Description of Work: We had Universal Iron Works construct and install an outdoor hand railing up 15 steps to our front door. We also had them construct and install a smaller 4 step railing for a much shorter flight of outdoor steps. The owner of the company met with us and took measurements and showed us a good selection of photos of work he had done in the past. He was creative, helpful and conscientious, in both designing the railing and in having it fabricated. The men who installed it were prompt and they did a great job of making it safe and beautiful to look at. We were very pleased with the work done by Universal Iron Works and would recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: We had a gate built across a driveway, incorporating existing fencing. The engineering was a little tricky because of the uneven grade of the driveway, but the gate was well-constructed and installed so that it operated well. They also finished the fencing for us in other areas of the yard.

Description of Work: Izik came out and gave me an estimate. He showed samples and took dimensions. The price wasn't the lowest but Izik was courteous and professional and seemed to know exactly what I wanted. The railing was installed today and I love it. I would definitely use this company again.

Description of Work: They made and installed 1 side iron gate and a decorative main entrance iron gate which has an archway which extends 8 feet high over the gate and which will easily hold a vine. They also made a decorative window flower box about 4 feet long. All of the iron work was brown to match the trim on my Tudor-style house. Also, all of the iron work is very solid and attractive. I have received many compliments on the project.

Description of Work: He drew the design for the gates and fabricated them exactly to his drawing. It was amazing how talented he and his crew are. The installation crew was very professional and had it up and functioning within the day.

Description of Work: Ever notice how some 'contractors' are late for appointments, don't return phone calls, don't finish the work on time and as promised...etc Well. This company and Izak did and does everything that you ask them to do, on time. He is fair, professional, ethical, reasonable and follows thru with everything...it was a pleasure having him and then his workers in my home. On top of that the work they did looks great, so great that my friend who is an interior designer is using him for her work
