Description of Work: On the day my chimney was to be inspected and swept Mr. Sully telephoned earlier than expected to inform me he had completed the appointment before mine and would it be OK to begin sooner. He explained his procedure and began. The surrounding floor and walls were covered with a large drop-cloth. He inspected the entrance to the chimney flue and serviced the damper to insure it sealed the opening properly when the fireplace was not being used. He swept the flue beginning at ground level and again from the roof down. He inspected the flue for cracks assuring me there would be no future problems with combustion gases, which I understand contains carbon monoxide, from leaking into the house. I would engage Mr. Sully's company again and can recommend his services. He answered all the questions I asked. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and pleasantly good-natured. It's my opinion he charged a reasonable fee for his services. He left my front room clean and free from soot. But more importantly, he provided peace-of-mind regarding the safety of my tenants when they are enjoying the fireplace.

He called to let us know he was running slightly behind and arrived shortly after that. I will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: We purchased a 9 year old bank owned home and had no idea how the four fireplaces had been maintained. Before we began to use them, I wanted them inspected and had one gas log to be installed. I called Lucky Sully on a Friday and they came Monday morning at 9 am. The provider was prompt and courteous. He was able to inspect the fireplaces and found no defects. He also installed the gas log. I felt the cost of service was reasonable and I would use them again.

Description of Work: Sully was very professional. He explained some issues I had with my chimney but didn't try to sell me any further service to fix them. The only problem I had was the cleaning didn't totally eliminate the creosote smell which I was hoping for.

Description of Work: Brian cleaned the chimney and was very neat about it. I asked about cleaning the duct coming from my dryer, he looked at it, said it was clear, no charge. At my request, he reconnected the fireplace gas line which we capped off years ago. Since I'm not going up on the roof, I can only hope he did a good job. The charge was exactly what was quoted over the phone and no pressure to spend more money, I appreciated that.

Description of Work: Brian came today for the chimney inspection and cleaning - he was on time, courteous and did a great job. He took care of protecting the area around the fireplace so nothing was damaged by the dirt being removed. A very good experience; I will definitively be using this company again.
