Greg and crew arrived on scene at the agreed upon time and immediately began working with the job completed in less than 5 hours. Greg's motto is that he does the job in your home, just like he would do it in his own home. We couldn't agree more! All work was completed efficiently and professionally. The area was cleaned thoroughly with no evidence that wires had been run through the outside wall nor the ceiling. Very neat job and he is now our electrician of choice. He even made minor modifications to a kitchen cabinet to house a wine cooler. A real jack of all trades!!

I've used Greg a few times previously. He's always very prompt and very honest about how to fix the problem. Great service.

Greg met us at our home, on time and ready to go. He looked at the area where the house fan was to be installed and realized the project may be a more challenging than most typical house fan installations. Despite the challenge, he estimated a cost and told us it would be no more than $x and noted that in a contract. He was there the following week (a time that was best for us) to install the fan. He was in and out in about 3 hours and it continues to work perfectly. We would definitely use Sconce in the future should we need any electrical assistance.

I would take the highest rating and add ten. They had a great attitude, they were willing to work with us, and they were flexible. I called him four weeks later because I thought there was a problem and he was willing to come out that afternoon. I have nothing but great things to say about them.

Greg gave us a "new" kitchen! Once he removed the old florescent light box, and installed the drywall, I knew we were in for a beautiful makeover. I first called Greg of Sconce Electric when my vacuum cleaner shorted out, and I lost electricity for all my major kitchen appliances on Labor Day. This was pretty worrisome, being that it was the holiday. However, I couldn't let allow our refrigerator go, so I discovered him on Angie's List, liked the reviews, gave him a call (feeling embarrassed, but hopeful) and he agreed to come out in "half an hour." He showed up promptly, and was able to fix the problem quickly. Customers will notice immediately that Greg is pleasant, professional and exudes trustworthiness. On the spur of the moment, I asked him about other electrical needs for our home that had piled up over the years. He had great suggestions and provided a decent timeline and quote. Everything I asked him about regarding our electrical and lighting needs, he showed a upbeat "can do" confidence. With Greg, it doesn't feel like any job is too big, or too small, he is up for it! He was able to start on work on the following wednesday. For the next few days, I shopped for the light fixtures, the microwave, the ceiling fans and mini pendants, etc. Greg did everything we asked him to do, with a smile and made it very painless. He is prompt, diligent, professional and accountable. He works quickly and his work is elegant, neat, and tranforming.When I came home from work, the kitchen was sparkling and there was no sign of any mess. Everything was in it's place and everything look absolutely great! We are very happy and are delighted with the work and the experience with Sconce Electric.

Overall it went fine. They did a good job and they were timely.

When I called on Thursday for an appointment, Greg Sconce asked detailed questions about my needs and set up the appointment for the following Tuesday. He was apologetic that he could not come out the next day. He gave me a price quote on the phone. He arrived right on time, knew exactly what to do, and explained why the doorbell and lights were not working. The price quoted was the actual price. He also explained some possible future problems I may incur with the house number lights. He was friendly and very professional.

It only took him about 30 min to accomplish what I unsuccessfully spent the entire morning attempting to do. Not only did he complete the required wiring of the switches but he fixed my complications (I had an electrical output which stopped working due to my erroneous attempts.) Very prompt and professional. Came to my house about 3 hours after I called him.

This is the second time we have used Sconce Electric. The first time was a year ago when we had interior wiring upgraded in our older home. Then I received three bids from three contractors. Sconce Electric was not the lowest bidder, but their bid was comprehensive, it included everything we asked for and agreed on, and it was evident there would be no surprise add-ons at the end of the project. Both times we have been pleased from beginning to end with the work they did for us. Greg Sconce has been careful to understand the parameters of what we wanted done, and made thoughtful suggestions toward what we wanted to accomplish. I especially like that he arrives in a company truck and has the items he needs to complete the job so we're not waiting for the "running to get a part" I've experienced from other contractors in the past. Greg and his workers are personally neat and clean and very professional. I appreciate that aspect, especially as they were in and out of the house the first time we used their services. They are very responsive with follow-up calls should anything go wrong. After the work done last year, one of the outside switches apparently had a mechanical defect and stopped working after a week. We called and they came out the very next day and replaced the defective part, and were cheerful about it! I believe you get full value for your money with this company and will be quite happy with the work they do, as well as with your interactions with the Greg and his employees.

Prompt in giving estimate and returning calls. I did city permits and scheduled inspections, etc. The house is 70 years+ old so we ran into many pipes, old repairs, etc. The job was completed with much communication over situations and best way to proceed. City of Sacramento passed us after finding out our part was done and then they completed the job.

Outstanding. Greg Sconce came right out, gave us the estimate, and did the work on the spot. He carries materials in his capacious truck, so the work gets done right away. I gave him a "B" on price only because one should not expect him to be ultra-cheap, but his rate was very fair and very worth it.
