Great. We called several a/c people to fix our tenants a/c. Three different companies did not want to climb up on the condo's roof for fear of breaking tiles! When Yaeger was asked would they climb up on the roof they said "That's our Job". And they did .They found the problem fix it. We called them Thurs afternoon and they came out Fri! I believe the technician was Chris. Wonderful. Happy tenant means happy landlord.

He is very professional I have no complaints about this comapny.

Everything went very well, and it was a good experience. The gentlemen were very professional and friendly, provided honest advice, and clearly demonstrated to me the reasons for their recommendations. More specifically, they advised me to replace the ducts instead of clean them since they contained a hazardous material. Furthermore, I appreciated that they used documented workers who were well-trained and knowledgeable about the issue. Ultimately, I followed their advice and used them to install all-new air ducts in the home.

Andrew pointed out where a possible leak occurred in a/c unit prob. because of poor initial installation as it should have been a sealed unit plus potential pinches or kinks in the ducting done by the other installers!! He fit us in on a very busy day and spent time answering our questions above and beyond just fixing the problem and cleaning the unit, adding coolant, measuring output for future improvements, etc. We had waited 4 days (in hat and humidity) for the original installation company's warranty dept. to even respond to a phone call (Gold Remodeling). Barbara was very helpful, also, and helped us get quick service. They also pointed out the shortcomings in the installation and how we may improve air flow performance throughout the whole house, which was not done thoroughly originally. This company appears well-trained and thorough. Wish we'd have used them 18 months ago for our original a/c install!! Live and learn, but don't hesitate to use Yaeger Services Inc.

My AC was not cooling so I did some research and found Yaeger Services, Inc. I am very pleased with the services they provided. From the initial phone call to the completion of repair, my impression is that they do care their customer, honest, courteous, hardworking and with the excellent workmanship. They are truly awesome and knowledgeable people. Curt arrived punctually and gave me a very reasonable estimate. Shane not only did the whole duct work but also went above and beyond to re-design the layout of the air flow system by adding additional vents and return duct and carefully choosing the right deflectors as well, Andrew repaired the leak of the air conditioner condenser, took the time to explain everything I need to know and very professional in his trade. They were thorough in cleaning their work area each time before they leave. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them to those who need the AC services.

The guy Curt seemed like a nice guy and mentioned I needed a new capacitor on system - he tried to charge me $200 for the part now this is a $10 part that takes 10 minutes to remove the wires and install - things kind of went downhill from there after he gave an estimate for a new system for $11,000+ and he refused to tell me how much he was charging me for labor in the quote (I can figure out how much based on his capacitor quote). Worse yet his estimate did not even include a replacement of copper lines (recommended by Energy star). Bottom line is I got a terrible quote (ac and furnace quoted can be obtained for less than $4000) without details and missing copper. Maybe he just thought he could charge me those prices and I would accept as further review on Angie's list shows others paying $135.00 for a capacitor from his company. Well I guess it's really his loss as I he lost the bid- My advice is get multiple bids before accepting his bids as they seem way overpriced.

The coil on my air handler was frosting up and preventing the A/C from cooling my condo, so I gave Yaeger Services a call. They were about an hour late on the first visit, so I dinged them on punctuality when I scored them. Aside from the rough start, though, they did an excellent job handling my problem. Both Herb Yaeger, as the person who did the work, and Curt Yaeger, over the phone, patiently answered all of my questions. It turned out that the air handler had to be replaced (it was over 25 yrs old), so they sourced a new one that fit the odd dimensions in my unit and installed it. I independently researched the price online, and they were very reasonable. Herb also threw in a little extra work and opened up the air intake to improve efficiency. He clearly cared about the quality of the work and it shows in the installation. He also made several recommendations on other ways to improve the system without making it feel like he was trying to sell me something. A few days after the work was complete, Herb stopped by and cleaned the condensing unit outside to make sure everything was in tip-top shape. I am generally a harsh critic of contractors when they are late, but Yaeger Services did such a good job overall that they were able to overcome that bad first impression and leave me happy with the work. I would definitely recommend them.

Everything turned out very well. They gave me a nice written estimate and I plan on using them in the future. They seem to take pride in their quality of work.

The owner, Curt, was informative and patient throughout the process. He kept me updated, providing specs and other requested information quickly by email, which saved a lot of time. He handled permits and inspection and gave helpful advice to keep consumption costs down by programming thermostats for comfort, but not excessive usage. He emailed before and after pictures, and tidied up afterward leaving the property cleaner than it was before! I plan to use his company to maintain the units, and for future installs. A great experience.

We were extremely satisfied with Yeager Services with the replacement of our central forced-air heating & air conditioning system. We recently purchase our home (2013) and during our home inspection, we were told that our system was not only original (home built in 1985) but that it also had a safety recall had been issue on it. We received several quotes (from Angie's List vendors) - all varying in price and equipment brands. Although, they were not the cheapest quote received, it was Curt Yeager and Yeager Services that stood above the rest. Curt did a complete evaluation of our system and determined the optimal system to give us the best air flow capacity. Curt was very patient with all our questions and was very thorough with documentation of the installation and permit process. Since our system dated back to the built of the home, the outdoor A/C unit replacement needed to be relocated to meet new permit regulations. The Yaeger team did a superb job installing the unit in its new location and arranged the the new tubes/pipes to look very 'natural' on the house. The installation took about 2-3 days to complete. The project included: Replacement of both heating furance and A/C condenser; Redo air ducts; Added additional return air vent; All the air outlet ducts were replaced with new more efficient ones and a new programmable thermostat was installed. All works flawless and passed all city, state, and Edison permits. Yaeger took care of all the the city building permits/inspections and filed all the product warranty registrations. The service was priced the same or a bit higher than it's competitors. However, we felt that the investment was worth the peace of mind that our system was installed not only correctly but for optimal performance. Yaeger Services does not disappoint and you can tell they they take much pride in they work and services.

