Pacific Coast Termite Inc

I chose Pacific Coast Termite because their inspector, Matt Muth, did a far more thorough inspection than the other 2 companies that gave me estimates. (I did not want to go with tenting, therefore, if I had hired one of the other companies, I still would have had live termites when they were done.) The price was quite a bit higher, but it's not really a fair comparison since Pacific Coast found much more to treat. Matt walked me around the outside of the house when he was done with the inspection and showed me exactly what he found. The day of the termite treatment, the team, led by Eddie, showed up right on time and were very pleasant and professional. The job took approximately 5 hours, during which time I was able to stay in the house and barely knew they were there. Eddie walked me around the property when they were done and showed me exactly what they had done. He told me that they had tried to hide the drill holes wherever possible because the wood trim on my house is bright teal blue and the holes are patched with white filler.

The inspector, Matt, was very thorough and professional. Provided a detailed report on damaged areas (extensive ) and recommendations. Exterminators completed treatment in a timely manner with minimal disruption of our normal activities. About 6 months later, we noticed evidence of termites in a small, isolated area and notified Pacific Coast. They responded immediately and sent a technician out the next day. He treated the area, as well as surrounding areas and no trace of termites have been observed since. Overall, pleased with the responsiveness and professionalism of Pacific Coast Termite and would recommend them to others interested in a clean, non-invasive treatment of termite infestation.

Inspection was thorough. All staff were pleasant and responsive. Did what they said they would do when they said they would do it. Very professional.

The service was good. During the quote process they did say they would be able to cover all of the holes where the pests could get in. When they came to do the work they did not bring the proper equipment and they did leave one uncovered. They still have not came back to cover that up. The people that showed up were professional and kind. They answered all of my questions as well.

The inspector was Mike who inspected for termites and checked their structural damage. He was punctual, polite and examined every square inch of my 2-story home. He found a lot of evidence of drywood termites and damage. Did an estimate for the treatment and for wood repair/replacement. The inspection which was about 4 hours was no cost and no obligation. We eventually went with another company, however we were pleased with the professionalism and thoroughness that Mike provided.

They arrived in the time window they gave me. There was a team of three, one under the house, one in the attic and one at the exterior. They used the chemicals they quoted. The project took them a little over four hours to complete. My house is 1900 sq ft. They worked each area until they were finished. When the attic guy finished his work he helped treat under the house. They finished with the garage. They were not the most tidy but they treated everything on the contract. As an alternative to tenting the house, I'm glad I choose them.

First they tested all areas to determine location of infestation. Then they drilled holes in infested wood. Finally they pumped relatively un-dangerous substance in all the holes. They treated wood beams on two vaulted ceilings inside the house and throughout the garage, treated wood trim outside, treated attic. Then they cleaned up.

The company called the day before to confirm the appointment and gave a time window. On the day of the appointment, the technician showed up on time, as promised, and performed the treatment. After the treatment, the company customer service rep called to survey our satisfaction. The process was as painless and can be expected. We were very satisfied with their service.

Steve came out on 2/4/14 and did a thorough inspection. I had two other companies come out for quotes and their inspections were not as thorough and complete. Steve was also very friendly, on time and answered all questions I had regarding his process vs. tenting. After a bit of debate I opted to go with PCT and their treatment over the tenting. Two days later the technicians arrived on time. They were both friendly, attentive to detail and took care of making sure everything was properly protected as they did their work. I have not used orange oil before so I will keep an eye out for any future issues but the service did come with a two year warranty. No complaints as of right now. I would recommend Pacific Coast Termite.

The only problem was when we noticed we were overcharged $300.00 for work in the patio area that didn't need to be done. If we hadn't questioned this, we would not have received our money back. They were very cooperative in researching the overcharge, and promptly returned the money, but we were disappointed when the contractors who did the work, said nothing at all. If it had not been for the contractor's over site, this company would have received an A rating.

Ricardo came and did a thorough inspection; he spent ~ 2 hours and checked all areas. Shortly later, Ricardo sent in an inspection report detailing all works and price. The price is slightly higher than others but reasonable after discount offered by their manager. Mark and Justin came in on time to do the treatment. They did a careful job and Mark found another infected area and took care of it. Overall, they did a good and clean job with a 2-year warranty.

