Very well - the technician arrived as scheduled, explained what he was doing and what he thought the problem was. He gave an estimate for the cost and when we agreed to it ordered the required parts. He returned three days later, installed the new controller and the ovens worked.

I got a $20 off coupon. They did a very good job. I was happy with everything. He did some extra stuff that I wanted done. It was all done in a clean, timely fashion. I was very satisfied. They were very puntual.

FLA employee arrrived within time frame I was given on a Saturday. He spent about 5 minutes diagnosing the problem, 5 minutes getting the part from his van, and 5 minutes replacing the part. After spending 15 minutes doing the job I was given a bill for $203! I was charged about $70 for the drive to my home in El Dorado Hills from Orangevale, less than 12 miles, about $60 for the part, and about $60 for labor, this was including the $20 Angie's List labor discount. I paid the amount since my washing machine was now in good working order. Later I checked on-line for the part from Sears and found that I was charged $20 more than Sear's retail price. I called the office and said that I thought I'd been overcharged. It appeared that he individual had no interest in my complaint. I gave them a poor rating due to their unresponsiveness and and their unprofessionalism regarding my complaint. I felt like I was talking to a wall. I would not recommend this company.

Very good. Very professional. Checked motor first before informing me of the problem and the cost. That way I could weigh my options between just buying a new washer versus repairing it. I ended up repairing it as the motor was in excellent condition.

This service story is unlikely to be repeated; therefore, do not expect this level of response. Benefit 1. After finding two appliance repair services within 10 miles of my home, I could not decide which of the two would be best. So, I joined Angie's list to use member reviews to select the one with the highest ratings (reviews). Surprisingly, Angie's list showed a third company with the name Folsom Lake was within 10 miles and, more important, had the highest rating of any appliance service within 30 miles! Benefit 2. I called Folsom lake Appliance minutes after receiving this information, and was asked if it was okay to allow the technician to check the refrigerator within 15 minutes. He was finishing up at a home in my neighborhood and could stop by to do the preliminary diagnosis before going to his next scheduled visit. He quickly diagnosed the problem, checked with the shop part availability (last one), and added my home to the end of his schedule the following day to install the part. Benefit 3. The technician was not informed of a staff meeting the following morning that was blocked out in his schedule; so, he had two hours freed up for service. The scheduler called and asked if he could come early (within 30 minutes) to install the compressor; I agreed; he arrived and completed repairs that morning. While the most important factor to consider is quality of service, and I did receive a quick and accurate diagnosis and the least disruptive repair, it is very important to note that the time to receive this service, including joining Angies List to ensure quality, was less than 26 hours. While it is unlikely to repeat, do not be surprised if Folsom Lake Appliance provides equal service to you, because of its use of dispersed field technicians who may be working at a home nearby when you request service.

My face was red when all it needed was a couple of tries as switch was just stuck. Was only charged for the call.

Great experience! Our refrigerator died over the weekend. Because it was a Kenmore we called Sears, but they said they wouldn't be able to service it until Wednesday.. We called Folsom Lake first thing Monday a.m. They were here early afternoon and fixed the fridge quickly. They carry a large inventory of parts on their trucks, so there was no waiting for parts. The tech was professional and friendly and answered all of our questions. There was a minor issue with the invoice, but I called the office and they straightened that out as well.

He is knowledeable and professional.

Our Dacor range fan (pop-up vent) stopped working. I called FLA on a Thursday and was told they were able to work on it but the first appt I could get was the following Monday afternoon. Two hours before my appt FLA called and said that their repair people lacked the expertise to work on the range fan and canceled the appt. One the one hand, it's nice that they confessed this failing before the tech showed up (but confessing this when I called on Thursday would have been nicer); on the other hand they advertise and I was told that they do work on Dacor when apparently they don't, or at least not on range fans. Why didn't the clerk I spoke to know this? In the end, my husband ordered a new circuit board,installed it himself, and the fan now works fine. I'm giving him the 'A' on this work!

I really appreciated the professionalism and honesty. The repairman really knew the product and explained my options very effectively. I would definitely call Folsom Lake Appliance again.

They were fine. It was an older refrigerator and I let them know I just wanted it fixed so I could shop around for another. They did a cost effective patch repair.

Our oven was malfunctioning. Contacted Home Warranty provider. They referred the issue to Folsom Lake Appliance. Folsom Lake Appliance provided a appointment date/time that worked for us. On the morning of the appointment, the repair tech called to inform me that he was on the way. When he arrived I described the problem to him and he started working on the oven right away. He found the problem relatively quickly (faulty bake igniter), contacted the Home Warrany company for approval, installed the new part, and tested functionality. The cost to us was $55 since the repair was covered under our home warranty. We were advised that without the warranty the repair would have cost around $150. All in all it was a good experience.

Scott arrived on time with protectors over his boots. He was well dressed with an organized tool bag. He quickly discovered the problem and had the necessary part on his truck. The repair was completed within an hour.

It costed us about $200. The experience was fine. I thought that the price was expensive. I have nothing to compare the price with. The quality of work was so-so. They had to come back 3 times. I had a feeling that they could not find orders. They were very nice. I hate to say a thing about them. However, I probably would not use them again.

I thought their price was expensive for their coming out and labor. They did not arrive on time. However, the washing machine works now. I will use them again in the future.

He was very quick, efficient, and clean and did excellent work. All he had to do was push a button to correct the error. I would definitely call them again.

He came when scheduled-nice when you need to take an afternoon off work for this sort of thing. He did the job I hired him for, then examined the dishwasher closely. He was concerned that it was subject to a recall by Maytag. We are the 3rd owners of this house, so we wouldn't have been notified. He told me not to use the dishwasher until I had checked on the recall, because of fire danger. It wasn't part of the recall, but I certainly appreciated the extra effort.

It went great. They arrived when expected, checked everything and isolated the problem. The part was not a common one, so it had to be ordered, but it arrived quickly and they called and scheduled the final appointment within a few days. Paul was very agreeable and cleaned up after the work.

Excellent. Out two times for two different repairs. Repaired in minutes each time. On time, polite, diagnosis and repair made correctly both times.

THEY WERE ON TIME AND VERY RESPONSIVE TO OUR NEEDS. THE PRICE THEY CHARGED US WAS VERY GOOD. I APPRECIATED THE WORK THEY DID AND HOW THEY ALWAYS SHOWED UP ON TIME.
