Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for drain cleaning with a video inspection. They came and completed the work. Initially, it was one professional, gentleman who came. Unfortunately, some of the equipment on his truck was broke and they had to send out another technician. There was quite a delay waiting on the second technician. Once he arrive and while waiting on the job to complete, a large water bug came out and the second technician overreacted. As a homeowner, he put me off and I felt that was unprofessional.

Description of Work: I just wanted to warn people not to use his services. If there was an F for personality I'd select that too!

Description of Work: Called out for a slow draining tub, excellent customer service, clean, punctual, professional and helpful. Offered additional services that are helpful. Excellent on-line services for scheduling but prices were higher than competition for similar basic services.

Description of Work: I originally called for a water heater flush.. When they arrived I told them that a leak had developed suddenly in the drain line from ac unit inside house to the outside. I completely forgot that gardeners had been working in this area and had inadvertantly moved the drain hose up the hill ( not facing down as it should be) They didn't notice this at first and went ahead and drained the line and replaced a connection. .I passed on the water heater flush at this time. The men were extremely nice, just ask my dog. I will watch the gardeners! Update: two days later and leak is back...water on floor. I talked to someone ( neighbor) who advised me that if the filter of ac is dirty it can freeze the coils and to replace filter and turn on fan to remove any ice. I have done this as of now. I called and spoke to Robert, the manager, and we discussed what all had happened. Since air conditioners are not their forte, and I switched gears on them at the last minute, I was not angry. He told me that customer service and satisfaction was their primary concern and told me he would refund my money since my problem was not fixed. I was stunned. It is rare in this day and age to find that kind of integrity. I will definitely call them in future for any plumbing needs.

Description of Work: Joe from Moffett Plumbing came out the same day we called and gave us pricing on replacing our leaking hot water heater. We agreed on the model that best suited or needs and had him install it.

Description of Work: They responded right away. Lisitened to what we thought it might be and what we wanted to start with as far as how to handle the situation. Did not try to "sell" us on anything we did not need. Also very fair pricing.

Description of Work: I had a water leak from the shower pipes upstairs. They did a good job but i kept getting the feeling they were trying to upset me on things. I was stressed enough owned did not need to know about other things that maybe wrong that had nothing to do with issue. I had an issue completely different the next week and went back to the plumbing company I used before.

Description of Work: Truck arrived on time. Very personable guys. Did a good. job of explaining the Moffet service. Took great care to not leave any visual trail of their visit. Toilet line was blocked. No available outside access. I had already removed the toilet bowl the day before and used a 25' snake without success. After checking for any problems under the house via crawl space, they hooked up the 100 ft electric snake and were done if a few minutes. Re-installed the bowl for me. Also provided me with an estimate on some additional plumbing work that I requested.. Downside was the price...a little high. They have a service/trip fee as well. I think the service trip fee should apply only if you decide not to have them perform the work. Upside. Good job done by a local contractor. First time using Angie's List (a 10% discount on the biil) & Tom Moffet Plumbing. Will use both of them again..

Description of Work: My H.O.Association stated the water that leaked into my townhouse was a slab leak and it was my responsiblity to get said leak fixed. The Association also stated that I would need to contact a plumber to find out exactly where it was leaking. I Contacted Tom Moffett Plumbing to checked for a slab leak; wherein they stated that more than likely it was not a slab leak , however the Association would require proof, therein I authorized him to run the test. Needless to say there was no slab leak and Tom Moffett provided me with a detailed invoice to forward to my H.O. Association, wherein they took the responsibilty to locate and fix the leak at no cost to me.

Description of Work: I had some collapsed pipes under my kitchen. They had to drill through the slab and repair the pipes and then relay the slab.

Description of Work: Our toilet tank wasn't filling up after flushing. We tried to fix it ourselves after paying $76 to Geroge Brazil for coming out and giving us a quote of $276 to fix the problem. James and another man came exactly on time, explained the problem and used our purchase part to fix it within 30min.