They were wonderful to deal with. It will be a matter of time before I know for sure if it took care of the problems. I found them very agreeable and very pleasant to deal with. It started out at one fee and then it was actually my painter who found a serious termite problem that the termite people did not see, so they came back. Like I said I would not know for a while if they really got the termites, I have reason to believe that they did because my painter had to remove so much wood siding and he said to me things looked clear to him. They were lovely to deal with and I feel like they did everything I asked of them. I would say they are an "A" rated company pretty much all the way down the line. They gave us a two-year guarantee. I do not want the pesticides, so working with them was easier for me than going with companies that wanted tents and all that kind of things.

Once the inspection was completed, he discussed with me what he found, and that a fully detailed inspection report would follow. Based on that discussion, I decided to have them perform the needed work. A work crew came out the following week, and performed the needed work in a professional manner. Next a follow-up inspection of the work performed was conducted by another person from the company. My experience with this company was great, and I was very impressed with their attitude, professionalism and speed.

Very professional! Extremely courteous. Arrived when they said they would. Did the work in a timely and professional manner. Would definitely use them again.

Told me I had a major rat problem when I did not.

They did a free inspection, which confirmed what we already suspected, that we had 5 colonies of termites in our subflooring. Then we paid them to come out and do their treatments to kill the termites. Everything was done on time and with a high degree of professionalism. Of course, the best part is that we didn't have to move out while the work was done. But only time will tell if the treatment will be completely effective.

Initially, the company sent a representative to assess the problem and provide details as to what specific service would be performed. A contract was consummate after his inspection, which included getting on the the tiled roof and into a tight attic. The service was then performed with detailed explanation as to what was being done. This technician completed the job within 4 hours. A supervisor arranged to check the work a week later, and he too was very professional, and completed an inspection of the work. The service was followed with a final step of sanitizing the attic. All in all, the company great to deal with, and so far, their work has been effective.

PCT was here on time. I was told that it would take 4 to 6 hours to complete the job. They completed the job in 2-1/2. hours. They had to put holes in the walls which I was not told ahead of time. They patched the holes but I needed to refill holes, sand, and repaint. The holes put in the outside wood were mostly filled, some boards were missed. But I'm going to replace them anyway. I did not tent fumigate because my roof has concrete tiles and solar panels. I think I paid too much for the amount of time the crew of 2 were here. I chose them because of their reputation and the quality of their products used.

The inspector arrived on time (actually, he was early and waited for the 8 a.m. time in his car) and was direct and thorough. I don't own my little house. I rent. But I knew if I went to my building manager, he'd want to tent the place (because it is cheaper) and with my current work schedule, going through that process would make me crazed. So I decided to eat the cost myself and get the orange oil treatment instead. Thankfully, the inspector understood the situation and didn't try to upsell me on a bunch of things or do anymore than was absolutely necessary. Even better, I was able to get an appointment for treatment the very next day. The techs were also on time, very polite, and did their jobs efficiently. The whole process took a few hours but I was able to hideout in my office with my dog with no problems.

Santos the wood division supervisor for Pacific Coast arrived for the inspection on time the morning of 9/9/2013. Santos was able to provide me with a verbal estimate on the spot. Two large patio beams need to be replaced. The beams were very large with one over 28 feet long (had to be custom ordered). I requested a formal invoice/quote (did not receive until the following week), but it was worth the wait. I approved the estimate and scheduled the work for the morning of 9/26. Two workers arrived (Mike and Jose) on time. Very professional and friendly. Started work right away. Installed the smaller of the two beams. A third worker arrived to help install the 28 foot beam. Quite a challenge considering the wood patio cover in question is large and of intricate design and overhangs a large Koi pond. They did great work. Super clean up. Would hire Pacific Coast Termite again.

Great. However, a little pricey for us at this time.

Their inspection was very thorough and they gave us an honest appraisal. The treatment seemed to be very thorough as well and they seemed to have gotten everything.

All contact professional, from bidding to follow-up after work. Good, service-oriented crew. Some post-work check-ups included. There were some less expensive contractor options, but you get what you paid for and I felt value with Pacific Coast was certainly there. Largely, my choice for a provider was driven by choosing one that I felt would do a good, thorough job of cleaning the attic and sealing any rodent entry points before installing the new insultation.

The technicians arrived on time, were very courteous and professional. I am completely satisfied with their performance.