Yaeger would have been my choice! : ) but my husband selected another company to do the work.

Mr. Yaeger and his staff were extremely professional. He quoted a range of products and discussed the advantages of each. He was the only heating firm that addressed the size of the existing air intake. Mr. Yaeger and his staff handled the permit process and resolved any issues. His crew made sense out of the duct work in the attic. It's amazing how much quicker the house warms up in the winter and cooled off in the early fall.

Our house was built in 1970 and the central heating and cooling unit was located in an upstairs closet. We had the original system replaced in 1990 because it was malfunctioning. The new system was the same capacity as the original system. The system we had installed in 1990 had been repaired several times and we decided to replace it once-again. We had five quotes (all on Angie?s List) on replacing our system. All the quotes were priced within a few hundred dollars of each other. Four of the quotes were to replace the existing equipment with units of the same capacity. The fifth quote we got was from Yeager Services and it was much different from the others. Curt Yeager did a complete evaluation of our system and determined the air flow capacity for our system was grossly inadequate for the equipment we had. We were paying to run much larger units than the system could utilize. He proposed making some modifications to the air return system and adding another outlet to improve the air flow of the system. It took the Yeager crew four days to complete the project. The virtually rebuilt the floor in the closet to obtain more air flow and provide for an easily removable filter. Built a new return air vent in the hall below to provide adequate air flow and installed a new outlet vent. The outside compressor unit is new from the wall out. All electrical fusing and wiring were replaced and a new compressor pad was installed. All the air outlet registers were replaced with new more efficient ones and they installed a new programmable thermostat. There work looks to be flawless. They took care of all the city building permits/inspections and filed all the product warranty registrations. All this, for the same price as the other quotes I got to just replace the existing equipment? I?ve only had one occasion to run the cooling system and several occasions for the heater. It works great. Appears to run about half the time it did before. If you have a chance to use Yeager Services, do it. You won?t be disappointed.

Very knowledgable, including current government incentives for high efficiency equipment. Emailed him after our meeting with other questions and he responded very quickly with good information. We did not replace our system due to other issues, but his pre-install contacts were great.

Herb Yaeger arrived on time, did a great job at a great price. He also looked at my main house HVAC system and gave me some ideas how to reroute some ducts for better efficiency as well as explained how to clean the condenser properly. I'll definitely be using this company again and referring them to everyone i know

Yaeger's team was punctual, thorough, professional and honest. I would highly recommend them (and did to a neighbor!) and would use them again if needed. We received 4 different bids on our project and went with Yaeger because of price and past referrals. They weren't the highest or lowest bid, but we felt the most comfortable with them. No high sales, high pressure tactics -- very easygoing and respectful.

The owner, Curt Yaeger, came out to diagnose our A/C system's poor performance, fitting us in to his busy schedule on short notice. He evaluated the system, determined that the system was low on Freon, replaced same, then determined there was a freon leak somewhere in the vicinity of the furnace. He will have his son contact us, when time permits, to pinpoint where the leak is and fix it. I am very happy with the professionalism exhibited.

Yeager Services is family owned. They have kept our old AC/Heating system going for a couple of years. Mr Yeager (Senior) and his son are polite, neat, very capable, very professional and arrive when they say they will. We have called upon them on several occasions and have never been disappointed.

He came in and was very knowledgable. He didn't try to oversell us anything. He matched exactly what we needed. Since our home is older, he had to do some special things to make everything up to code. He came back out a couple of times after the installation to make sure everything was working properly. I highly recommend his services.

Showed up on time (with teenage grandson in tow - love that he's teaching him the business and how to work!) He tested the thermostats and found them to be working. Went outside and took apart the a/c unit. Found it was very dirty and there were plants growing around it, smothering the air flow. He vacuumed the unit, had his grandson pull all the plants from around both upstairs and downstairs units, tested everything and cleaned up. He was courteous, thorough, and knew his business. Would definitely hire him again for bigger job!

Called company in the morning because our A/C unit was shorting out and quit working the night before. Spoke with Curt who told me he could come out between 2 and 3 that afternoon. What a great surprise! And he arrived right on time, around 2:30. After checking out the unit he determined that we had some faulty wiring in the compressor. Replaced wiring and gave the unit a tune-up. I was very pleased to see that all of the great reviews weren't wrong. Curt was honest, courteous and knowledgeable. Would definitely use again and recommend to others.

Own a rental unit. The A/C needed service. Checked AL and he was close. I expected paying big bucks since the unit had not been serviced in 10 years. They arrive and take about 2 hours to do a tune up. Expecting a big bill from them but was quiet pleased the cost was very reasonable. They also gave us some common sense advice. Outstanding; thank you!

From the time I made the call I clicked with this company right away. They came right out and looked at the heater. They had it fixed and working in no time. I'm a happy camper. They were very pleasant, friendly, and professional. He was very familiar with the older houses in our area and was use to servicing these older homes heating units. This I found very important. I'd call them again if I needed to.
