Electric Connection

They were so professional and timely. They arrived and did the work. It was clear that they knew what they were doing. Throughout the project John Seccombe and his partner were polite and professional. I felt they were extremely reliable and am very pleased with the work. I would use them again and highly recommend their service. Electric Connection also took care of the permit process and the inspection passed easily.

Installation of the fan and the new switch to turn it on went perfectly. I have no concerns. The fan is absolutely silent (balanced), and the switch works exactly as promised (separated from the ceiling light switch). I would hire again.

Dan was great. He called to let us know when he was coming and was on time. He and RJ were very nice and quickly installed my new LED fixture. Great service! I will definitely use them again!

It went extremely well. I am more interested in getting professional service and quality work so I don't use Professionals just based on price. I sent in a request for service and got a call back the same day. I set the appointment 2 weeks ahead and the Electric Connection team showed up when we agreed. I was told what to expect for the appointment on the first contact. They called ahead to confirm their arrival time. The work was done quickly and we received good advice from John about our interior plugs. The outside light has worked as expected every night since the work was done. I know this wasn't a big job but the attitude was that our needs were important and both employees were friendly.

John(Co-Owner) and his assistant called prior to their arrival and arrived on time as specified. They both were extremely professional, placed covers over their shoes so as not to dirty the floor. They assembled the fan and placed it in the exact location specified. In addition they added a new wall switch as their was NOT an existing switch for the fan. They were kind enough to move our large dinning room table back in place which we had moved to accommodate a work space prior to their arrival. The price was extremely reasonable considering the work that was done. They cleaned up after themselves and disposed of any excess trash. Friendly and professional electricians. I wanted a ceiling fan installed, which they did for $119 and only charged $45 per patio light, so I ended up replacing all three of my patio lights. It took a few weeks for them to come out, but it seems everyone is really busy now, and we weren't in a big rush, so no big deal. Highly recommended.

He was kind and super nice to deal with. He went over and above and even did more work than requested for his estimate!

The folks at Electric Connection were very professional and friendly. Without having to come out to my house, they were able to ask me a few questions and give me a quote over the phone. When they came out to my house I was prepared for them to run the electrical line outside and around my chimney (another electric company said they had to do this since I have vaulted ceilings and no attic crawl space). Much to my surprise EC was able to find a way to run the line through the attic! Definitely spared me of having to look at unsightly electrical tubing on the side of my house and at a price that was cheaper than the other company. I was also impressed that they knew the folks at several hot tube stores around Sacramento since they have installed many tubs. When I did not know the answer to a question regarding my hot tubs electrical plug, they called up the company I purchased my tub from and got the answer directly from them. Great customer service! I will definitely do business with them again and refer my family and friends.

Short and sweet.... Electric Connection called the morning of and gave me an estimate time of day he would arrive. He came exactly as promised and installed the light in no time. I would hire them again with the responsiveness and professionalism.

Finally an electrician that is efficient, knowledgable and follows through with what he says! I had met with several electricians at a commercial property to get bids on a job before I found John. Little history some were late showing up, a few said they would get me a bid in a week and I never heard back from them, one took over a month to get me a bid, and these were referrals from property managers and friends! So I opted to find one on my own and found John through Angie's list. The day I called him he said he was on a job but might be able to stop by and take a look after. It was short notice and it would be hard for me to meet him and after being inconvenienced so many times before I didn't want to go out of my way just in case. He said no worries he'd call when he could head over and when he did it was a bad time I couldn't leave work but told him he could see what he needed to and I would let the tenants know to show him whatever he needed to see. He went by and I got a quote within a week and a few phone calls for clarification of things. This was a big job ($8,000) and I appreciated his professionalism and great communication. I agreed to the bid and felt very comfortable with John without even meeting him in person! That speaks volume in itself, since I'm a very skeptical person but when you have a good feeling you just know and I had never had a good feeling about any of the other electricians I met. Skip ahead we ended up changing our original plans and he was able to adjust and go with the flow. I met him in person and he gave me new bid and I had the work completed within the week!! John treats customers like they should be treated. He keeps in contact, does what he says, does the work professionally and most of all makes you feel confident in your decision which translates to no worries for you. I couldn't recommend a better electrician for any work you have residentially or commercial, he can handle it all. His prices are fair and compared to the bids I did finally receive from other electricians he was right on point. Fast and efficient I just wish he could have been one of the first 3 electricians I met with and I could have saved a lot of time and grief.

