Greg arrived and gave me a complete estimate. The next day his employees arrive on time and did a great job.

We've used him several times. If anybody is looking for a good priced, great, professional electrician, I would highly recommend them. They are always very reasonable in pricing. I like that they are punctual and they're quick. They know their business. I like the professionalism and the cost is very reasonable for an electrician. They're always on time. They're a good electrical company.

Overall we were very happy with the job they did. I have read other reviews that complained about the way they cleaned. I found it to be acceptable. I didn't them to clean my house!

Hot day and we discovered that the electrical plugs in living room and both bedrooms were not working. I called Sconce Electric at 6pm, leaving a message. Greg Sconce returned my call with in 30 mins and we set up appointment for the next day, 'late in afternoon.' He called around noon, showed up 20 mins later. He and his co-worker (Michael ?) checked the breaker box (all ok) and the plugs, periodically getting power. Poor Michael crawled under house and found a fried junction box. He had that box replaced in 10 minutes, we had fans going in 15 minutes. Totally awesome..And, I got an Angie's List discount.

They got the job done quickly and it worked. They were very professional, and offered to credit the price to future work if the code change didn't fix the problem.

They were great. Gary actually came in with his crew and it took them a few hours to knock everything out but they were really easy going. They showed me what they had done and what they were doing. He knew that I was looking at doing some of my own post installation work and offered his own services up for phone support.

They told me they would be at my house at 8am and arrived punctual. In fact, they rang my bell at 7:45 ready to get started. The owner told me it would take approximately 4 hours to complete the job and he was right on target. I was told to place the box of my fixture in the room where it was to be installed and they would take it from there. They put the new fixtures together and installed them. Three fixtures were hung on a 20 foot ceiling, but they made it look easy and very professional. They did a great job, very helpful and knowledgeable. Their prices are fair and comparable. I will definitely use them again for any of my electrical needs.

Greg is a methodical worker, careful and thorough. He did an excellent job. It was easy for me to see why he has such high ratings on the list.. Outstanding.

Arrived punctually on a Saturday morning to evaluate my thermostatically controlled attic fan's problem of loud noise. I had to turn off the breaker to turn it off to make the loud noises stop on the first hot day in the area. Greg disconnected the fan from the electrical box so that I could turn the breaker back on to allow other appliances to work. He then evaluated the situation for me for future consideration. Very nice and knowledgeable, and offered very much appreciated suggestions for the situation.

They did great, they were on time, professional, reasonable fees, finished quickly, cleaned after themselves and were courteous.

Greg came out the day after we called to give us a quote to have a 220 outlet put in the garage for our dryer. Was able to come back the very next day and complete the outlet and a few other small electrical items in the garage. Completed the work quickly and professionally. No complaints. Would hire again.

They showed up right on time for the quote. Greg Sconce was prompt, professional, and knowledgeable - not only about the work to be done, but he was able to discuss with me different types of light fixtures (I ended up buying LED, as they'd last the longest and use very little energy). I bought the lights at a place across town that he recommended (pricing was similar to other places I'd checked, and he picked up the lights when they came in, saving me a trip). The work done was fast and efficient. The pendant light for the front porch came broken, so this ended up being 2 trips for them, but he only charged labor (not a 2nd trip fee) for the second trip. One man even noticed that my garage door had a problem and clued me in that I should have it looked at (nothing in it for them, but safety for me!!). I was very satisfied and would certainly use them again.

I called Sconce Electric 5/16 to solve a problem with GFI that popped when I turned on our pool waterfall and also took out several indoor outlets so as to enable us to have an operable waterfall and pool lights for my grandson's backyard graduation party on 5/25. The lady that took my call told me the service call would be $95 minus Angie's discount, $85. He didn't show up for the first scheduled appointment on 5/17. We talked again on 5/18 and he showed up Monday 5/20. He said we needed a new pool pump and he would replace it for me before the party. He charged me $115 for the service call minus Angie's discount. I did not object to the increase in price because I was desperate to have repairs made. We called him back on 5/21 because outlets indoors were still not working and we had a houseful of family. He came back and reset an indoor subpanel which took care of the outlets. I asked him again if he would fix the waterfall pump before the party that Saturday. That's the last I heard from him. Our party went without pool lights or waterfall. Yes, it is a big deal to me because I promised my grandson the pool would be ready for his friends to use. I would not recommend this company.

