The electrician was excellent in every aspect. He was very professionally dressed, neat, clean, courteous, and quick. He was very respectful, professional and didn’t waste any time. He fixed the problem. I also asked him to change some wall outlets to dimming outlets, which he did. Overall, I was very happy with their services. I would highly recommend him to others, and if I have any other electrical problems, I will call them.

They moved a light box (I’m remodeling a bathroom). They got the job done within 40 minutes!

Mr. Sconce and his work partner performed work of excellent quality. I also appreciate his friendliness, as well as his patience in explaining things to me. They were highly rated on Angie's List. They were very professional and very fast in response. I had called out three people to give me bids and they had quoted $2100 for the work. I didn't go with them and used somebody else but they were good. They had really good mannerisms and they were very experienced. The man they sent out was a little more friendly than the other guys and it is just easier to get along with a friendlier person.

Had a problem with our kitchen lights we thought were broken. Greg came over the same morning I called and found the problem was human error on our part and solved the issue for us free of charge. He also provided some useful advice on another electrical issue with our attic lights. I will definitely use him for any electrical work in the future.

Greg has done two jobs for me in the past year and I have been completely satisfied both times. We used Sconce Electric in June of last year. We were very happy with Greg, the owner, his performance and professionalism. We had a power surge last week during a storm and some appliances and plugs were not working. We called him on Sunday afternoon and he was at our house early on Monday morning. He checked everything out, fixed some circuit breakers that were tripped, and got things to work while we take care of the electronic equipment. He refused payment and said to call him back when we are ready for the next step. He saved us money and especially a lo of time and frustration. We were extremely happy with him again and would not even consider calling anyone but Sconce Electric to take care of our house. I used them a while back because of a referral from a member of my family. I had other elecertical contractors in for estimates and Sconce Electric was very reasonable. I called Gary and had him come to my house to give me an estimate. He was on time, friendly, and professional. He and his coworker took a look at what I wanted to install and gave me an estimate. It was BY FAR the best estimate I received. PLUS, he had a coworker install them on the spot. The entire job took 2 hours to add three pendent lights to my ceiling. Sconce Electric did NOT make any extra holes....just the ones needed for the pendants. No extra drywall work!!!!! This alone made me extremely happy. They took precautions to ensure that my floors and kitchen island were properly covered so dust would not get anywhere. They cleaned up afterwards. They even gave me the bulbs for my pendants (I didn't have extra.) I was extremely pleased and am now telling everyone about my positive experience. Thank you Sconce!!!

These guys were great to work with. They were professional, friendly, and fast! I had a ballast that needed to be replaced because my Seagull circline lights were not working. He easily could have charged me more by going through his own vendors, but was honest and told me I could probably get it cheaper online. This way, I would save on parts, and only pay for labor. They arrived an hour earlier than the scheduled time and fixed my light fixture within 30 minutes. I will definitely work with Sconce again in the future.

Greg showed up as discussed and listened to everything I want to accomplish. He quickly assessed the situation...provided a very reasonable estimate and provided a quick timeframe for the job. He and his co-worker showed up on time, went straight to work and finished within 45 minutes. I was very impressed at his professinalism and candor. I am already looking at other electrical jobs I want done and Sconce electrical will be my provider!

We had minor repair work to be done on our fixer upper and some wiring that needed to be replaced in the shop. Greg was punctual and professional. He did what he said he would, when he said he would do it at a fair price. He handled last minute requests the same way. We will be using Sconce for all our electrical needs.

They were pretty good. They were prompt and the estimate was reasonable. The estimate was about $600. I would use them in the future.

He seemed to be pretty sure about what was needed to be done. He gave me an upfront estimate, and the work came under budget. The price was great. In terms of his responsiveness, it took a little bit of time. I would use him again in the future if necessary.

I called Greg in the morning. He said he would get back to me and he had one of his workers call me back within 90 minutes. He came right after lunch and had everything fixed within 30 minutes. I am very satisfied with his work and professionalism.

( called Sconce Electric on the morning of 12/5 because we were having trouble with one of our smoke alarms. (For some reason it was alarming--not just chirping--when we were in the shower.) Concerned that there was a short somewhere in our wiring, I wanted the problem checked out as soon as possible. Sconce Electric managed to fit us in that SAME day. They checked the smoke alarms and bathroom wiring and concluded that that the alarms right outside the bathroom were probably sounding because of the steam/heat from the shower. So they reversed two of the smoke alarms, advised us simply to keep the bathroom door completely shut while showering, and calmed my concerns about a possible short. While they were here, I also asked them about a light switch that has occasionally not worked, and about a light bulb that was stuck so tight in its socket that I could not get it out. They removed the light bulb and explained the problem with the light switch.As they were leaving, I went to get my checkbook, and Greg told me there would be no charge. When I tried to insist that they were owed something for their time, he said that our house was on their way from another job and that the problems hadn't taken them long enough to charge me. (3 men were here for about 20-30 minutes.) I was VERY pleased with the professionalism and with the care Greg took to answer my questions. I would DEFINITELY recommend Sconce Electric. We'll be calling them again if the need arises.

Greg is very friendly, frank, punctual; seems honest and experienced. was able to come in early evening for estimate. his estimate was less $ than 2 other estimates i had gotten for same (or less) work to be done; i didn't feel like i was being upsold or deceived in discussing the project with him. he was receptive to small add-on projects on the day of work, he had 2 assistants, both also seemed friendly and experienced. work was finished in one day, ahead of schedule. placement of lighting was confirmed with me prior to cutting. great clean-up at each site of work in the house. the lighting is perfect, just what we wanted; also great result to small addon projects. looking forward to using Sconce Electric for our next electrical project

We interviewed a lot of electrical contractors to replace the knob-and-tube wiring in our older home. After reviewing the various quotes, we chose Sconce Electric because he gave us the best bang for the buck, and he really knew what he was doing. When the job was scheduled, he always showed up on time and put in a full day's work. He and his crew were extremely hard-working, knowledgeable, experienced, and CLEAN. They upgraded our service panel, removed old exterior conduits and consolidated the wiring to fewer new conduits, put in new outlets, upgraded old ones, upgraded all of our light switches and wiring, installed new lighting in various places, installed a new ceiling fan, a new whole house fan, moved our electrical service to our detached garage to beneath the ground (previously it was a bare overhead wire), upgraded and installed new lighting and outlets in the garage, and a new service mast for the main electrical service. He cleaned up before leaving every night, and left us fully powered each evening so we were able to live in the house while he did the work. He and his crew removed all of the old wiring both in the attic and in the crawl space under the house, and ran new wiring in its place. This was a big home job - it took 6 days - but Greg made it look easy. Greg was extremely professional, friendly and easy to work with. We can't emphasize enough how pleased we are with his work. We feel we couldn't have made a better choice. We wish all contractors were as high quality as Greg Sconce and his crew.

My experience with Sconce Electric was very satisfactory. Greg listened to what I needed and communicated what he thought was best for the situation and what it would cost. He explained everything very well and I felt very good about what he recommended. He did the work in a timely manner and was professional during the entire time he was at my home. I will be using him again next week to install outside lights I need.
