Itzak designed a perfect grill for our tall windows. They are great, but we did have some glitches with installation. The first installer broke the grill and proposed to weld and repair it onsite. We did not want welding done on our porch for safety reasons, so it went back to the shop for repair. The second crew cancelled their first appointment several hours late, but came the next day and did an outstanding job. The final result is great. Itzak has a good eye for design.

I choose two gates in a trellis style infill design. Painted in a brown color that match the wood fencing. I was thrilled with the outcome.

Fantastic service... and also a no cost follow up visit service to correct security locks on gates where there may have been some ground movement 6 months after installation. Izak was on time and provided a clear schedule of events. I may had him install fencing around the rest of my property when I have paid off my first installation.

Overall it went very well. They were here on time and did the work professionally. There was one problem with a water pipe underground that leaked as a result of the installation. They came back and repaired the damage.

Izik came over to give us an estimate. Although we had ideas Izik was very creative and designed three 8" gates and fencing that gave us a better sense of security. Izik also helped us design the gates and they are very attractive as they are effective. The quality of the materials used is obvious including the Schlage double cylinder locks (other estimates charged more for quality locks) and heavy duty hydraulic closer's The crew that installed the 8' high gates and fence were very professional and worked fast.. The frames for the gates were sunk into concrete. The fence connecting to our neighbor included Izik adding a 3' 2" section to the neighbor's fence in order to secure the whole area. When I called Izik about a scheduled vacation being very close to the estimated time the gates were to installed he moved the installation date so there would be no conflict.

Izik is very knowledgeable. Was on time. Took measurements. Explained everything. He is a very nice person. The crew came on time and installed the railings, that went well, but the paint job was not good. It took weeks to get them back, but when they did return, the repairs went fast and well done. The crew were very nice people.

The rep (Isaac) came at the scheduled time and had employees within 24 hours. Polite, clean, experienced and friendly. The job was done beyond my hopes.

He was very professional. After listening to me he sketched out possible designs for front door and steps. Suggested design and was willing to let me look through many other designs to make sure I was satisfied. Installation was smooth and satisfactory (more than).

All phases went smoothly. Service good. Will use in the future!

The service was first class from start to finish. Izik came and gave us a bid right on time. The work was scheduled and installed right on time. The crew did an outstanding job. The finished product was exactly what we wanted. We recommend them to anyone whomight be considering. They may not be the cheapest but if you want the work done properly Izik is your guy.

Isik was patient when coordinating with the concrete work I was having done, and his office staff (Shelly) was very kind and generous with her time. Fabrication went fairly quickly (approx. 10 days) and installation was effortless - on my part anyway. His team was perfection. Quick, professional and knowledgeable. There was no mess. No damage. The job was absolutely perfect and I will be using this company again for future work I have planned on the property. Couldn't be happier.

I called the company for an estimate to fence & gate the front of my house and was very pleased to know that someone would be able to do that during the time frame that I specified. The President of the company came to my house to give a free estimate and was prompt, courteous, and enthusiastic about creating a functioning work of art at my house. He actually designed and drew the fence on paper as he provided the estimate so I had a clear picture of what to expect. He suggested I use a similiar pattern to a small piece of railing I have at an upper level balcony window which is something I hadn't considered. He gave me added helpful information on how to take care of the saltillo tiles on my patio, and how to maintain the black paint on the outdoor lanterns on the main concrete fence. He gave me a very fair and decent estimate, this I know because I have called 3 other companies in the past with no luck. One company came, didn't even bother to take measurements and called me on the phone with an exorbitant price. The other two companies came (late) to the house, took measurements and never called me back. The workmanship was superb, fantastic, and exceeded my expectations. I was a little nervous that the saltillo tile on my patio would get cracked during installation of the fence but it did not. In fact, it looks as though the fence has always been there and was definitely meant to be there. I believe this project has added more $$$ to the value of my home than what I spent on the project, so it was well worth it. This was a very positive experience with no sales pressure at all and I am going to call this company again when it is time to install wrought iron fencing in my back yard. I didn't even have to pay a single dime until the whole job was installed and complete! And it was installed and complete exactly on time as the company promised. Now that's proof that this company knows they are providing quality service at a fair price! I love my new fence & gates & hand railing and am recommending this company to everyone I know!

About the only good thing I can say about Universal Iron Works is that they do good work. However, it took them significantly longer to produce and install our new gate than they had promised. Moreover, when they painted our existing gates, we were told that the paint would dry in just a few hours. Thus, we did not cancel our gardeners, who were scheduled to come the following day. Unfortunately, the paint apparently had NOT dried by then, and grass clippings stuck to the bottom portion of one of the gates. We immediately called Universal to tell them about the problem. We were told to wait two weeks, and then wipe the gate down with a damp sponge. If that didn't remove the clippings, they said they would come out to make the repair. After two weeks, we did as we were told, but the clippings did not come off. When we called to let Universal know that we would need them to make the repair, they told us they would do it for an additional $245 (which we declined)! When we explained that we felt misled about the drying time and asked if they would please reconsider the $245 additional fee, they never returned our call. I think it's safe to say that we will not be doing business again with Universal Iron Works.

WORK WAS QUICK, AND THEY FOLLOWED MY DESIGNS TO THE LETTER. THE PRICE WAS ADEQUATE TO THE LEVEL OF CUSTOM WORK REQUIRED. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE IN THE COMMUNITY.