Went very well, they were timely & professional. I had several companies come out and they were the most knowledgeable and the most reasonable with cost.

Perfect. It required more work than i originaaly thought but john had all the parts he needed on his truck and completed the work in two hours

It went very good! The work was installed with minimal wires showing. John was the third electrician to troubleshoot my problem and was able to find the broken wires and fix them at a reasonable cost.

He was unable to do the work because the ceiling was not connected to an attic and require more work than he was able to do. He could have put the recess lights in but he would have had to drill holes that would required a contractor to complete the job. I was really surprised that he did not have a referral of a contractor to complete the job. I gave him a "B" because I was looking forward to having the recess light installed that day and was very disappointed when he was unable to do them. However he was very nice and pleasant to talk with.

John and RJ did a great job, I was very impressed. The electrical panel was full, so this required a reconfiguration of the panel using new slimmer circuit breakers. They ran about 90 feet of 8 gauge romex under the house and added new conduit and disconnect box in the garage to connect the car charger. They were on time, very professional and a pleasure to work with.

We were very happy with the service. John was able to come out the next morning, arrived on time, quickly diagnosed the problem, fixed what needed to be fixed (installed a new breaker) and charged a reasonable and fair price. These guys are my new go-to electricians! I've used them twice and both times was impressed with their work and how well they communicated with me in setting up the appointment. I was also happy to find that when I asked about various possible electrical issues around the house that I was wondering about (because it's an old house and I'm a worrier) they answered all my questions didn't try to sell me services I didn't need. John Seccombe did an excellent job. He was very thorough and explained what he found in regards to things that had been left undone when we moved in and had the house remodeled. He then carefully moved throughout my house to match each line/circuit to the appropriate switch in the fuse box. When he was done, and listed the things that needed to be fixed/updated, I asked him if he could complete them rather than have to come back. He said yes, and did a great job over upgrading a GFI box in the back yard connected to my outdoor grill and replaced and capped outlets that were out of code. I was thoroughly pleased with the whole experience and would have him back again.

John and his partner were punctual arriving at 8:00 am. Both wore shoe covers as a courtesy, which is nice. First , John went up in our attic to inspect any wiring issues and he found one electrical issue that requires our attention. Second, his partner walked around our house to examine all of our outlets. Third, they labeled my two circuit breakers by having one person turned off/on the breakers while the other observes the lights inside. Lastly, John gave me a form listing his proposals to fix wiring issues.

He was able to be at my house in less than an hour from contacting him. Great work and even took shoes off before entering house! Glad to find a good electrician.

I wasn't sure about how many to do or the correct placement for the best effect, but John is very knowledgeable and experienced with this. Offered suggestions, and gave us an idea of how the lights would look by hooking up both a general light and an accent light to help us with our decision. New lighting in family room (both general and accent lights) and hall, all with dimmer switches. We also decided to update our existing kitchen lights as well. We couldn't be happier! Feels like we have a whole new house. John and RJ were very efficient, professional and we're very happy with their work.

Tenant said they were fast and friendly. Cost of initial service call covered everything.

I wasn't actually home to greet the electrician but I was told that he was punctual, professional, friendly and installed the ceiling fan quickly without complications. The ceiling fan works great. I thought the price was a little steep but pros don't come cheap. I would definitely use their services again.

Wonderful team of two came to our house. They communicated very well with us before the appointment to make sure that the installation would be smooth. They put together 4 ceiling fans, re-ran electrical wiring, and installed them in places where we had not previously had any electrical wiring. Also installed dimmer switches (we bought the kind they recommended in advance). They made sure the space was clean and they were efficient and professional. Charged what they had bid. Everything was smooth and we are very grateful.

My problem started with a power outage in my bathrooms and spare room. When I tried to reset the breakers, the main breaker blew out and I lost all power. I called John and he was already on a job not far from my house. He made me his next stop and was at my house at 8:30 am, just an hour after I called. John very quickly determined the main breaker needed to be replaced. He replaced the breaker, then we discovered that the power was still out in the bathrooms and spare room. He checked all outlets and discovered the wiring in one was loose. Once he tightened the wiring, all electric was back on. John got this job done quickly and I still made it to work by 10:00 am. Thank you John. Sorry it took me so long to write the review....
