Like another reviewer experienced, Sconce was the only one who answered the phone out of 3-4 electricians I called. He was able to fix the issue quickly and efficiently. I called 3 electricians (after waiting 2 days in the heat to get an AC repairman who said it was an electrical problem) and Sconce was the only one who answered the phone directly. The other 2 had answering machines, and never did return my calls. Not surprisingly, Sconce was swamped with calls, but they fit me in at 7:45 the next morning. After 5 days with no relief from the heat, I was extremely grateful for the e trap effort they made. They arrived as promised, were friendly and professional. Problem fixed and I would recommend Sconce to anyone!

The instructions for the doorbell said they were so easy, I could have installed the doorbell myself; however, I have a history of botching up "easy" projects. When Sconce Electric completed the job, I could not imagine doing the professional workl they performed. There was an issue with our wifi signal; and the doorbell would not operate. The gentleman from Sconce stayed longer as we talked to the technical support team for the manufacturer of the doorbell. We found I needed an additional item to plug into the wall which the manufacturer sent me for free. The installation of this plug in device was simple and a process I did myself. The doorbell is now operating wonderfully.

The job was finished quickly and was the technicians cleaned up when the job was done. The work was successful.

Greg and his crew were great. Professional, courteous and efficient. Everything looks like it was made to be where it is. They cleaned up well and even scheduled a drywall guy to come and repair the places where we removed lights or had to drill in the wall to drop wire (added cost).

Perfect - on time, professional, clean, and efficient

The job went wonderfully! The crew worked through the original problem with efficiency. However, not to their fault, the wiring effected a nearby heating unit. Remember this house is 40 years old and weirdly wired. Sconce immediately sent out the foreman of the job, who checked all the work they had done. On the surface, the work seemed did not seem to be the problem. The HVAC company determined that the rewiring had somehow effected the heating unit, but could not explain how. Sconce immediately sent a crew, who worked the better part of the day, a Friday afternoon, to find the problem. They ended up rewiring the heating unit to solve the problem. We were not charged for this extra work, even though the problem could not be directly tied to the original work. Sconce stands by their work and cares about their customer. All for a reasonable price, We definitely will use them in the future.

Very well. Chris arrived at exactly 8 AM with a projected appointment time of "8-8:30." I had an exhaust fan that was coming on in middle of the night--not the type that is supposed to do that, and apparently it was tripped by any vibration of the wall as I learned that 'hitting the wall' made it stop. Also, I was going to try changing the bulbs of an older fluorescent fixture in my kitchen, but thank goodness, Chris diagnosed it as needing new "ballasts," and not new bulbs. Working fine now.

Crew showed up just after 8am, were all done by 3pm....All were pleasant and professional and had a good sense of humor....They even liked talking to our 6 lb. dog and worked around her. with no problems......I am planning on updating my electrical panel and will be calling Greg and his crew.

We called twice before we got a response. However, when we got a response, the appointment was scheduled promptly. The technician arrived when he was expected. He found a worn out breaker and replaced the part. We asked about the health of the breaker box. He told us due to the brand and age of the unit, it is definitely nearing the end of its life expectancy, but there is no need to rush into replacement. My husband (who works in sales) appreciated the technician's knowledge and lack of sales push. The technician told us the main office would send us a quote with information for when it is time to replace the breaker box. We have not heard from them since.

Very professional, did all the work when they said they were and even went beyond in replacing the base for the side flood lights, thank you for the worry free job and look forward to seeing you again if we need any electrical in the future.. Greg and his crew are the best..

They were quick, professional and cleaned up after themselves. They sent 2 workers with a large truck that had everything they needed to complete the jobs. I have one thing left to door and will definitely call them back.

I called at 12noon on a Monday and in less than an hour received a return call (This is in contrast to a competitor - also on Angie's List - whom I called at 8am and was promised a return call to set up an appointment. It's been 30 hours and we have not received a call back from them.). We set up an appointment for 2:30pm that day. Jeff and Chris arrived right on time. They were both dressed neatly. They inquired about the issue and were polite (and professional) enough to let me explain it in detail. They both went right to work. They kept us informed of their progress - even noting that because it was an older model fan that they had to make a change or two. They finished within an hour. They made sure they cleaned up in and around the work site.
