Yaeger found a replacement compressor and installed it for 40% the cost others had quoted for replacing the entire system. Others said that a compressor alone was not available.

Air conditioner worked great after the hose was cleared.

I received 3 different bids. Curt was the only one that mentioned an additional air flow vent. Curt and his crew (Andrew and Shane) were a pleasure to work with. They showed up on time both days (demo and install). They found a whole in my air duct in the attic and was able to fix it without any additional cost. Curt arranged for all inspections and they passed with flying colors. Finished work looks great and runs like a champ. Would highly recommend them.

Curt first found there was no power getting through the wires, and circuit breakers were fine. He then said it was probably a cover off the furnace in the attic or a fuse in that unit. I was surprised. We had had a whole house fan installed up there recently, but they didn't mess with the furnace. Curt went into the attic and immediately found the furnace cover lying on the attic floor. Once replaced, the power came back to the thermostat. The workmen must have jarred it loose when working in the attic on the fan. I was impressed that Curt knew it could be something as simple as that.

We had an add on room in the back of our house that wasn't connected to our ducting system and became too hot to use in the summer time.After a couple of estimates from other companies,I looked on Angie's list and found Yaeger Services.Curt gave us an estimate the same day I called that was very reasonable and agreed came out to perform the job at a convenient time for us. Herb performed the work in a very professional manner.He used angle iron to outline the sleeve the ac unit fit into.This unit is installed so solidly I think I could sit on it and it wouldn't move!! Herb cleaned the work area very well after he was finished.I was very impressed with the work done by this company and at a very good price.I highly recommend them.

The process was friendly and painless. He even called when an earlier appointment ended early to see if her could come earlier. He was quick and efficient. I had used an Angies List coupon for the service and advised them that was going to have them look in the attic and possibly repair a detached vent (crummy contractor did it, not this provider). He took one look and told me that the portion of the house that had been damaged, was wrapped in asbestos. He explained the issues concerning the broken venting, and provided me with an estimate for removal and new vent installation for the whole house. I was surprised at the cost, as it was much lower than I expected. I plan on using this company for the reventing and asbestos removal, but will have to wait until September to do it. Hopefully, they will still be able to honor the estimate. Service was great and the provider instilled a sense of conpetence and trust.

Near the end of the hot season last year, my air conditioner would just hum and not operate. This year, I decided to have it repaired before the hot season arrives. I hired a company that repaired my air conditioner about 10 years ago. The technician performed some tests and determined that 3 components shoulld be replaced. One of the component was the contactor. After the 3 components were replaced, the air conditioner was up and running but the compressor made an awful noise. The technician could not determine why the compressor was noisy. He said all the components were installed correctly. I thought maybe the compressor was damaged last year. After paying for the service, I decided to have another company look at the problem. From Angie's List, I selected Yaeger Services. Mr. Curt Yaeger arrived as scheduled and on time. He performed some tests and indicated that the unloader solenoid was On all of the time. He rewired the unloader solenoid. The noise from the compressor went away. Mr. Yaeger checked the air conditioner system including the freon level and installed a new filter. The air conditioner is now quiet and operating normally. Thank you Mr. Yaeger for your excellent work in correcting the problem. In the future, Yaeger Services will be my first choice to take care of any heating/air conditioning problems.

Everything was Great except the invoice had no breakdown, Maybe becuase it was not a lot of money.

This started out as a desire to upgrade our existing air return to accept a disposable filter and look better. When they did the calculations on air flow for our 5 ton system, they determined it wasn't big enough. We looked at enlarging the existing plenum but determined it was inadequate, and some of the ducting was in very bad shape. So we bit the bullet for a brand new system that uses the attic access panel for the air return. The Yaegers (the son did most of the work) did a very nice job on the project, which took an entire day to complete. They even did some extra "clean-up" for me on ductwork and elsewhere while in the attic. I initially chose Yaeger because they offered a coupon for an A/C tune-up at a reasonable price, and the fact that they are a local, family-owned business. No hesitation in recommending them. I only gave them a B for price because I didn't get any other estimates, so I don't know if their price was high or low by comparison.

The thermostat on my 1939 floor furnace malfunctioned during this unusual cold spell and my house and I were freezing cold. I went on Angie's list and found Yaeger Services and liked the recent reviews I read about them. I called them on Monday late morning and they said the earliest they could come was Wednesday or perhaps Tuesday late afternoon due to the high volume of work orders they had. They called back shortly to confirm Tuesday between 3 & 5 pm. On Tuesday I received a call midday saying they could be there right away so they came at 1pm took care of the problem in an hour. Father and son (Yaeger) coordinated to make it happen that quickly. They were both very competent, friendly and accomodating. I would highly recommend them.

The furnace in our home stopped very early in the morning of Dec. 30. I wasn't a member of Angie's List and I knew I had to be. My daughter , who is more adept with the internet, signed me up and we started going through the list. I decided on Yaeger Services and called promptly at 8 Am on the 2nd. Mr. Yaeger answered and said he had two appointments in the morning but could be here this afternoon. He arrived and tested the electrical components and found the problem within 10 or 15 minutes. After replacing the burned out starter, he tested the rest of the furnace workings and thermostat and gave it all a "thumbs-up". As it turned out we are both from Minnesota and if you know that climate he knows what he is doing, and doing it well.

Analysis and repair work was conducted in a timely and efficient manner.

Kraeger really cared about doing the best possible job for us. They went out of their way to leave us feeling great about the work that they did. I will be seeking their help with our A/C unit in the spring.

Everything from start to finish was very professional with the install of our 2 industrial roof mounted exhaust fans, from initial phone call, to estimate consulatation, to price, to installation. We are very happy we found them via angies list.

This was a first rate experience. Herb and his dad were great. They were knowledgable, thorough and did beautiful work. I thought the pricing was very competitive, and I am very happy with the job. I was especially pleased that they sorted out some old design problems with my current AC system. They are persistent and don't cut corners. This company has also done work on a commercial building that I own, and I was very satisfied with that work. I highly recommend Yaeger Services.

Curt arrived as scheduled and evaluated the AC units. As requested, he called me on my cell phone to discuss maintenance options and approximate cost. He cleaned the units, checked fluid levels, and changed filters. Pleased with his professionalism and I plan to use his services again in the future.

Found great reviews for this company on AL, but when I called to schedule an emergency visit they said they were booked for 7 days. Time to expand if you want to keep your A rating, people.

I called Curt on Monday morning first thing. He explained that his schedule was full for Monday so he said he could call me Tuesday morning and let me know when he could come over. This was right in the middle of a heatwave so it made complete sense that his schedule was a little busy. He did call me on Tuesday morning and told me he could come around 3pm. He came and quickly got to work looking at all the components of my AC system. He checked my air filter in the furnace and noticed that the vent (outside air) was fully open. He explained that this wasn't set right and that I was bringing warm air from the outside and cooling it instead of pulling cooler returned air from inside the house and cooling it further. He put 3 pounds of coolant into my system and got it cooling nicely. He was very professional the whole time he was here and I will use him again if my AC or heating system has issues. I was impressed with his respect for his equipment and the organization of his truck. He replaced the caps on the compressor unit with new ones that had rubber gaskets on the inside.

Good experience from beginning to end. Very pleasant folks to work with. Took awhile to get them here as we were in the midst of a heat wave, but they came when they said they would. And they DID answer their phone in spite of being busy ( which some A/C places didn't .) Would definitely call them again.
