Description of Work: Stove under warrantee. What began with a minor problem developed into a major repair job. Problem with one of their servicemen: He damaged stovetop then wouldn't take responsibility blaming me for secondary damage. Management took partial responsibility but only willing to replace stovetop. Original damage was not repairable & was told, "you'll have to live with it". Caused multiple problems. Still dealing with aftermath.

Description of Work: Repaired washing machine. It got fixed but they stripped a screw on one of the arm retaining parts. I fixed that myself as I didn't want to call them back and wait.

Description of Work: Dryer repair; replaced ignitor. Didn't have the part needed available on the initial visit, but ordered it and came back the next day to install. I liked that the initial fee to diagnose the problem was applied to the total repair cost. Would use again.

Description of Work: They repaired a dryer that had a bearing that was worn out and making a loud noise.Well we had to call them back last month because there was a rattling noise.They came out again around 03/23/15 because the service had a 90-day warranty.The same repairman showed on time, stayed for 25 minutes then left-nothing wrong-problem had been fixed and no extra charge

Description of Work: I was originally quoted $350-400 and 3-4 hours to convert my dryer from lp to natural gas. Actaul cost $184, and maybe 45 mins.

Description of Work: Diagnosed temp control on freezer. I already had indicated that I thought that was the problem. Asked him to check the refrigerator as I did not think it was as cold as it should be. Opened the door and identified ice on the back said a complete compressor, and refrigeration system would have to be replaced. Quoted parts and labor for freezer repair. I repaired myself for about $250.00 less than quoted.

Description of Work: Our washing machine stopped spinning and was not able to complete its wash cycle. The technician, Casey, was very professional, knowledgeable and was able to repair our machine. Luckily for us it was not that bad. He replaced the Hall Sensor in the machine and that corrected the problem. He was quick to figure out the problem, as well as fixing it.

Description of Work: The service person was on time, friendly and professional...he performed a preliminary inspection of the appliance and provided an estimate for the repair and time for completion. He had the needed part on the truck and finished within an hour. I am more than pleased with Lake Appliance Repair and would use them in the future if I needed an appliance repaired.

Description of Work: Repaired dishwasher which was not getting hot water and also had a bad gasket so it was leaking. They had to order a part but were upfront about costs and since they do not sell new units, did not try to sell us something new.

Description of Work: Came to give us an estimate to repair our wine cooler which wasn't cooling adequately. He felt it was a compressor problem and that the compressor would have to be replaced for a cost of $550. He did not think it was worth it. Original (3 yrs. old now) unit cost $969. We have not yet decided what to do.