I was in the middle of a big plumbing job that required a complete replumb of my system. My plumbing needed to be re-routed to my ceiling and walls because of a broken underground pipe that could not be located. In the course of the re-plumb, the plumbers had to remove a light fixture in the bathroom to open up a wall. When they exposed the wiring of that light fixture, it was found to be faulty and potentially dangerous. My plumber knew of Sconce Plumbing and gave me their contact information. I called and they were able to come our within a couple of hours. They gave me an "Angie's List discount" as soon as they found out I was a member. The job was done quickly and professionally. I would definitely contact them again.

An outlet was wired correctly and was causing power outages. The electrician fixed the problem and left before I could tell him about two other jobs that needed to be done. When I called and asked if he could return to change two dimmer switches to a regular light switch, he came back the same day. I anticipated additional charges, but he said it was a simple job, so he was going to include the work in the original visit. I was very impressed!

Since Sconce Electric never responded, our overall experience was disappointing.

I would definately use Sconce Electric again.

I checked on Angie's list and saw all of the great reviews for Sconce, plus a coupon for labor, and decided to call. Greg answered his phone, which I was happy to find as every time I need to contact someone for house work, etc. I always get a machine, and was able to come out the same day to see the work that needed to be done. He gave me a general idea on the cost of the job then he emailed me with a solid quote. He booked my job for Monday the 6th and was here Monday the 6th. He came with a team of very nice guys who all worked neatly, professionally, and efficiently. The were on time both mornings of the job, worked hard, and did a perfect job! Greg oversaw the whole job and they finished even earlier then anticipated. He charged me exactly what he quoted me, no more, and took credit cards so I even got to get rewards on my credit card for the service! Whoot! I am very happy with the work, the service, and the price. If I need any further electrical work done I would call Greg first! I would also recommend them to friends and family. Greg worked very closely with me throughout the process and provided many suggestions along the way. After the initial walk through Greg gave me an estimate to review. We discussed further and based on our discussion he provided me with a final proposal barring any changes I made during the re-wiring. Throughout the entire process Greg and his team were punctual, polite and professional. They were very patient and accommodated my last minute change requests. After each day they cleaned up after themselves, which made the process more bearable. The person he used for patching the walls is very knowledgeable as my house had different textures throughout the house. Much to my pleasure Greg finished a couple days early!! I would highly recommend Greg Sconce for all your electric needs.

The job went extremely well and was performed in a timely manor. Every person on the crew of 4 was professional and polite. Greg was able to accommodate my remodel schedule by moving my work to a Saturday with no complaints.

I was very pleased with the service from this company. Mr. Sconce returned my call promptly and came out the next day for an estimate. Due to schedule changes on his part, Mr. Sconce and his crew were able to fit my job in sooner than expected. They replaced two ceiling fans, and put in three track lighting units for me with separate controls for each of the track lights. All of this done on the same day. I would definitely use this company again!

The crew did good work. They were friendly to work with and eager to make sure that we got everything as we asked. They got the job done in less time than the original estimate.

I had some electrical issues with my pool pump and landscape lighting. They diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed it. They also removed some abandoned wiring. They came when they said they would and did what they said they would do and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg. They are professional, courteous and responsive. I will definitely use them again for our upcoming projects.

We have a 60-plus-year-old house that had knob and tube wiring. Although the wiring was in fairly good condition, it was old and cranky. It also meant that we could not put insulation where we needed it in the attic. We had put this work off for years because we had not found an electrician in whom we had complete confidence--until we met Greg Sconce. We tried him on a couple small jobs, like replacing a porch light and adding an outlet. The work was spot-on, so we forged ahead. We found Greg to be a consummate professional, who anticipated all our needs and delivered everything he promised and more. He is also personable and easy-going, which are no small things with a major project. All his workers are diligent and polite; they respected us and our home. The work was finished on-budget and on-time. Rewiring is not glamorous, with most of the work hidden behind walls and in the attic. But the peace of mind that we have will be felt every day. And, if you also have an old house, you will understand what I mean when I say that there is utter joy in having an outlet where you need it. We have tossed many extension cords.
