Brian showed up on time and was very honest and friendly. He performed the seasonal maintenance on our AC which was installed a few years ago by a different company. I appreciate that he gave us an honest assessment of our system. He was very thorough in what he did, going through each component. We have a split air return system and the original installers had blocked off one side to meet the SEER rebate requirements, but makes the noise level a little louder. I asked Brian if we should open up the 2nd side and he took the time to do an evaluation without charging us extra. We were very happy with the service and price we got and feel we can trust Brian. We'll be using Absolute Air from now on.

They were prompt, courteous, reasonably priced & fixed my A/C so I could enjoy my holiday weekend.

Everything went well. Brian, the owner, is cordial and does a good job. Plan to use him in the future for all my aircon and heating needs.

Earlier this year we had someone staying in our house while we were away and they had problems with the AC, so they called someone out to fix it who said that our system "was on its last leg" and "won't make it through another summer." They went on to recommend various AC systems we should buy to replace our current one. Since then we haven't had any problems, but thought it would be good to get some other opinions. Since Absolute AC was highly recommended here, we decided to have them out to see what they thought. Brian and his associate were out this morning, did a thorough check and told us that everything was fine and that our system could last another five years with proper maintenance and service. He said there was no reason at this point to think about replacing it, which we were very happy to hear.

When Brian was done fixing the initial problem he said he wanted to come back to do a tune up and overall check of the both systems (we have two separate systems), and made a follow up appointment around my schedule. He returned, on time, a week later and thoroughly checked everything, changed another set of filters at no charge, and screwed some of my ducting back together that I did not know was coming apart (again, no charge). He kept me informed of his findings at all times, his assistant was very pleasant as well. Professional, really friendly and easy to talk to, punctual, reasonable. Absolutely outstanding. We will not use anyone else going forward.

Wonderful experience. Brian responded immediately to my online request for service and gave me his first available appointment as promised. He showed up between the hours promised and was vey fast, thorough, and gave me a full report on my ac unit after performing the tune up. Couldn't be happier with Absolute Air!

Brian is one of the most prompt professionals I have had the pleasure of dealing with. he shopped for the best, most efficient unit for my home. His attitude was what you would want from a homeowners point of view. He and his associate, started and finished on time and cleaned up after themselves. The work areas were left in better shape than when they arrived. When all of the project was finished he took the time to sit with me while I entered the warranty and Guaranty in the computer. Brian returned my phone call within the 2 hours. He arrived at the scheduled time. He was very professional and did an excellent job of getting my air conditioner ready for our 120 degree summer days. It worked night and day for three months with no problems. I would definitely hire him again!

Seriously, I can't believe I am even writing this review, but I am compelled to do so. Having just moved here from Anaheim Hills my wife and I have been ripped off by one service provider after another. Seems as though they know seniors are relatively easy prey. We tend to trust people too much! I joined Angie's List for just that reason, and it certainly paid off. I had had two other air conditioning specialists come out and they both said a new unit was almost an necessity at this point. Enter Brian. To say I was skeptical is an understatement, but Brian actually called immediately and said he could come out early if I wished. He said that after I told him we could wait, but my wife's 89 year old mother couldn't. He put us in between another appointment and dinner. He got dinner late by coming to my home when he did. Brian asked all the questions he should have, and he agreed with me that if the unit wouldn't start at all it was probably a fuse or breaker, something the others dismissed instantly. Brian came in, checked the batteries on the thermostats, opened the fuse box to check fuses, and finally opened the unit itself. He found a $30.00 condenser part that was broken and replaced it. He then checked our filters, etc., and when done promised to come back next week to replace the emergency fuse box by the unit. That has been bad, and wires were looking cooked brown. At the end of his work an hour later he went to his truck to write up his bill, which based on other contractors doing same scared me a bit. When he handed me the bill I almost fell over. I expected it to be at least $400.00, but WOW, it was only $125.00! Can you believe that? $125. 00. If you live in this area, do not even consider another company for "Air Conditioning service!" "ABSOLUTE AIR CONDITIONING" is as professional as they come, and even more valuable, HE IS HONEST! Incidentally, we live in the Tierra Vista Estates in Palm Desert, in case you are wondering. My air conditioner went out last Saturday and I waited until Monday to call Absolute Air. The soonest he could come out was Wednesday which was OK with me. He could have come out earlier if it was an emergency but I told them I could wait. Brian, the owner came out exactly when he said he would. After explaining to him that I thought my condenser unit went out, and was thinking it was going to be a $4,000 job, he immediately diagnosed the problem as a burned out capacitor. He replaced the capacitor and turned the unit on and it worked. Wow was I surprised and happy. He told me the unit probably has a few more years of life in it. He cleaned the outside of it and then replaced my air filter in the house for free. He could have easily told me it was a bad condenser unit and I would have paid the $4,000. I am pretty handy around the house and can usually fix things myself but I'm not that knowledgable when it comes to air conditioning units. I'm saying this because even I would have believed him if he said it was a bad condenser unit and would have paid the money to fix it. I live in the Palm Springs area where the temperatures right now are around 110 degrees so we need air conditioning. Brian was so honest and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. There aren't many business owners I trust as everybody it seems is out to screw you. Brian however is a different kind of owner who believes in being honest and truthful with his customers. He knocked off $20 for telling him I found him through Angie's List also. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs air conditioning service.

