace it. Quite honestly, by that point, I just wanted to be done with the entire experience. So, not a complete bust, but I wouldn't use any 3-Day blinds again.

Work was not done. Estimate. Arrived on time. Gave me some suggestions -- not many. Estimated cost was $6,300.

Pushy from start to finish, overpriced by $1044.56 on a $3k job. When confronted with high estimates, and lack of membership on either Better Business Bureau or Angie's List, saleswoman could not come up with a reasonable explanation as to their lack, just the sales pitch: "We've been around a long time".

TERRIBLE. I have LITERALLY NEVER been so mistreated on several different levels than I have from this company. All the way from the 1800 customer service line giving misinformation about who is the regional manager to report this to, to the store manager accusing me of calling multiple times and hanging up on me. When in fact, I was upset, but it was my first call to the Frisco store. I really believed, due to location, my rep would come from Farmers Branch. I did find out who the regional manager was, reported it to them and was assured she would be in contact, never was. When I said I was getting a competitors bid as well, I was told "That's probably best", I thought his management would be interested in knowing that he is basically encouraging profit to go somewhere else instead of saying "We sorry to hear that" or "What can we do". VERY RUDE AND THEY DON'T CARE WHETHER THEY GET YOUR BUSINESS OR NOT. USE SOMEONE ELSE, ANYONE ELSE. I hear their quality is not that great either.

I really liked the lady that came out to my home and measured the windows. She was very professional and accommodating. I liked the way they took they installed both the virtual wood blind and the cell shade and then tested them. They did excellent quality work. It was a wonderful experience. The price was a good deal because it included the installation.

Very pleased. They delivered what they said they would. The gentleman made sure we were completely satisfied. Very customer-oriented. I would recommend this company to anyone because from the initial sales contact, to the window measurement specialist and the installer, they were all professional. They always called to find out what was a convenient time for us to have them over and they showed up on time. The salesman at the store was patient because I really wasn't sure what type of blinds I was looking for when I walked in the store. He explained everything and helped me look through the many samples. They were great to work with and we will use them again.

The blinds were delivered within 2 days. The sales rep was professional but I did not see any effort for detail. The boxes were delivered all strewn on the door. Opened the box-instructions were missing and the blind slates were all falling apart. The quality of the blinds were different from what was expected. Disappointing is the only word I can say.

The window treatments that she suggested are great. I would have never chosen them by myself. The installation went very smoothly. They showed up on time, installed them properly, and cleaned up, after themselves well.

I didn't choose 3 Day Blinds for several reasons: 1. The sales person didn't seem to really understand my needs; 2. The price quote was over 2 times the amount I ended up paying for a superior product offered by another local company; 3. The sales person really put on a "sales pitch" but didn't really seem to understand his products; 4. Installation through this company was more than 2 times the amount I ended up paying by using a local company.

Put it this way, I do not think that I would use this company again. Now, the blinds themselves are very good but the company was just barely OK. Actually, they were terrible. First they had my wrong address down and the installation took much longer than I had anticipated. It was just a bunch of run around and no one would ever get in touch with me. I just was not very happy at all.

We chose this company because they custom made the honey comb blinds I wanted to fit perfectly. The workers were pleasant and careful during the installation. The blinds are great, just what I wanted and I recommend them.

We are very unhappy. Measuring and choosing the blinds was easy. They came into the house and spent many hours helping us choose. We gave a down payment of about 25% and a few days later, weeks before the blinds were expected to arrive, they demanded the entire payment. We offered to give another 50% but asked to hold back the remainder until the blinds were delivered and installed. We felt that this was reasonable to insure quality workmanship. The owner of the franchise threatened us and left multiple angry phone calls. Finally, the blinds were delivered after we agreed to pay one day in advance with a credit card. Several of the blinds were damaged, missing pieces and one did not work at all. We were treated shabbily by a rude and angry local manager. The service was miserable and the product defective. We would NEVER do business with them again.

The company charged us for measuring, which was fine. We made it quite clear that we did not want their marketing sticker on the blinds and all four blinds had the sticker upon installation. When I called the store to verify that we did not want their marketing sticker on our new blinds, they were EXTREMELY condescending towards me as a female caller. This was minor, however when the extra long window blind did not work within one week of installation, two calls to the store were never returned. Lastly, the name is a fallacy. It took about three weeks from order to installation. The installer did a fine job, it's the company I would NEVER call again.

We had a pleasant experience. The consultant came to our home to discuss options. He was very helpful in assisting us in our choices and was very knowledgeable. He used a computer program to help us see what our blinds would look like on the windows. We placed our order and it was delivered to our house. Upon opening the boxes we found several blinds to be damaged. We contacted the store and they arranged to have the picked up and new ones delivered. We paid to have the blinds installed. The installer was on time and completed the job in two visits because of the damaged parts.

