Greg and Ralph were great! They were prompt, personable, and professional. They gave me an estimate over the phone for the work, which made me a bit nervous based on my previous experience with other contractors. However, he did not deviate from his estimate even though he had not seen the jobsite. Upon arrival, they examined the areas and we went over exactly what I wanted them to do. Then they got to work. They had some concern about the new kitchen fixture's height. Greg unpacked the fixture and assembled it. He held it up for me to see if it would have been too big and gave me his opinion. I had them install the fixture and it looks lovely. They arrived at 8 am and were finished before 11. When they finished, I also had him give me an estimate for some outdoor lighting. I am going to schedule that work next week. I would highly recommend Sconce Electric to friends and strangers, alike!

Greg had it fixed in a matter of minutes, by replacing the outlet. While he was here, he had him remove the wiring to an outdoor outlet that we no longer use. He was professional, clean, and very business-like. He knew what he was doing from the moment he walked into the house. His detective skills in locating the problem were amazing! Thanks Greg!

They were fast, efficient, professional and courteous. They also did a nice job of cleaning up. They did all of this work in a few hours (3 man crew). I work from home and I was able to continue my work during their service. In addition to adding outlets to my house, I had three ceiling fixture installs as part of the estimate. I wanted a 4th also installed and expected to pay extra for that. They threw the 4th installation in for free. I highly recommend this company and hope to have need for more electric service in the future. They completely exceeded my expectations!!

It went great. Greg and his team showed up on time and did a walkthrough to confirm the scope of work and estimate. Given the age of my home, they encountered some difficulties with a very narrow, and at some points inaccessible, crawl space, but still managad to accomplish everything I had asked for. I was impressed, as I get a lot of complaints about the crawl space. Also the light fixture I purchased had apparently been returned to the store and then resold to me. Some of the parts were missing, but Greg still managed to get it installed. They did a great job of cleaning up after themselves, put everything back into place and for scope of the work I thought they worked pretty efficiently. I appreciate the work they accomplished and the effort they put into it, especially the guy who had go into the crawl space. Thanks! I would highly reccomend Sconce Electric to friends and family.

See above, where the full job is described...FULLY SATISFACTORY. Greg Sconce and his crew were highly professional, very competent in their field. What really impressed me, that Gregs crew continually cleaned up as the job went along. No debrie or any other item remnants were left behind. This is remarkable, inasmuch many "professional" contractors seem to fail in this category!

Excellent. Greg was very responsive, prompt, and professional. A colleague was with him during the evaluation and repair visit, and he also was very professional. Greg was clear regarding with how he intended to search for the exact same replacement of our fan and with his suggestion that we replace the bulb sockets in the overhead fan. The bid was emailed on time, and he was very open to a number of questions I had when I subsequently called him prior to arranging for the repair. The repair was scheduled for about 10 days later (we weren't in a hurry, so I did not ask for anything sooner). They arrived the day of the repair exactly on time. They showed me the failing fan to prove it was being replaced. Very impressive was the fact that Greg explained to me how to buy and remove the fan in the future should we ever need to do so; ours ended up being a fairly simple install, and he stated that we could save labor money next time by simply doing the work ourselves. He also told us that he would answer his cell phone on a weekend to help walk us through the install should we need it. And, again, he stayed to answer a handful of questions I had. Overall--I could not have received better service. He is now our electrician, should we ever need more work.

This company was recommended to me by another contractor. The service was great overall! He’s been dependable and has done excellent job. His price is very reasonable.

Overall, the experience was great. Greg even called me back while he was on vacation! He was punctual, very nice, helpful, and figured out the problem even though he couldn’t repair it since it was an HVAC problem; he did recommended another company. They did what they needed to do, helped me out, and I’d use them again in a second!

To start, Greg and his crew were on time, I however was not. :) They covered all surfaces before work started and they were incredibly gentle when removing the light and making cuts in the drywall. I thought I'd need to hire a drywall guy to come behind any electrician I hired but Greg absolutely blew me out of the water. I can hardly see where the work was done and I haven't done any touch up paint yet! Totally reasonable price quote and great quality work! I would recommend Greg hands down!

Greg cameand gave us a thorough estimate, explained in detail what we could expect and where we might be able to save some money. Office sent us worker's comp and insurance papers for our review. Scheduling a day for work to be performed was easy and quick. Arrived promptly and work was completed (including inspection) by early afternoon. Very happy with the experience.

Greg returned my message same day. Came out for an inspection and quote the next day (on a Saturday). Greg and his team completed the work the following Wednesday. Their price was very competitive. Their work was superb. Greg himself as well as the team were professional, thorough and flat out awesome. A light switch was not flush and they redid it on their own terms without us even asking. Couldn't say enough good things and if I ever need electrical done in the future I am calling them without hesitation (and I am an electrical engineer!).

Greg (the owner) came over a couple of days before the schedule installation to look at the attic so he would be sure to have the right kind of fan for the installation. The day of the installation, Greg and the crew were right on schedule (7:45am) to beat the heat in the attic. They did a great job of confining the mess and cleaned everything up afterwards, right down to actually wiping down the floor with a damp cloth. Greg's estimate of how long it would take was spot on and they were in an out in under 3 hours. The quality of the work seems high - nothing exposed and everything lines up nicely. All in all a great experience and I'll definitely be getting them back for more projects around the house.

The electricians came in and gave us an approximate estimate, we then gave them the go ahead to asess and repair all outlets and areas of concern, as many of our outlets weren't working.The work was completed in a quick and timely manner. The whole house was examined for proper and effiecient fuctioning. We will call them again for any and all our elecrical needs.

Greg and assistant arrived on time to troubleshoot the bad circuit. Problem was traced to bad neutral connection in circuit breaker panel. They were professional, knowledgeable, tidy and efficient. No problem in recommending them for electrical work.

They arrived on time, maybe even a little early. We had communicated several times by phone and email, so I already had an estimate and a description of the work to be done. Greg discussed it all with us before and during the project. He got our approval for light locations before he started. The team worked quickly and efficiently and they seemed to be very professional. We are pleased with the results and would definitely call them again if we need electrical work done.

Greg has done work for me previously and I can't say enough good things about his responsiveness, skill, integrity, and professionalism. I will always call him when I need electrical work done. He was able to schedule and complete my work in a timely manner and I couldn't be more pleased with the new LED lights in my kitchen. They are much brighter than my previous lighting (which I like for the kitchen) and should save energy in the long run. Greg and his assistant arrived on-time, and completed the work within 30 minutes. I mentioned to them that I was having trouble with my gas grill -- I had tried to repair it but it was leaking somewhere and I couldn't locate the leak. They volunteered to look at it, and with the right tools (and expertise), they were able to fix the grill in less than 15 minutes!! I had spent hours struggling with it and had almost given up and was going to buy a new grill. They saved me a lot of $$ by salvaging this one with a repair. Needless to say, I was very grateful!!! Made a donation to their lunch fund for that day! Highly recommend Sconce Electric!!!

Came out one week prior to estimate job. Did not call ahead as he said he would and arrived a few minutes late. However, when he arrived he was friendly and professional. Discussed options for placement and gave two estimates. Discussed how long job would take and when it could be scheduled. Estimate (which included $15 discount for Angie's List) was definitely on the high end but decided to accept based on reviews. Contacted him next day to schedule job about a week later. He gave a "window" of time and said he would call 30 minutes before arrival. Called shortly after "window" ended to say he was on his way. Arrived with a younger assistant who was not friendly. Both got to work immediately and finished quickly (within about half an hour). Work was clean and professional. Said to call if any questions/concerns or if future work was needed. All in all, a good experience.