I felt Brian was honest and reasonable. We called Absolute A/C & Heating to get a second opinion on our A/C system. We just had a different company perform the A/C maintenance. The other company said that our A/C system had a leak, which seemed odd since the technician couldn't / wouldn't show us any evidence of the leak. No gauges to show low pressure, no visual Freon stains, etc. Thus we decided to join Angie's list and look for a reputable firm to get another opinion. We chose Absolute A/C based on the reviews. Brian came out promptly. He showed us the readings on the gauges and the leak detector. He confirmed our suspicions about the other firm. They were trying to take advantage of my parents (who are in their 80's) by recommending almost $3000 worth of work that was totally unnecessary. It is so sad how you can't trust some firms. We will be using Absolute A/C & Heating from now on for our HVAC needs. Thank you.

Very professional and explains options, parts, and services. Perfectionist in work, and pays extreme attention to detail. Knows exactly where to look and what to do, and the path to take in the future. Would recommend to anyone. Is very honest about pricing and expenses, such as when to buy, and exactly what work can be done and the options that are available.

I was very disappointed by this service. They were very professional, arrived timely and were friendly. But they first informed me that my Furnace has a major leak and needed to be completely replaced. Then, after further review, told me it could be repaired. Then they told me I had almost no refrigerant left in my air conditioner, which was only 2 months old. When I asked how that can be, they said I could have a leak under the house and I would have to have them come back and do a full diagnostic to determine where the leak was. I told them to write this all up and I would contact my home warranty company, since the air conditioner was brand new. When the repairman from the warranty company came, he said we had almost 100% full refrigerant and fixed the leak on the furnace piping with some glue. 6 months later I had a different company come in to do a maintenance check, and STILL have close to 100% refrigerant levels in the air conditioner and the furnace, while old, is still operating effectively. So I am convinced Absolute Air tried to sell me goods I did not need (they said the cost of the new furnace could be up to $8,000!) so DO NOT trust them! Make sure you get a second opinion.

Brian came on time and evaluated the situation. In the case of the heater, he wanted to order our specific board rather than use a generic one so it took a couple of days. We were headed out of town so it was fine. It was fixed early the following week. With the a/c, when I first called, he said he was booked for pretty much the rest of the week and asked if he could come the following week. At first I agreed and then called him back. He had offered to fit us in if it became urgent. It did and he came the following morning and spent a couple of hours doing the job.

He did a wonderful job. cleaned up everything before he left. He did anything that was necessary. If I ever have a problem in the future he would be the one the I would go to.

They came out when they said they would. They stayed here until the job was finished. The guy who came was knowledgeable and did a good job. We will probably hire them to do our air conditioning since they were so good.

Brian arrived on time on 11/7/12, checked out our air conditioning system, which was not cooling at all, and then gave us a detailed explanation of the problems, which were many. He then described our choices to fix the problems - repair or replace. We had already decided to replace the system if the unit had major issues, which it did. So Brian gave us choices as to good replacement units, and then that night emailed us all of the info about the two replacement units he recommended, including the total cost of purchase and installation for each. We made a choice and emailed Brian back that night with the understanding that he would install the unit the next day. He called in the morning of 11/8/12 to confirm he would be at our home at 10 am to start the installation, and that the unit would be delivered after that time. All went perfectly, and by 3 pm we had air conditioning. He was very easy to work with, definitely knew his stuff, and took great pride in his work. We knew that we had certainly made a great choice in selecting him to do this work. We would recommend him and plan on using him as our regular heating and cooling serviceman.

The owner, Brian McGough, made an appointment for the very next day and showed up promptly for the service call. After a thorough assessment he made a prompt diagnosis and had everything he needed on his truck to quickly fix the problem and restore cool to my home. He had eveything done and cleaned up in less than an hour. He patiently explained a lot to me about my a/c system and why it stopped cooling and the necessary steps to keep things running smoothly in the future. I will definitely have him back on an annual basis for the recommended maintenance. I found Brian and Absolute Air Conditiong and Heating to be exceptional in service, quality, and value. Found Absolute on Angie's List. I was not completely happy with an evaluation by a previous AC company and wanted a second opinion. No urgency involved. Called Absolute / Brian and left a message. I got a response a few hours later and a rranged for an equipment assessment two days later with a service appointment to follow. Brian came out on a Saturday morning to evaluate the equipment and discuss a game plan. Once we agreed on a game plan Brian and his assistant (very technically competent) came back on Monday to do the preventative maintenance work to two three ton compressor units. Work involved replacing several key components to both units and installing new fan motors and blades, hard start kits, capacitors, sound blankets over the compressor units and a couple of other items. All in all it took about four hours. When the work was done the compressor units were significantly quieter and the system performed / cooled more efficiently. The first company wanted to replace both systems at a cost of about $20k. While our current system is getting older and will need to be replaced in the future, Absolute's work has extended the life of the existing system and perhaps gotten us into the next window of technology. Absolutely would recommend Absolute. Courteous, informative down to earth guys you can trust. The say what they'll do and then do what they say.

within five minutes of arrival and looking at unit Brian & Matt knew what was wrong. Informed me what needed to be done and upon my approval replaced the fan motor. I have had other AC professionals address the same problem but they never fixed it. In and out under one hour. Great Job and plan on using them to replace the whole AC/Heating system next year. I contacted absolute air to fix our AC. Brian answered the call and made the appointment for the same day. He showed up on time and gave us a call when he was underway. He was professional, knowledgable and did a good job. He was accomodating and postpone his lunch to get our AC running ASAP. I would use him again and recommend him to all my friends.