Mark showed up on time and was wonderful. We explained what we needed in both the bedroom and family room and Mark gave us several options for both. The bedroom was easy, but the family room was a little more difficult. We ended up choosing a blackout honeycomb shade for the bedroom that would give us the darkness we wanted and the ability to open top and bottom. In the family room the decor and privacy were both concerns. The woven wood shade with a morocco-copper color turned out to be exactly what we needed. The shades arrived one week earlier than expected and were actually installed within two days of arrival. They were shipped directly to the house. The installer was great. He installed both items quickly and efficiently. Greg explained how everything worked and gave me several options. At this point both items meet and exceed our expectations. I thought they were expensive, but well worth the price.

I had an appointment with them. I took time off from work and they didn't show up. I found out later they had transferred my appt. to a store closer to my home but didn't let me know until it was too late. Apparently they did this the morning of the appointment and the other store didn't know anything about it until it was too late to contact me. They asked to reschedule but by that time I was angry and didn't want to.

Very poor service. Long waits, delivery to home, large boxes sat in entry for weeks (too heavy for husband or I to move), confrontation needed to have curtains installed before valences delivered.

I went into the showroom on a Monday, and the salesperson assured me that the blinds would DEFINITELY be sent to me within one week. I made it very clear that time was of the essence, and he kept assuring me that there would be no problem. I followed up a couple of times that week and was told the same thing. A week passed and no blinds. Many phone calls and excuses about factory problems later, I got a hold of a very efficient regional manager who was actually helpful. She even offered temporary paper blinds to use while waiting for the shades. Overall, it took over 2 weeks for the blinds to be ready, and I had to drive over an hour away to Anaheim to pick them up. The salesperson (Ron) was totally useless, but the manager was great. However, I think the name is grossly misleading. The only reason I went there was for expediency; if I had known it was going to take so long, I definitely would have gone somewhere else and spent half the price.

Two shades on a common head rail were cut to different sizes due to length entry error. Incorrect shades were replaced after some dispute as to the source of the error. I installed the shades myself. It's not difficult to do. I'm happy with my work there.

They came to measure the windows the afternoon of the same day we visited the retail store and we received the shades ten days later and had them installed the following day. So far they look and operate fine.

We submitted the measurements after getting measuring instructions from the sales associate at 3-Day and the windows did differ slightly, so the three shades had to be slightly different in size. They were made correctly, fit well, and look good. We installed them and had no problem.

We have used 3 Day Blinds two times now. We called for estimate (call in advance!) and took us a while to get appointment for someone to come measure. Once person came to measure, blinds did take a while (I have no idea how they get away with their name- there is nothing 3 day about it) but they are quite nice, they were helpful in choosing what works best and they are relatively inexpensive.

Jennifer arrived on time & with samples, and we spent time going over the look I wanted & how it would look with my house style & colors I had already chosen for the walls & carpeting. She was extremely helpful & patient. I chose the Ultima dual cell honeycomb shade for all the rooms to maintain uniformity, and I am very pleased with the outcome. I did the installation of the blinds myself. The instructions were very clear, & it was easy to do. It took about 3 weeks from the time I ordered them until I received them via UPS.

We were happy with the blinds in our kitchen but the slats themselves were starting to show their age and the cord was stained. Three Day Blinds no longer has retail outlets here, so a representative came out to give us an estimate for a whole new set of blinds. Her first estimate was over $400, and we told her that was more than we intended so she came up with an estimate of $214 to replace the slats and the cord. She gave us a time frame and told us the installer would call. The installer never called, so i called them. They sent someone out who did a fine job, only the blinds had been incorrectly ordered and the cord was the wrong cord and did not fit. The installer took the cord but not the wrong blinds, which he left up and disposed of our old blinds. He said someone would call. No one ever called me; I always had to be the one to call. I called the installer after a week or two and was told that the exchange was not authorized by corporate. I had to call the corporate office several times to get authorization for the exchange. I called the installer again, and they said they had the correct slats. I asked them to also check to make sure the installer had the cord and they said he did. The installer came out as scheduled, but did not have the cord, only the slats. At that point, we told him to install the slats since we did not have the old ones. We called 3 Day Blinds and asked for a refund, which they refused. After several calls, we were told we would get a refund for the cord and extra labor. The refund never came so I filed a dispute with my bank for the refund. In August (two months after the refund) I got a cheerful call from the installers telling me my cord was in, and did I want to set up an installation appointment! I told them, no I cancelled the cord and was given a refund. 3Day Blinds used to be great. Sadly, in my case, those days are over. I would never consider using them again. Their grade went from A to F in my book.
